First graders from the Inverness School this week performed an adaptation of “The Story Book Prince,” which tells how a kingdom worked together to make a prince—in this case, it was a princess—fall asleep, kicking off the Marin County Free Library’s summer reading program. (The trick lay in reading her a book.) “Paws to Read” is the theme of this year’s program, which will present dozens of programs for children, teens and adults.
