Last week's storm led two roads to give way in the Point Reyes National Seashore. On Mount Vision Road, pictured above, soil liquified and flowed down the hill to meet another section of the road, where it continued flowing. That road is closed to the public indefinitely. The other collapse, at the end of Pierce Point Road, has closed the McClures Beach parking lot for the foreseeable future, though parking is available a short hike away at Pierce Point Ranch.   David Briggs
