NICASIO: The county is cutting down 11 large eucalyptus trees on Nicasio Valley Road near Lucas Valley Road, at a cost of about $130,000. After concerns were raised by residents, an arborist inspected the trees at the county’s request and deemed many in the stand a public health hazard. Taking the down the trees and grinding the stumps will take another couple of weeks.
