BOLINAS: At 1:41 p.m. someone was seen asleep or unconscious inside a dusty and idling car a couple miles up the ridge road.

WOODACRE: At 2:13 p.m. someone reported startling a man who had run into a truck.

POINT REYES STATION: At 2:58 p.m. a man was talking to himself and staring people down from under a pine tree behind the bank.

INVERNESS: At 4:38 p.m. a wallet and T-shirt were found in the playground.

OLEMA: At 6:28 p.m. a cow was walking north on the highway.

OLEMA: At 7:14 p.m. a motorcyclist crashed.

DILLON BEACH: At 8:34 p.m. a group of people on dirt bikes had threatened a worker.

BOLINAS: At 8:55 p.m. a man was dumping the contents of his truck in an alley.

OLEMA: At 10:15 a.m. a cow was walking along the highway.

TOMALES: At 11:48 a.m. someone found a stolen and stripped car on Twin Bridge Road.

BOLINAS: At 12:34 p.m. a cow was in the road near the Vedanta Retreat.

BOLINAS: At 1:29 p.m. a man said people had been prying wooden siding off the Waterhouse building and entering.

NICASIO: At 2:08 p.m. someone said a PODs company would not pick up a POD from a neighbor’s property without the renter’s consent, and the renter could not be reached.

WOODACRE: At 3:50 p.m. someone needed medics.

FOREST KNOLLS: At 4:57 p.m. someone had lost $600 in a Comcast phone scam.

TOMALES: At 10:59 p.m. a cow was on a roadside.

Tuesday, August 26

BOLINAS: At 5:42 a.m. someone needed medics.

BOLINAS: At 7:41 a.m. a deputy watched for speeding drivers.

FOREST KNOLLS: At 8:20 a.m. someone reported illegal dumping.

DILLON BEACH: At 9:02 a.m. a man wished to report an argument over his dog.

DILLON BEACH: At 12:28 p.m. someone asked for extra patrol of the beach parking lot after several men on dirt bikes had come down and done wheelies and kicked up a bunch of sand and one had gotten confrontational when told to stop.

POINT REYES STATION: At 1:02 p.m. communication wires had fallen onto a fence.

NICASIO: At 1:30 p.m. a trailer hitch had come unhitched and a woman was flagging down passersby.

BOLINAS: At 2:13 p.m. a man who had paid a $99 parking ticket said he subsequently received a correction letter saying he in fact owed $163 for parking in a fire lane. Deputies told him he could appeal it.

LAGUNITAS: At 5:57 p.m. a man said he had been woken up that morning by a person living in an illegal unit behind him who had been hysterical.

FOREST KNOLLS: At 8:23 p.m. a neighbor said a dog had been barking all day.

INVERNESS: At 9:15 p.m. a woman said she had been robbed.

Wednesday, August 27

INVERNESS: At 8:41 a.m. a deputy tried but failed to serve a warrant.

POINT REYES STATION: At 9:49 a.m. the school asked deputies to check on a student who had not come to class.

BOLINAS: At 1:26 p.m. a deputy patrolled Wharf Road.

INVERNESS: At 1:33 p.m. a deputy advised a citizen.

POINT REYES STATION: At 3:22 p.m. someone said a man had driven off the road on a turn, struck a tree, and the tree went through his windshield. His hand was bleeding and he smelled of alcohol and he fled on foot. 

STINSON BEACH: At 4:16 p.m. Los Altos police were searching for a suicidal person. 

LAGUNITAS: At 4:47 p.m. someone had rolled over in a car, been pulled out by a bystander and walked away.

BOLINAS: At 4:47 p.m. a truck pulling a trailer had driven into a ditch.

BOLINAS: At 4:50 p.m. someone reported a missing woman suspected of sleeping on a park bench in Oakland.

HICKS VALLEY: At 9:46 p.m. a cow was walking on Novato Boulevard.

INVERNESS PARK: At 10:35 p.m. someone needed medics.

BOLINAS: At 6:40 a.m. a woman called about restraining order paperwork.

TOMALES: At 7:23 a.m. authorities recovered a stolen vehicle.

TOMALES: At 7:57 a.m. a deputy patrolled at the high school.

STINSON BEACH: At 8:13 a.m. a deputy patrolled for speeders.

DILLON BEACH: At 9:11 a.m. a deputy patrolled the village.

BOLINAS: At 12:51 p.m. a landowner said people were camping on their lot.

MUIR WOODS: At 2:08 p.m. someone reported a dog in distress in a hot car.

STINSON BEACH: At 2:48 p.m. someone called for medics.

POINT REYES STATION: At 3:05 p.m. a woman came to collect her lost phone.

WOODACRE: At 8:19 p.m. a man called about parking issues with a neighbor.

WOODACRE: At 9:26 p.m. an automatic emergency text came in from Carson Road.

MARSHALL: At 9:39 p.m. someone said their daughter had seen an unfamiliar car parked at the entrance to their hayfield, something that sometimes happens during deer season when people poach deer in their fields.

OLEMA: At 11:54 p.m. a deputy patrolled town.

BOLINAS: At 8:50 a.m. a beachgoer was cussing at people while her snarling dog walked off leash.

MUIR BEACH: At 9:41 a.m. a car was reportedly poorly parked.

POINT REYES STATION: At 10:27 a.m. someone asked for a welfare check on an aggressive person.

BOLINAS: At 10:46 a.m. someone was yelling and threatening a family member.

LAGUNITAS: At 11:27 a.m. a woman wished to talk about a civil dispute.

CHILENO VALLEY: At 12:02 p.m. a suspicious man had been seen near recently burglarized mailboxes.

CHILENO VALLEY: At 1:35 p.m. a woman called about a $23 watch stolen from her mailbox.

POINT REYES STATION: At 2:34 p.m. a deputy checked the status of a homeless man.

FOREST KNOLLS: At 3:24 p.m. a man reported a Comcast scam.

LAGUNITAS: At 3:59 p.m. someone else reported credit card fraud.

STINSON BEACH: At 10:36 a.m. someone parked in handicapped parking said another car had parked so close they could not open their door.

POINT REYES STATION: At 10:46 a.m. someone reported a reckless tailgater.

NICASIO: At 12:09 p.m. medics assisted somebody.
