Tuesday, March 8

TOMALES: At 6:53 a.m. someone asked for a welfare check on a woman talking to herself among horses.

BOLINAS: At 7:19 a.m. a landowner asked deputies to move along a man asleep.

POINT REYES STATION: At 8:52 a.m. a shop owner reported problems with frequent shoplifting and wanted to know what to do about it.

SAN GERONIMO: At 10:11 a.m. a deputy patrolled at the school.

SAN GERONIMO: At 1:25 p.m. wires were hanging low.

TOMALES: At 1:31 p.m. a school official called to talk about a person who keeps walking on the elementary school campus.

POINT REYES STATION: At 2:11 p.m. someone flagged down a deputy.

POINT REYES STATION: At 5:04 p.m. a woman said a man she works with had three times threatened to have sex with her.

SEASHORE: At 6:54 p.m. Florida hikers were lost on a trail.

Wednesday, March 9

SAN GERONIMO: At 3:45 a.m. deputies searched for someone connected to a concrete business that had been burglarized in San Rafael.

TOMALES: At 10:07 a.m. a deputy patrolled the elementary school. 

WOODACRE: At 10:10 a.m. someone said a car had been hit in the middle of the night and the aggressor had left behind part of a reflector and a bulb guard.

TOMALES: At 11:13 a.m. a deputy looked for a person who walked on the elementary school campus every day despite being told not to. Neighbors said the person may be declining cognitively.

TOMALES: At 12:30 p.m. a deputy noted a drug violation.

SAN GERONIMO: At 2:05 p.m. a deputy patrolled the school.

TOMALES: At 2:47 p.m. a tree fell in front of the fire station, taking down power lines.

SEASHORE: At 4:18 p.m. four brown cows were walking on Drakes Beach Road.

SAN GERONIMO: At 4:20 p.m. a hiker saw youths smoking marijuana in a pullout.

HICKS VALLEY: At 4:45 p.m. a cow was in a road.

FOREST KNOLLS: At 4:55 p.m. a Covid patient needed medics.

NICASIO: At 6:01 p.m. a Honda Element had a flat tire.

STINSON BEACH: At 6:52 p.m. someone was found dead near trees by the beach restrooms. People had heard a gunshot. 

STINSON BEACH: At 7:45 p.m. five young hikers were lost on a trail. 

Thursday, March 10

HICKS VALLEY: At 6:47 a.m. a cow was in the road.

POINT REYES STATION: At 8:08 a.m. a deputy policed at the school.

BOLINAS: At 8:10 a.m. someone had died.

TOMALES: At 10:40 a.m. a school resource officer visited the elementary school.

BOLINAS: At 10:43 a.m. a deputy cited a school bus parked in the wrong direction.

POINT REYES STATION: At 2:11 p.m. a local reported losing her wallet in town.

MOUNT TAM: At 3:17 p.m. someone needed medics.

MOUNT TAM: At 4:09 p.m. a caller reported black smoke rising and another caller said an electrical box was on fire along with the dense brush around it.

LAGUNITAS: At 6:18 p.m. someone said a neighbor had come over and banged on the door after the caller accidentally ran over the man’s dog. 

BOLINAS: At 9:46 p.m. a deputy patrolled town.

Friday, March 11

LAGUNITAS: At 8:59 a.m. someone wanted to talk about a neighbor hitting his or her dog on a private road. Deputies noted that it was a civil issue and may have involved negligence, but not reckless driving. 

SAN GERONIMO: At 9:53 a.m. a deputy searched for a homeless camp.

WOODACRE: At 10:14 a.m. someone said a neighbor would not stop cutting trees on the caller’s property.

BOLINAS: At 11:17 a.m. a deputy checked on a school bus and marked it for abatement.

TOMALES: At 11:45 a.m. a deputy patrolled town.

LAGUNITAS: At 2:42 p.m. deputies booked a man who had shoplifted cheese and later resisted arrest.

POINT REYES STATION: At 3:12 p.m. a man said his rancher landlords were blocking the gate so he could not leave the property. 

LAGUNITAS: At 3:21 p.m. a deputy cited a poorly parked and possibly inoperable El Camino.

MARSHALL: At 4:16 p.m. four clammers who had launched from an oyster farm asked for help getting back to shore after their boat drifted away, leaving them on a sandbar.

FOREST KNOLLS: At 5:37 p.m. a landlord said his tenant, who was prohibited from having overnight guests, was now throwing a party in retaliation. 

MOUNT TAM: At 8:22 p.m. a late hiker said her car was locked in a parking lot.

BOLINAS: At 11:15 p.m. someone said a car was speeding through town and then a bartender said the car had driven back and forth in front of the saloon several times, threatening patrons with a gun, according to second-hand reports.

Saturday, March 12

POINT REYES STATION: At 3:24 a.m. medics transported someone.

SAMUEL P. TAYLOR: At 8:05 a.m. medics transported someone else.

DILLON BEACH: At 9:17 a.m. a woman camping at the beach with her husband said the couple had gotten into a fight and he had shoved her to the ground and was hitting her face and had choked her until she could not breathe. She was now on her way to the hospital. 

POINT REYES STATION: At 9:29 a.m. a woman said she had asked an acquaintance for help fixing her car and he had taken tools and her keys and was now acting erratic. 

BOLINAS: At 10:26 a.m. someone had a question about a parking ticket.

POINT REYES STATION: At 10:46 a.m. a woman called again about a mechanic refusing to return keys.

POINT REYES STATION: At 11:30 a.m. the woman wanted to know if she was getting her keys back or not.

BOLINAS: At 1:06 p.m. a woman said a man who had a restraining order against her could not stay away from her and she was scared. He was stalking her.

WOODACRE: At 1:09 p.m. someone reported receiving mail from the Audubon Society about the area being under the Endangered Species Act and therefore loud noise was prohibited.

DILLON BEACH: At 2:47 p.m. someone called about the domestic assault the night before.

POINT REYES STATION: At 3:26 p.m. someone wished to provide information about an incident.

BOLINAS: At 6:31 p.m. a hiker was too exhausted to walk. 

WOODACRE: At 7:39 p.m. a man said strange people were in his house.

Sunday, March 13

STINSON BEACH: At 12:52 a.m. medics transported someone.

POINT REYES STATION: At 12:52 a.m. a woman was angry about loud music at the bar.

POINT REYES STATION: At 1:28 a.m. the woman complained about the music again.

POINT REYES STATION: At 4:28 a.m. the woman, upset about not receiving a call back about her noise complaint, said, “I’ve been nice, now I need to be mean.”

OLEMA: At 7:24 a.m. donkeys were loose in the boulevard.

POINT REYES STATION: At 10:03 a.m. a woman asked for help getting her car keys and car parts back from a mechanic in Humboldt County who had been calling her names by text and had written, “Good luck on getting your car parts and keys back.”

BOLINAS: At 10:11 a.m. a car drove into a ditch.

DILLON BEACH: At 1:46 p.m. someone called about serving a protective order during a custody exchange between a mother and a man who had attacked her.

STINSON BEACH: At 2:56 p.m. a phone line acted up in Seadrift.

OLEMA: At 5:14 p.m. a car was stalled in the highway.

HICKS VALLEY: At 6:18 p.m. teenagers were playing in the schoolhouse playground.

DILLON BEACH: At 7:55 p.m. a deputy patrolled the campground.

MUIR BEACH: At 9:13 p.m. someone heard shots.

OLEMA: At 9:22 p.m. campers were missing.

INVERNESS PARK: At 9:51 p.m. a neighbor was playing loud music.
