Papermill Creek Children’s Corner will begin its annual Fortnight of Feasts on Saturday, May 26. The series of fundraising events will support the nonprofit’s sliding scale scholarships. Director Judy Radiloff said Papermill strives to provide a reasonably priced, high-quality preschool and childcare, and many low and even middle-income families need the help. The Fortnight kicks off with Oysters on the Commons, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 26, followed by a showing of Pixar’s “Ratatouille” for Horizon Cable Family Movie Night at Toby’s Feed Barn at 6 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids, and includes popcorn. On May 27 are the Three Twins Ice Cream Social Sundae on the Dance Palace lawn from noon to 3 p.m., and the Mexican Kermes Festival at Toby’s. On June 5, guests can get all the raw and barbequed oysters they can eat—with an open wine bar—for $50 at the Fifth Annual Oyster Barbeque at the Marshall Store from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
