The National Park Service is soliciting public comment on a proposed $2 fee increase for the winter shuttle that runs to the lighthouse, Chimney Rock and Drakes Beach in Point Reyes National Seashore. The fee is currently $5 round-trip; children under 16 ride free and discounts apply for seniors and disabled riders with passes. The hike would go into effect in December 2014.
