OLEMA: At 9:44 a.m. a cow was loose on a roadside.

POINT REYES STATION: At 12:01 p.m. a woman had locked her keys and her child in her car.

MUIR BEACH: At 12:36 p.m. a man called about an arrest related to elder abuse.

FOREST KNOLLS: At 4:03 p.m. someone reported a vehicle impersonating law enforcement, with red and blue lights but no decals.

MARSHALL: At 7:54 p.m. a deputy moved along a man camping at a boat launch.

SAN GERONIMO: At 7:26 a.m. branches had fallen into a road.

INVERNESS: At 7:57 a.m. a tree fell in the boulevard.

NICASIO: At 10:21 a.m. a deputy patrolled the square.

OLEMA: At 10:54 a.m. a woman said that a man had lunged at her dog on the Cross Marin Trail and threatened to tear its limbs off, one by one.  

POINT REYES STATION: At 10:58 a.m. medics attended to someone.

BOLINAS: At 11:46 a.m. a phone line acted up.

BOLINAS: At 1:24 p.m. a white woman was smacking a black dog.

CHILENO VALLEY: At 5:42 p.m. a drunk man had been passed out in a driveway all day.

POINT REYES STATION: At 7:21 p.m. a woman said a former friend was harassing her.

OLEMA: At 7:25 p.m. a woman said her elderly parents were stranded on a road.

POINT REYES STATION: At 7:32 p.m. a car drove into a ditch near the meadery.

STINSON BEACH: At 10:51 p.m. a rockslide had blocked the highway.

SEASHORE: At 11:27 a.m. an equestrian had dislocated her shoulder.

BOLINAS: At 12:44 p.m. a dog had been barking all day.

TOMALES: At 4:35 p.m. a woman reported losing money in a bitcoin scam; she wasn’t clear how much.

WOODACRE: At 7:41 p.m. a driver struck a tree and self-extricated.

STINSON BEACH: At 6:02 a.m. someone phoned for medics.

POINT REYES STATION: At 10:02 a.m. a woman called about two incidents in which she said a dentist had pressed his pelvis into her head during dental work.

LAGUNITAS: At 1:22 p.m. authorities warned an unlicensed fisherman at Kent Lake.

POINT REYES STATION: At 8:54 p.m. someone called for medics.

POINT REYES STATION: At 9:14 p.m. someone else called for medics.

STINSON BEACH: At 9:21 p.m. another patient needed medics.

POINT REYES STATION: At 7:52 a.m. a deputy patrolled at the school.

WOODACRE: At 11:06 a.m. a deputy visited the fire station.

STINSON BEACH: At 12:32 p.m. a driver said a speeding sports car had crossed into their lane and nearly hit them.

BOLINAS: At 12:49 p.m. someone said a recent road resurfacing project had led to a new speeding problem on Overlook Drive.

OLEMA: At 2:40 p.m. a deputy conducted emergency radio checks.

TOMALES: At 3:54 p.m. someone called about a fraud case.

BOLINAS: At 5:13 p.m. a deputy checked on an unhoused man.

BOLINAS: At 6:01 p.m. the deputy documented a homeless camp.

INVERNESS PARK: At 7:09 p.m. someone with a work crew departing Drakes View Drive said a resident had come running out of his house toward their vehicles and his foot had been run over, after which he temporarily blocked the crew with his Tesla.

FOREST KNOLLS: At 7:40 p.m. someone reported a concert in the farm stand art space.

NICASIO: At 8:54 p.m. a driver had killed a deer.

DILLON BEACH: At 11:38 p.m. a woman’s alcoholic ex-boyfriend had parked his R.V. outside her empty house and told her neighbor that he was leaving her flowers and chocolate; the neighbor said he was falling-over drunk and had a history of stalking and domestic violence. 

Friday, October 31

TOMALES: At 1:17 a.m. someone reported vandalism by guests at a high-end vacation rental where the “Scream” movies were filmed. The guests denied it, with some expletives directed at a deputy.

DILLON BEACH: At 8:29 a.m. a black cow was reported in a road.

SAN GERONIMO: At 8:37 a.m. an Acura was swerving south.

MUIR BEACH: At 10:58 a.m. someone called about a court order.

POINT REYES STATION: At 3:11 p.m. medics transported someone.

INVERNESS: At 4:02 p.m. a man said he returned home to find several trees removed by a tree company that had not given any notice, and the trees had been nowhere near power lines.

BOLINAS: At 6:37 p.m. a woman who manages a fire-damaged building said she had credible reports of people going inside despite it being boarded up and posted with no-trespassing signs. 

MARSHALL: At 9:09 p.m. someone said crabbers were camping out at a boat launch ahead of the season opener. A deputy found several cooperative fishermen who weren’t camping, just getting ready.

STINSON BEACH: At 9:12 p.m. someone needed medics.

TOMALES: At 9:34 p.m. medics transported someone.

MOUNT TAM: At 9:59 p.m. a woman said her husband had not returned from a hike and his phone had died hours ago.

MOUNT TAM: At 11:33 p.m. deputies called in search and rescue teams along with a California Highway Patrol plane from Napa.

Saturday, November 1

MOUNT TAM: At 1:01 a.m. the sheriff’s office talked with the fire department about using a scent dog and later noted that search and rescue teams may have found the missing hiker.

DILLON BEACH: At 10:13 a.m. a deputy patrolled the campground.

BOLINAS: At 10:16 a.m. another deputy patrolled the wharf.

STINSON BEACH: At 1:01 p.m. an outside law enforcement agency asked for help searching for the vehicle of a missing and suicidal person.

MUIR BEACH: At 2:20 p.m. someone reported 40 to 50 vehicles parked illegally outside the closed park service parking lot. Deputies found none of them blocking the road and noted that this was commonplace during government shutdowns.

WOODACRE: At 3:59 p.m. someone said a cyclist was lying on a roadside unresponsive. Deputies listed the call as one of public drunkenness. 

SAN GERONIMO: At 5:46 p.m. two callers, one of whom was attending a memorial, complained about loud music at a restaurant where staff had refused to lower the volume.

SEASHORE: At 6:39 p.m. a woman said she had started hiking at Shell Beach but ended up all the way at Heart’s Desire and had a dying phone and no way to get back. 

BOLINAS: At 9:41 p.m. someone said the music at Smiley’s was too loud.

BOLINAS: At 11:27 p.m. someone said the music was getting louder.
