STINSON BEACH: At 1:02 p.m. a teenager said he had stolen a girl’s flip-flops and she hadn’t thought it was funny and attacked him with sandals. 

SAN GERONIMO: At 2:56 p.m. someone asked deputies to check on the woman protesting witchcraft at a hot intersection, where she was not in the shade of her umbrella.

MARSHALL: At 3:30 p.m. a woman feared that her ex might try to hurt her.

LAGUNITAS: At 9:46 p.m. a neighbor reported loud music.

NICASIO: At 11:21 p.m. people were sleeping in vehicles near the ballfield.

Tuesday, August 4

WOODACRE: At 1:42 a.m. someone was using power tools.

BOLINAS: At 7:49 a.m. a man in a cowboy hat and a flannel shirt was screaming and told the caller he was going to get him. Deputies arrested him.

POINT REYES STATION: At 9 a.m. someone had lost a small blue zipper pouch.

POINT REYES STATION: At 10:23 a.m. someone called about a donation of cheese.

BOLINAS: At 3:40 p.m. a woman returned home to find two glass sliding doors smashed. She later said it was likely a weed-whacking accident.

FOREST KNOLLS: At 11:06 p.m. someone parked in front of a driveway on a blind turn, got out and disappeared into a house.

Wednesday, August 5

INVERNESS PARK: At 1:32 a.m. someone reported passing a man in a pullout talking with another person, then returning 15 minutes later to see him slumped over his wheel and probably on drugs.

TOMALES: At 4:15 a.m. a mother called about a vehicle left after an arrest.

FOREST KNOLLS: At 8:31 a.m. a deputy looked for a box truck.

BOLINAS: At 10:38 a.m. a man said someone had stolen $28,000 from his credit union account, claiming they were with the bank. The bank had returned $21,000, he said. 

LAGUNITAS: At 10:53 a.m. someone asked for a welfare check on a child in a household with domestic violence; there, deputies found evidence of illicit drug manufacturing and arrested five people on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges after they scrambled to destroy evidence. The Humane Society took possession of two dogs and a large tortoise.

INVERNESS PARK: At 2:47 p.m. a man said an imposter had enlisted a real estate agent to sell a lot he owned.

POINT REYES STATION: At 4:28 p.m. someone saw a man climb through a boarded window in the Grandi Building, where another person was inside, holding the boards open. 

CHILENO VALLEY: At 6:44 p.m. a woman said an unknown man was on the school campus, sweeping and leaf blowing. Deputies noted he was cleaning up after a recent bike event left the facility in poor condition.

FOREST KNOLLS: At 7:50 p.m. a woman said she had tried to pick up her son from school and learned that the boy’s father had already gotten him, which she said violated a custody agreement.

POINT REYES STATION: At 9:16 p.m. someone said a stranger had accused them of stalking while they walked away from the gym. 

POINT REYES STATION: At 9:54 p.m. someone needed medics.

Thursday, August 6

POINT REYES STATION: At 8:15 a.m. someone wished to turn in lost property.

LAGUNITAS: At 8:44 a.m. a woman called about the drug bust.

POINT REYES STATION: At 10:03 a.m. someone flagged down a deputy.

POINT REYES STATION: At 10:30 a.m. someone else flagged down a deputy.

POINT REYES STATION: At 10:37 a.m. a deputy checked on an abandoned boat.

STINSON BEACH: At 11:04 a.m. a hiker was lost on a trail.

FOREST KNOLLS: At 11:09 a.m. someone who recently hired movers believed they had stolen a backpack containing $1,200 in cash and important documents.

POINT REYES STATION: At 12:08 p.m. a woman called about reporting an assault that had happened more than a decade ago at a home in Stinson Beach. 

STINSON BEACH: At 1:05 p.m. a woman had fallen on the Cataract Trail.

POINT REYES STATION: At 1:56 p.m. someone said they had been ticketed after forgetting to display their disabled placard.

BOLINAS: At 2:16 p.m. someone asked deputies to check on a friend. 

POINT REYES STATION: At 4:25 p.m. someone called about a case.

BOLINAS: At 5:49 p.m. a smoke alarm was sounding.

POINT REYES STATION: At 7:17 p.m. someone asked why deputies had been at their house.

LAGUNITAS: At 7:57 p.m. a badly wounded deer was seen near a creek bed.

LAGUNITAS: At 9:20 a.m. a man found a stranger sitting on the couch on his deck who said he was a friend of a former resident, though the caller had lived there for two years, and he described himself as a landscaper, though he had left on foot.

POINT REYES STATION: At 10:56 a.m. a woman said an unfamiliar tractor had appeared on her property, which backs up into open space, and it was in the way of planned tree work.

INVERNESS PARK: At 11:16 a.m. someone asked for a welfare check on someone reportedly having panic attacks and threatening people. 

INVERNESS PARK: At 1:31 p.m. a delivery driver reported finding a Las Vegas I.D.

LAGUNITAS: At 2:06 p.m. deputies notified a victim of an impending inmate release.

SEASHORE: At 2:29 p.m. a hiker accidentally placed an emergency call.

INVERNESS PARK: At 3:38 p.m. someone said they were chasing down a woman who had stolen their dogs.

OLEMA: At noon someone reported a speeding Tesla.

MOUNT TAM: At 12:52 p.m. a passerby reported people having sex in an Audi.

POINT REYES STATION: At 2:46 p.m. someone reported fraud.

INVERNESS PARK: At 3:39 p.m. motorcycles sped through town.

STINSON BEACH: At 3:54 p.m. someone found a gold chain they had reported as lost or stolen.

BOLINAS: At 6:21 p.m. someone looking at a security camera saw footage of a person taking something from their porch.

LAGUNITAS: At 8:11 p.m. dogs had been barking for an hour.

MUIR BEACH: At 9:56 p.m. someone needed medics.

NICASIO: At 10:32 p.m. someone said their neighbor kept flying a drone to their window.

LAGUNITAS: At 8:45 a.m. the Humane Society wondered who was responsible for a certain dog in their custody.

BOLINAS: At 9:36 a.m. a man said his children’s mother had not exchanged the kids on Friday, saying they were sick and not responding to him.

STINSON BEACH: At 12:49 p.m. a bicyclist and a driver collided on Panoramic.

LAGUNITAS: At 1:16 p.m. someone said a woman had interrupted mass to ask churchgoers for gift cards.

INVERNESS PARK: At 2:17 p.m. someone needed medics.

STINSON BEACH: At 2:38 p.m. a car was blocking someone’s driveway.

WOODACRE: At 2:49 p.m. someone reported a man on a trail in a black ski mask and with an axe wrapped in a sweatshirt under his arm.
