TOCALOMA: The demolition of more than a dozen homes and other structures in the former towns of Tocaloma and Jewell began this week. It’s part of a collaboration between the Point Reyes National Seashore and the Salmon Protection and Watershed Network to “restore the floodplain and habitat back to its natural state,” according to the nonprofit.
