MARSHALL: At 12:34 p.m. a motorcycle collided with a truck.

STINSON BEACH: At 2:21 p.m. a 33-foot sailboat had run ashore.

STINSON BEACH: At 7:46 p.m. someone called about the beached boat.

INVERNESS: At 8:34 p.m. a tree fell over Hawthornden Way.

Tuesday, August 1

OLEMA: At 6:43 a.m. a cow was on the roadside.

POINT REYES STATION: At 9:06 a.m. a sick person sought medics.

SAN GERONIMO: At 1:33 p.m. medics transported someone.

STINSON BEACH: At 1:52 p.m. a woman said she had found an engagement ring at the beach a few weeks before and taken it home but then learned someone was looking for it.

CHILENO VALLEY: At 2:38 p.m. medics transported someone.

SEASHORE: At 4:47 p.m. a garbage receptacle was on fire.

MOUNT TAM: At 11:39 p.m. a couple was arguing at the campground. 

Wednesday, August 2

STINSON BEACH: At 3:04 a.m. someone called for medics.

POINT REYES STATION: At 8:50 a.m. an alarm sounded at the school. 

INVERNESS PARK: At 10:28 a.m. a woman said her purse had disappeared after a man who had been hired to drive her and her husband had come into her house and then two fraudulent charges had been made on her credit card and she blamed him but didn’t want to name names.

OLEMA: At 12:49 p.m. someone wanted to talk about crime.

CHILENO VALLEY: At 2:54 p.m. a woman said homeless people had been squatting on a neighbor’s property ever since the neighbor died. 

STINSON BEACH: At 7:21 p.m. someone said the man whose boat had run aground was now living on the beach. Deputies spoke with the owner, who said that night he and some locals were going to attempt to refloat it at high tide. A deputy gave him a number for a salvage company. 

FOREST KNOLLS: At 8:40 p.m. a woman said her landlord had started a pipe repair in her unit while she was away even after she said the work needed to be rescheduled because she was running out on errands. 

BOLINAS: At 9:02 p.m. someone said a homeless woman who had been given a trespassing warning was back, unpacking her belongings and setting up camp outside the library.

CHILENO VALLEY: At 11:58 p.m. a woman said five people were at her son’s house on the property and two were on the roof. She said there was a woman in a fancy dress and a man with a beard and a table with a tablecloth. 

Thursday, August 3

BOLINAS: At 7:58 a.m. a woman in a robe was yelling slurs outside the library. 

SEASHORE: At 8:43 a.m. someone’s son was trapped by the tide at Sculptured Beach. 

STINSON BEACH: At 8:56 a.m. someone had questions about the beached boat.

STINSON BEACH: At 10:04 a.m. someone was worried about possible pollution from the boat. Deputies assured the caller there were no pollutants onboard.

POINT REYES STATION: At 11:11 a.m. someone reported losing a wallet.

STINSON BEACH: At 11:13 a.m. someone called about the beached boat.

INVERNESS: At 11:18 a.m. someone had questions about overnight parking near Chicken Ranch Beach.

FOREST KNOLLS: At 11:29 a.m. a man said his landlord was evicting him and he was unprepared to move out.

BOLINAS: At 11:33 a.m. a homeless woman was yelling at someone’s staff.

BOLINAS: At 11:54 a.m. a deputy tried to facilitate said woman’s departure from town by West Marin Stagecoach, with the bus driver agreeing to transport her if she removed her bags from a wheelchair and carried them on instead. She refused, saying she would hitchhike to Point Reyes and sleep on the roadside. 

NICASIO: At 12:53 p.m. a man reported losing thousands of dollars in a computer scam involving people claiming to be from Geek Squad and asking for his information after stating they had accidentally charged him too much and needed to return the funds.

FOREST KNOLLS: At 2:40 p.m. a woman wanted to talk about her landlord’s handyman entering her apartment while she was away.

WOODACRE: At 4:03 p.m. a woman was believed to be a danger to herself or others.

BOLINAS: At 4:57 p.m. deputies reported a drug violation.

STINSON BEACH: At 6:49 p.m. someone wished to talk about the beached boat.

WOODACRE: At 6:56 p.m. medics transported someone.

POINT REYES STATION: At 8 p.m. someone sought medics.

DILLON BEACH: At 8:43 p.m. someone reported smelling alcohol when a driver who had nearly hit several pedestrians at the campground rolled down his window.

DILLON BEACH: At 10:55 p.m. an impaired driver exited the campground.

Friday, August 4

MARSHALL: At 12:17 a.m. someone reported a suspicious subject.

POINT REYES STATION: At 8:32 a.m. someone found a leather coin pouch with close to $200 in it.

SAN GERONIMO: At 10:51 a.m. a car drove off a roadway.

POINT REYES STATION: At 11:39 a.m. thrift store staff wanted to talk.

LAGUNITAS: At 3:07 p.m. deputies booked someone on a warrant.

MUIR BEACH: At 6:54 p.m. someone needed medics.

FOREST KNOLLS: At 8:16 p.m. someone needed advice.

SAN GERONIMO: At 9:09 p.m. a youth had run away from a treatment center. 

LAGUNITAS: At 9:49 p.m. a neighbor reported a backyard propane fire.

Saturday, August 5

TOMALES: At 10:32 a.m. two people needed medics.

FOREST KNOLLS: At 12:58 p.m. a man said people conducted custody exchanges in the parking lot of his business, taking up parking space for customers.

OLEMA: At 1:41 p.m. someone needed medics.

MOUNT TAM: At 4:28 p.m. someone needed medics on a trail.

WOODACRE: At 4:46 p.m. a driver was weaving east.

MUIR WOODS: At 7:59 p.m. a woman was lost on a trail.

WOODACRE: At 9:17 p.m. a man said someone had twice banged aggressively on his window and both times he’d gone to the door, no one had been there. 

TOMALES: At 10:22 p.m. an object was burning in the middle of a road.

Sunday, August 6

STINSON BEACH: At 8:55 a.m. a woman said she had accidentally hit a dog with her car the day before in Bolinas and its owner was very upset.

STINSON BEACH: At 11:48 a.m. someone said they were trying to help a man get his boat ungrounded and asked for a few more days to do so, since several people were involved. 

DILLON BEACH: At 12:29 p.m. a man said a dog at the campground had jumped on his dog and broken its back and the owner had refused to provide their information. 

STINSON BEACH: At 1:35 p.m. a car was parked in someone’s driveway.

STINSON BEACH: At 3:10 p.m. the car was still in the driveway.

STINSON BEACH: At 3:23 p.m. a deputy provided traffic control. 

OLEMA: At 4:29 p.m. a cow was in the road.

WOODACRE: At 5:31 p.m. a woman complained about a neighbor’s music.

OLEMA: At 6:51 p.m. several men were snorting something in a van.

STINSON BEACH: At 6:57 p.m. someone said teenagers were antagonizing the man whose boat had grounded on the beach and the man had just sprayed them with something or thrown something at them. 

POINT REYES STATION: At 7:41 p.m. someone called about a lost phone.

STINSON BEACH: At 8:31 p.m. a youth said he and his friends had been messing with the owner of the beached boat and he had thought it was a good idea to stand on the boat. The man had then threatened to kill them, he said. Deputies told the caller that he should not have gotten on the boat.
