The Marin County Board of Supervisors is currently looking for a new representative to sit on the Marin Community Foundation Board of Trustees. Supervisors are allowed to appoint two trustees to the charitable organization, and are accepting applications until August 26. “All trustees should have a reputation in the Marin community as a person of intelligence, integrity, skill, experience and good judgment and have a caring and compassionate view of the community,” said Patrice Stancato, the deputy clerk of the Board of Supervisors. The new trustee will have to help oversee more than 300 charitable trusts across the county worth a combined value of $1 billion.
