INVERNESS: At 8:14 a.m. someone reported a car burglary.

INVERNESS PARK: At 11:18 a.m. someone wished to turn in two guns.

BOLINAS: At 11:36 a.m. medics transported someone.

NICASIO: At 12:47 p.m. staff at Skywalker Ranch said a man who was banned from the property had shown up in a Lyft with a duffel bag. He said George Lucas had emailed him and he asked if he could enter. Staff said he left without incident.

POINT REYES STATION: At 4:32 p.m. a man said his wallet containing $1,100 in cash had been taken from his unlocked car while it was parked on A Street. 

Tuesday, January 31

POINT REYES STATION: At 8:57 a.m. someone asked for a welfare check on a woman who had come to town by bus.

BOLINAS: At 11:39 a.m. medics transported someone.

INVERNESS PARK: At 12:25 p.m. someone said a neighbor restrained from the caller by court order had tried to look in the caller’s window while he or she was taking a shower.

CHILENO VALLEY: At 1:43 p.m. an alarm sounded at the school.

BOLINAS: At 2:51 p.m. someone had questions about parking enforcement.

BOLINAS: At 4:21 p.m. someone reported seeing a driver drinking and swerving.

NICASIO: At 8:42 p.m. someone too scared to go outside and investigate said someone else kept turning on outdoor lights and leaving the water running.

POINT REYES STATION: At 9:47 p.m. someone reported smelling marijuana and cigarette smoke at the school.

Wednesday, February 1

BOLINAS: At 8:37 a.m. an aggressive hitchhiker was cussing and flipping off parents as they dropped their kids off at school.

POINT REYES STATION: At 11:28 a.m. a deputy signed off on a ticket.

BOLINAS: At 12:17 p.m. someone said a man parked at the end of Wharf Road had refused to move for the caller and flipped him or her off and was now hanging out with other “bad people” at the end of Brighton Avenue.

OLEMA: At 12:49 p.m. medics transported someone.

DILLON BEACH: At 4:29 p.m. a volunteer had recovered the body of the drowned kayaker.

POINT REYES STATION: At 6:02 p.m. someone heard a woman pounding and screaming for help inside an old white van covered in black duct tape that was driving slowly down the road behind the Palace Market.

WOODACRE: At 8:04 p.m. a man reported violent text threats.

FOREST KNOLLS: At 8:11 p.m. deputies were on the lookout for someone.

POINT REYES STATION: At 8:29 p.m. a parent said his or her live-in son had not returned from fishing on Tomales Bay.

BOLINAS: At 9:28 p.m. deputies moved along people camping in vehicles on Maple Road.

WOODACRE: At 10:16 p.m. someone approached a man in a car full of cardboard to ask if he was okay and he’d said, “Yeah, we are okay,” making the caller worry there was someone else in the car who may not be okay.

Thursday, February 2

INVERNESS: At 12:09 p.m. someone said a thin white man in a shiny white F-350 was driving slowly down Madrone, taking pictures of houses. The caller had asked him what he was doing and he’d been rude and mumbled that he was taking pictures for a “broker-lender.”

OLEMA: At 2:38 p.m. someone who has several abandoned vehicles on the property that belong to other people said deputies had given notice that they needed to be towed and the caller wanted to know if they could in fact be legally towed, given that the caller doesn’t own them.

INVERNESS PARK: At 4:57 p.m. a man said his neighbor was playing loud music, a violation of a restraining order.

INVERNESS PARK: At 5:55 p.m. deputies attempted to contact a victim.

FOREST KNOLLS: At 7:36 p.m. deputies attempted to serve a warrant, finding a neighbor who said the person’s house had burned down and the person hadn’t been around for years.

Friday, February 3

NICASIO: At 4:25 a.m. a deputy bent a rim on a patrol vehicle. It was towed.

BOLINAS: At 8:14 a.m. someone was worried about a family living in two vans parked at Poplar and Yucca Roads. A deputy said they were not violating laws and he would check on them later. 

OLEMA: At 12:58 p.m. someone wished to speak about a Platform Bridge property.

CHILENO VALLEY: At 12:58 p.m. a woman reported the theft of a Bingo money bag containing $5,000 in cash.

BOLINAS: At 1:02 p.m. someone needed a signature on a temporary liquor license.

FOREST KNOLLS: At 6:19 p.m. someone who had just moved into a new rental said they had parked in the wrong parking spot and angered the landlord, who had threatened to take all the tenants’ belongings and withhold their deposit. 

POINT REYES STATION: At 8:22 p.m. someone reported an aggressive, bearded driver.

BOLINAS: At 8:31 p.m. someone asked for a welfare check on a person with suicidal and homicidal thoughts.

FOREST KNOLLS: At 8:50 p.m. a woman reported a physical confrontation with her new tenants.

Saturday, February 4

INVERNESS PARK: At 6:22 a.m. someone called for medics.

TOMALES: At 7:42 a.m. deputies policed at the Cow Patty Pageant.

SAN GERONIMO: At 10:01 a.m. a white van was overheating.

WOODACRE: At 12:31 p.m. someone requested a welfare check.

BOLINAS: At 2:53 p.m. a barefoot person was acting erratic on Brighton. Medics transported.

HICKS VALLEY: At 3:30 p.m. a car drove off a road.

OLEMA: At 5:44 p.m. two calves were loose.

SAN GERONIMO: At 7:14 p.m. someone reported a medical emergency.

BOLINAS: At 7:36 p.m. someone reported an abandoned Chevy pickup on Poplar. Deputies arranged for a tow.

DILLON BEACH: At 9:14 p.m. a deputy patrolled the campground.

HICKS VALLEY: At 11:17 a.m. two cars were suspiciously parked at the school.

Sunday, February 5

POINT REYES STATION: At 12:45 p.m. a customer was being rude.

BOLINAS: At 4:25 p.m. a deputy was on Wharf Road.

SAN GERONIMO: At 5:42 p.m. medics placed someone on a mental health hold.

POINT REYES STATION: At 7:24 p.m. a deputy was in town.
