If January’s below-average temperatures tested your winter-recipe books, a soup-making class being offered this Friday in Point Reyes Station may offer the right boost to your cooking. The hands-on course, which includes lunch and a farm tour, is offered for $75 at The Fork, the culinary education and event space at Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Company. The Fork’s executive chef, Jennifer Luttrell, will teach cooks how to make a hearty soup with a vegetarian stock, a fish fumet and a butternut squash puree.
