MUIR BEACH: At 3:32 p.m. a German shepherd and a Rhodesian ridgeback were running down the highway.
POINT REYES STATION: At 4:13 p.m. an employer said his or her employees had sent $1,500 to an unknown account after receiving an email that asked them to do so.
SEASHORE: At 5:24 p.m. a woman who got cold on a hike and turned back while her family kept going said her people still had not returned, two hours later.
OLEMA: At 5:51 p.m. a woman said her R.V. was stuck in the mud.

LAGUNITAS: At 8:12 a.m. a man said someone’s abandoned and damaged Prius had been further damaged by a vandal during the night.
POINT REYES STATION: At 8:13 a.m. someone wished to turn in a wallet.
WOODACRE: At 11:01 a.m. a woman said a debit card in her name had been mailed to another address.
MOUNT TAM: At 11:02 a.m. a stalled driver said AAA could not get a tow truck out.
LAGUNITAS: At 5:11 p.m. someone reported an abandoned and damaged black Cadillac.
INVERNESS PARK: At 6:59 p.m. a woman needed medics.
BOLINAS: At 8:06 p.m. fireworks were exploding.

INVERNESS: At 2 a.m. a man needed medics.
BOLINAS: At 1 p.m. a man was seen on a security camera walking up to someone’s front door. He tried to open it, then looked around and walked away.
POINT REYES STATION: At 1:45 p.m. a deputy signed off on a ticket.
POINT REYES STATION: At 3:32 p.m. a man reported disappearing mail.
POINT REYES STATION: At 3:43 p.m. the same man called again to explain that he shared a mailbox with a woman and feared she was taking his mail since he hadn’t received any for some unspecified amount of time.
CHILENO VALLEY: At 4:32 p.m. a woman with the newt brigade asked if deputies could be posted on the road while she ferried newts between 5 and 10 p.m. that night.
LAGUNITAS: At 7:51 p.m. a man said a damaged Prius had appeared on his property and he had no idea who it belonged to. Later, he said one of his tenants had told him that it belongs to a friend who was out of town and had asked to have it towed there after an accident.
BOLINAS: At 10:06 p.m. a deputy marked a Mercedes parked on Vine for abatement.

MUIR WOODS: At 8:40 a.m. large boulders were blocking the road, one the size of a refrigerator.
STINSON BEACH: At 9:38 a.m. a deputy attended a meeting at the fire station.
BOLINAS: At 10:15 a.m. a deputy met with Department of Public Works staff.
MARSHALL: At 10:38 a.m. a woman said someone had broken into her Chevy Volt overnight, leaving her belongings strewn inside and taking a few dollars in coins.
POINT REYES STATION: At 10:53 a.m. a woman reported leaving her black umbrella in the post office.
TOMALES: At 11:13 a.m. hay bales were smoking in the intermittent rain.
POINT REYES STATION: At 11:24 a.m. a man in a white van parked on the main drag was saying things to women as they passed by, someone reported.
MARSHALL: At 1:16 p.m. a woman said someone had broken into both of her vehicles, finding the keys to her Land Rover and home in her unlocked truck and taking them as well as her registration cards.
MUIR BEACH: At 3:27 p.m. a Prius drove off the highway and landed on its roof.
STINSON BEACH: At 5:40 p.m. a man said someone had stolen his crab traps and that every year he places new ones and every year they get stolen. This time, he put a G.P.S. tracker on them and said they were now in the Berkeley marina.
SAN GERONIMO: At 5:50 p.m. a car was parked near horses at a meditation center with all its doors open and no one around.
SAN GERONIMO: At 10:47 p.m. multiple callers reported hearing a loud boom, just like on previous nights for the past few weeks. One caller said that night’s boom was the biggest yet.
Friday, December 24
POINT REYES STATION: At 11:01 a.m. a dog was running loose.
INVERNESS PARK: At 1 p.m. a car medical alarm system sounded.
STINSON BEACH: At 5:49 p.m. a Jeep Commander rolled off a fire road and 600 feet down a cliff during an argument or altercation between its owner and a woman who said she’d honked at the owner, a man, before he approached her and left the car to roll unoccupied down the embankment. She said the man was beating on her car and she was scared.

POINT REYES STATION: At 8:04 a.m. deputies recorded an incident or issue with a patrol car.
NICASIO: At 8:48 a.m. deputies swapped out vehicles on the square.
SEASHORE: At 1:27 p.m. a deputy was at Drakes Beach.
Sunday, December 26
BOLINAS: At 8:45 a.m. a woman said a man who was protected from her by court order followed her everywhere and had been looking into her trailer. She wondered if she could get a restraining order against him.
WOODACRE: At 10:13 a.m. someone wished to surrender a firearm and a box of ammunition.
STINSON BEACH: At 10:30 a.m. a grease fire broke out at the Parkside.
MUIR BEACH: At 1:31 p.m. someone said a white Model 3 Tesla had hit the caller’s car and kept driving south.
POINT REYES STATION: At 1:51 p.m. deputies tried to get a tow for a patrol car, a Chevy Tahoe with transmission issues.
SAN GERONIMO: At 2:46 p.m. a man and woman with metal detectors were digging in the dirt along the creek. They told deputies they were looking for a lost ring.
POINT REYES STATION: At 3:23 p.m. a woman asked deputies for a welfare check on a longtime friend of hers who was not answering her calls. The man told deputies he was trying to avoid her.
POINT REYES STATION: At 9:11 p.m. a deputy patrolled the school grounds.
BOLINAS: At 9:26 p.m. a deputy patrolled downtown.
STINSON BEACH: At 10:33 p.m. a deputy patrolled at the beach.

POINT REYES STATION: At 8:13 a.m. a woman said a man with a large bag over his shoulder and two small dogs was cursing at passersby and had threatened to kick her. Deputies said the man was recently back in the area and was agitated but ultimately cooperative.
POINT REYES STATION: At 12:14 p.m. a deputy signed off on a citation.
INVERNESS PARK: At 12:56 p.m. someone wanted to talk about recent thefts of recycling cans and propane tanks and to request more sheriff presence in the neighborhood.
POINT REYES STATION: At 1:22 p.m. someone found a brown leather wallet belonging to a New Mexico woman.
OLEMA: At 3:06 p.m. a woman said her son went missing on a hike with friends and she was now looking for him with another mother.
MOUNT TAM: At 5:27 p.m. a woman who was hiking with two men and was not dressed for the weather needed medics on a trail.
NICASIO: At 8:27 p.m. a car was smoking after hitting a barrier. The driver was released at the scene.
