TOMALES: At 10:24 a.m. a seal was found on a roadside near a church. 

SAMUEL P. TAYLOR: At 11:35 a.m. a redwood had fallen into the boulevard.

STINSON BEACH: At noon a small branch had fallen into a road.

WOODACRE: At 1:27 p.m. a man called to talk about ongoing thefts. 

POINT REYES STATION: At 1:59 p.m. someone reported losing a sling bag.

POINT REYES STATION: At 2:57 p.m. a couple of horses were grazing on a roadside.

BOLINAS: At 5:14 p.m. someone reported a missing sibling.

STINSON BEACH: At 5:21 p.m. someone flagged down a deputy.

FOREST KNOLLS: At 9:32 p.m. a rehab patient had been plotting to kill himself.

BOLINAS: At 11 p.m. someone was worried that a friend had been assaulted.

Tuesday, January 14

WOODACRE: At 7:38 a.m. a neighbor reported a loud rooster and the smell of a dead body coming from the house where it lived. 

POINT REYES STATION: At 9:57 a.m. someone complained about a pickup parked on Second Street.

SEASHORE: At 11:46 a.m. someone said four U.C. Berkeley students who camped at Coast Camp for four days were supposed to return to school that morning but had not been seen or heard from.

BOLINAS: At 12:02 p.m. someone complained about a volatile man who was often in the park with an off-leash, aggressive dog.

BOLINAS: At 12:30 p.m. an Ocean Parkway resident saw a shirtless man with a Cybertruck pulling up plants and otherwise acting strangely.

POINT REYES STATION: At 12:32 p.m. a car crashed and was smoking.

POINT REYES STATION: At 12:35 p.m. someone wished to talk about a parent who was no longer authorized to pick up a child from preschool. 

POINT REYES STATION: At 1:41 p.m. someone wished to talk about code enforcement action on a vacant lot.

BOLINAS: At 2:53 p.m. someone reported suspected illegal construction at a property that the county had red-tagged in the past.

STINSON BEACH: At 3:19 p.m. a friend asked for a welfare check.

MUIR BEACH: At 3:37 p.m. someone wished to report a sexual assault. 

POINT REYES STATION: At 5:20 p.m. someone returned a call about a truck and trailer.

WOODACRE: At 7:07 p.m. a woman reported falling for a Craigslist rental scam.

STINSON BEACH: At 7:08 p.m. a vacation homeowner looking at video surveillance reported seeing a person walking a dog through the yard, and they wondered how common that sort of thing was and whether deputies could patrol the area more often.

SEASHORE: At 7:32 p.m. someone reported petty theft.

OLEMA: At 7:48 p.m. someone called on behalf of a friend to report domestic violence occurring on federal parkland.

Wednesday, January 15

STINSON BEACH: At 12:02 a.m. a deputy patrolled town.

POINT REYES STATION: At 8:05 a.m. a deputy patrolled the school.

INVERNESS PARK: At 12:41 p.m. a parent said their child had gotten on the school bus that morning but the school had called to say they had never arrived. (In fact, they had.)

INVERNESS PARK: At 4:10 p.m. the parent called back about the lack of communication around the whereabouts of their child.

STINSON BEACH: At 8:13 p.m. someone called for medics.

STINSON BEACH: At 9:22 p.m. someone who stopped near Red Rock Beach to talk to a couple in a minivan about spring water said the man had jumped into the van as if to hide, and deputies later noted that the woman had a warrant.

Thursday, January 16

BOLINAS: At 7:56 a.m. someone said a construction crew had returned after being shut down for having no permits, and they were starting work early in the morning with heavy equipment and dump trucks and parking illegally.

SEASHORE: At 8:31 a.m. someone reported finding a box of bullets.

INVERNESS PARK: At 10:08 a.m. a man called about deputies’ contact with his teenaged daughter.

STINSON BEACH: At noon a deputy talked with someone and closed a missing person’s case.

NICASIO: At 12:02 p.m. a car was parked in a no-parking zone.

SAN GERONIMO: At 12:45 p.m. an agitated man was walking in the boulevard.

BOLINAS: At 1:19 p.m. construction trucks were parked in a fire lane.

BOLINAS: At 1:58 p.m. a deputy marked downtown vehicles with removal warnings.

POINT REYES STATION: At 3:02 p.m. a woman said that yesterday a man had taken her vehicle over the hill to cash a paycheck, and she didn’t know where he was or if he was okay.

TOMALES: At 4 p.m. a neighbor reported an assault over a shared well.

STINSON BEACH: At 6:41 p.m. hikers needed a ride back to their car.

SAN GERONIMO: At 11:06 p.m. someone said they had gotten a call from a man who had disappeared with their car.

Friday, January 17

STINSON BEACH: At 12:23 p.m. a woman was swinging a walking stick and yelling about the water being angry at Red Rock Spring. Deputies sent the crisis unit. 

HICKS VALLEY: At 3:40 p.m. deputies towed a truck.

POINT REYES STATION: At 4:25 p.m. someone had found a shoulder bag in a garden.

MOUNT TAM: At 6:26 p.m. two lost hikers called for help from a roadside.

Saturday, January 18

TOMALES: At 7:15 a.m. deputies noted that a Middle Road resident would be burning piles for most of the day.

TOMALES: At 1:05 p.m. someone called to pass on information to a detective. 

FOREST KNOLLS: At 3:39 p.m. a woman who lives on a hilltop with a shared driveway said a homeless man was lying on the side of it, wrapped in a multicolored blanket. 

MOUNT TAM: At 6:13 p.m. medics transported someone.

STINSON BEACH: At 6:22 p.m. someone else called for medics.

BOLINAS: At 6:32 p.m. a brush pile was burning on Crescente Avenue.

MOUNT TAM: At 7 p.m. someone reported a car burglary and the theft of carwash tokens.

STINSON BEACH: At 7:19 p.m. someone smelled gas inside a house.

STINSON BEACH: At 7:31 p.m. someone needed medics.
