Marin County Children and Family Services is looking for loving foster and foster-adopt families to provide temporary and permanent homes for children and youth. Adults of all ages, ethnic backgrounds and any sexual orientation are encouraged to apply, and families of all compositions are needed. Interested persons may attend an orientation on Wednesday, May 23 or Thursday, June 21 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at 3240 Kerner Blvd, Room 110 in San Rafael. A social worker and an experienced foster parent will discuss the opportunities as well as the training and financial support available to foster parents.
