LAND STEWARDS: Bolinas shepherdess and entrepreneur Brittany Cole Bush spoke about her efforts to create work that is environmentally friendly, satisfying to the soul and profitable at a benefit and “walking buffet” at the Peace Barn on Sunday. Proceeds from the event will help her establish a herd that she will use to promote biodiversity and manage fire fuels on public lands. Her remarks were followed by talks by Rebecca Burgess, founder of a “fibershed” network, and farmer and author Joel Salatin, whom Ms. Bush called “environmental doctors.”
