Two young men from Petaluma were literally stabbed in the back on Saturday evening at a chicken ranch northeast of downtown Tomales, in Chileno Valley. The men, both in their early 20s, were treated and released from the hospital. According to Lt. Jamie Scardina with the Marin County Sheriff’s Office, a group of three ranch workers were involved in a disagreement when one of them “came up from behind and stabbed the two others.” He could not say whether drugs or alcohol were involved in the altercation. The ranch owner told sheriffs he would call if the suspect returned to the ranch the next day, but he did not show up for work in the morning. The suspect is still at large.
