Supervisor Dennis Rodoni and his aide Lorenzo Cordova read from the english and spanish versions of “Quackers” to the Papermill Creek Children’s Corner Preschool last Thursday. After the story, Rodoni and Bonny White, of the Marin County Free Library, handed out copies to the children, in the language of their choice. The reading is part of a national campaign to improve literacy, in which 2 million people read the same book on the same day.   David Briggs
