GETTING READY FOR THE 2016 HALLOWEEN CARNIVAL — GUS THE DESERT TORTOISE VISITS PAPERMILL CREEK CHILDREN’S CORNER

Papermill started as The Inverness Play Group and Homestart in the early 1970s in Olema; in the late 1980s it merged into Papermill Creek Children’s Corner. In 1991, as part of a collaboration with the Dance Palace, which provided the land, the preschool found a permanent home. The Halloween Carnival, an annual event for over 20 years, will be held for its second year at the Dance Palace on Saturday, Oct. 30, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
