Derelict boat sinks in Tomales Bay

Avatar by David Briggs September 16, 2021
The Marian, a 33-foot wooden fishing vessel, sank off the eastern shore of Tomales Bay on Monday night after being anchored around the area for two years. Oil sheen was observed drifting from the wreckage on Tuesday, and oil spill responders laid boom that night. On Wednesday, the Coast Gaurd set about lifting the boat with a plan to tow it to shore. - Photo by David Briggs
