Covid restrictions lifted.

California lifted its mask mandate for vaccinated people on Tuesday, but most shoppers in Point Reyes Station are still wearing their masks. People say they don them out of habit, because doing so is not a burden or because of social etiquette, and some shops posted signs that encourage mask-wearing. West Marin recorded just two cases of Covid-19 in the past month, and no one in Marin is hospitalized with the virus for the first time in over a year.   David Briggs
