SEASHORE: On Tuesday, goats from Tracy, Calif. began grazing on 12 overgrown acres at D Ranch, where invasives that cows willl not eat—radish, poison hemlock, thistle—are choking defunct ranch lands. The goats will graze for about two weeks; then the Point Reyes National Seashore, which brought in the animals, will assess how effectively the animals can curb the invasive plants’ growth.
