SEASHORE: This weekend marks the start of winter shuttle service in the Point Reyes National Seashore, with buses leaving from Drakes Beach (above) to the Chimney Rock Overlook, where elephant seal docents will be present, and to the lighthouse for those hoping to glimpse the migration of gray whales. Docents will be there, too, and a ranger will give a talk at 1:30 p.m. on weekend days.
