Caltrans has begun a project to repair 4,900 feet of rock slope protection and provide new paving along Highway One, near the Bolinas Lagoon. The $3.5 million project, located along a two-mile stretch in the north and south-bound lanes of the highway, is the first to incorporate recommended improvements from the 2008 Bolinas Lagoon Ecosystem Restoration Project. “After years of consideration, I’m thrilled that restoration of the Bolinas Lagoon is underway,” said Supervisor Steve Kinsey.…
