MUSIC: It was a somnolent start to a small show opened by Santiparro, a husband and wife duo whose first chant was accompanied by a smudging, on Sunday evening at the Gospel Flat Farm Stand in Bolinas. What followed—Mariee Souix’s acoustic guitar, faintly raspy voice, maternal aura and winding, storytelling lyrics—brought energy to the evening and to the audience. But in the end, her songs were enough like lullabies to calm the two Border Collies and the farmers’ children—sort of.
