LAGUNITAS: At 1:48 p.m. medics placed someone on a mental-health hold.

BOLINAS: At 2:27 p.m. someone asked for help with an R.V. that no one would tow.

Tuesday, October 17

POINT REYES STATION: At 4:26 a.m. deputies evaluated someone’s mental health.

HICKS VALLEY: At 8:37 a.m. a car drove off Novato Boulevard.

POINT REYES STATION: At 9:56 a.m. a woman came to the substation to exchange baseball hats.

WOODACRE: At 11:30 a.m. someone called about an R.V. that a tree had fallen into, saying coming rains would create a swimming pool inside it.

WOODACRE: At 1:42 p.m. someone called about shutting down Redwood Avenue for trick-or-treating.

WOODACRE: At 2:27 p.m. a woman suspected her tenant of stealing her security camera.

WOODACRE: At 2:56 p.m. a landlord said a tenant who was moving out had arranged to have a storage unit delivered but not to have it taken away again. 

STINSON BEACH: At 4:51 p.m. someone said a man and his demented father had trespassed, entering with incense that they had blown in the caller’s face.

SAN GERONIMO: At 5:01 p.m. someone reported a possible drunk driver.

POINT REYES STATION: At 7:07 p.m. a market said a repeat shoplifter was at a checkout counter. Deputies found nothing stolen.

OLEMA: At 8:26 p.m. a man was sleeping at an intersection.

SEASHORE: At 11:39 p.m. a man said his lost cell phone was pinging in Windsor.

STINSON BEACH: At 4 a.m. someone smelled smoke in a home on Puenta Rizal.

MARSHALL: At 7:56 a.m. a man in a convertible said a white van had come speeding up behind him and honking so he had pulled over. The other driver did too, and got out with a weapon described both as a baseball bat and a tomahawk that he had swung at the caller’s head. 

MUIR BEACH: At 8:57 a.m. a woman was burning sage on a roadside.

BOLINAS: At 10:41 a.m. medics transported someone.

STINSON BEACH: At 12:06 p.m. a motorcycle crashed into an oncoming car.

DILLON BEACH: At 1:44 p.m. a man said a suspicious car was parked in his driveway.

POINT REYES STATION: At 2:44 p.m. a man had lost his black trifold wallet.

POINT REYES STATION: At 3:14 p.m. medics transported someone.

WOODACRE: At 4:06 p.m. someone said a Palestinian flag had been placed on the boulevard and believed that was an antisemitic gesture. 

INVERNESS: At 6:56 p.m. a woman who lives on the bay heard someone yelling in distress (in fact, a man chasing his dog).

OLEMA: At 7:15 p.m. a cow was munching near a burned-down house.

WOODACRE: At 8:49 a.m. a man called to talk about “a body incident” and a complicated situation.

BOLINAS: At 9:08 a.m. someone called for medics.

WOODACRE: At 9:08 a.m. someone else called for medics.

POINT REYES STATION: At 10:21 a.m. yet another person called for medics.

FOREST KNOLLS: At 10:45 a.m. someone felt dizzy and said a carbon monoxide alarm was sounding.

POINT REYES STATION: At 11:05 a.m. someone called about a lost 12-year-old poodle.

POINT REYES STATION: At 11:30 a.m. someone called about a van with the words “Don’t open—dead inside” written on a back window.

STINSON BEACH: At 1:13 p.m. someone was locked out of their car.

TOMALES: At 2:28 p.m. someone reported a fire.

BOLINAS: At 2:46 p.m. someone had found a phone.

POINT REYES STATION: At 3:43 p.m. someone was locked out of their car.

NICASIO: At 3:55 p.m. someone said youths driving a truck had hit a deer and dragged it back into the roadway and then driven over it multiple times and cut it up and taken pictures of themselves doing it. 

SEASHORE: At 4:43 p.m. someone needed medics.

STINSON BEACH: At 6:13 p.m. someone sought medics.

LAGUNITAS: At 7 p.m. someone was unresponsive. Medics transported them. 

MARSHALL: At 8:30 p.m. someone found their weekend house ransacked. 

Friday, October 20

FOREST KNOLLS: At 1:09 a.m. someone heard an alarm.

POINT REYES STATION: At 8:50 a.m. a woman accidentally dialed 911.

BOLINAS: At 10:03 a.m. someone reported a civil dispute downtown.

POINT REYES STATION: At 12:29 p.m. a woman said she had tried to book a mechanical bull for an upcoming party on Facebook Marketplace and the supposed owners had blocked her after she sent them payment.

POINT REYES STATION: At 1:24 p.m. someone reported losing a leather wallet held together with duct tape.

BOLINAS: At 2:28 p.m. someone called for medics.

HICKS VALLEY: At 6:57 p.m. cows were in a road.

BOLINAS: At 7:33 p.m. someone heard a loud bang like a gunshot and worried about an “unwell” neighbor who owns guns.

Saturday, October 21

BOLINAS: At 6:36 a.m. someone reported finding a cell phone.

POINT REYES STATION: At 8:50 a.m. someone reported finding the windows smashed and all four tires slashed on a market employee’s car. 

SAN GERONIMO: At 11:45 a.m. a woman said six or seven bicyclists were riding in the road and not letting people pass. When a deputy called her back, she said the cyclists were recording her.

TOMALES: At 1:10 p.m. someone said a neighbor’s four or five dogs were barking.

STINSON BEACH: At 1:33 p.m. someone had died.

BOLINAS: At 2:09 p.m. someone had been ranting and screaming in a tent since before dawn.

TOMALES: At 3:33 p.m. a dog owner called about the barking.

BOLINAS: At 3:36 p.m. someone said two people with baseball bats were threatening the caller over a road rage incident involving a woman speeding on the Big Mesa. 

OLEMA: At 5:41 p.m. a motorcyclist crashed, possibly into a Porsche.

STINSON BEACH: At 9:05 p.m. a search and rescue team set out looking for missing hikers.

POINT REYES STATION: At 9:44 p.m. a neighbor reported loud music on Mesa Road.

INVERNESS PARK: At 11:13 p.m. a man reported a loud house party on West Robert.

Sunday, October 22

LAGUNITAS: At 5:05 a.m. a neighbor complained about loud hip hop on Corona Avenue.

DOGTOWN: At 12:33 p.m. someone asked for a welfare check.

MARSHALL: At 12:42 p.m. medics transported someone.

INVERNESS: At 3:14 p.m. medics transported someone else.

MOUNT TAM: At 2:33 p.m. deputies coordinated with fire crews on a planned burn.

BOLINAS: At 5:14 p.m. someone called for medics.

WOODACRE: At 6:39 p.m. a car drove into a ditch.

POINT REYES STATION: At 10:12 p.m. a man was yelling and racing his Suburban around town.

POINT REYES STATION: At 10:20 p.m. deputies arrested someone on multiple outstanding warrants.
