Bolinas-Stinson Union School District and its teachers union have reached an impasse after seven months of contract negotiations that yielded little movement toward an agreement. After the union rejected the district’s latest offer, a 4 percent raise, the California Public Employment Relations Board declared a deadlock and appointed a mediator. A second mediation session is scheduled for Oct. 28.
