POINT REYES STATION: At 12:33 p.m. someone reported losing a brown leather wallet.
BOLINAS: At 2:55 p.m. someone said people were parked in fire lanes all over town.
MUIR BEACH: At 5:31 p.m. someone reported a mile of double-parked cars.
Monday, November 3
STINSON BEACH: At 8:23 a.m. a gold-and-silver cameo necklace had been lost at a trailhead.
WOODACRE: At 11:28 a.m. an equestrian said drivers were increasingly honking at her horses, causing them to spook.
BOLINAS: At 11:30 a.m. a man said that someone in an R.V. had nearly run him and his wife off the road during their morning walk.
STINSON BEACH: At 11:43 a.m. a phone line acted up.
MARSHALL: At 1:36 p.m. a deputy patrolled the area.
WOODACRE: At 3:12 p.m. a resident returned to their Sylvan Way home to find money, a passport and possibly a birth certificate stolen through an unlatched back door.
POINT REYES STATION: At 4:18 p.m. someone needed medics.
DOGTOWN: At 7:28 p.m. something was blocking a lane.
BOLINAS: At 11:37 p.m. a deputy patrolled downtown.
Tuesday, November 4
LAGUNITAS: At 7:33 a.m. a man said he had sold a vehicle to someone who never filed the paperwork with the D.M.V. and now he was getting notices that it had been impounded.
SAN GERONIMO: At 8:34 a.m. a principal reported a threatening exchange between two middle schoolers.
FOREST KNOLLS: At 9:18 a.m. a woman called to apologize about her barking dogs, saying they were supposed to have been brought inside but her kids forgot.
BOLINAS: At 10:37 a.m. a deputy marked a box van for removal.
WOODACRE: At 10:47 a.m. another deputy marked an abandoned boat and trailer.
STINSON BEACH: At 11:23 a.m. someone needed medical attention.
FOREST KNOLLS: At 12:01 p.m. a woman called to say she was having phone issues and could only dial 911.
SAMUEL P. TAYLOR: At 12:33 p.m. a deputy noted pile burns involving incinerator drums that might smoke through the night.
SAN GERONIMO: At 1:31 p.m. a deputy noted trash along the creek.
BOLINAS: At 1:58 p.m. a man said that his neighbor had entered his front door the night before, walked into his roommate’s room, yelled and taken his dog, which the neighbor said had been barking. He later chased her through town—she was going 70 mph—until he cornered her and got the dog out, while she punched the dog and him in the face. Deputies later arrested her.
MOUNT TAM: At 4:37 p.m. a car drove into a ditch off Panoramic.
POINT REYES STATION: At 4:45 p.m. a deputy participated in a career explorations project.
WOODACRE: At 7:06 p.m. a deer was dead on one side or another of White’s Hill.
BOLINAS: At 10:43 p.m. a deputy notified someone of an inmate release.
Wednesday, November 5
NICASIO: At 3:41 a.m. a transformer sparked.
SEASHORE: At 5:28 a.m. a phone line acted up.
SAN GERONIMO: At 8:39 a.m. a deputy conducted a restorative justice circle.
BOLINAS: At 9:10 a.m. people had been parking overnight in no-parking zones.
POINT REYES STATION: At 9:10 a.m. someone wanted to get their bike back from deputies.
POINT REYES STATION: At 9:33 a.m. a deputy arranged to have radios worked on at the substation.
BOLINAS: At 9:44 a.m. someone had questions about a parking citation.
POINT REYES STATION: At 10:47 a.m. someone called about harassment by their brother’s girlfriend over a will.
STINSON BEACH: At 12:01 p.m. a car drove off the highway and landed on its roof in the lagoon.
WOODACRE: At 1:46 p.m. a woman called before her husband could call in relation to inadvertent contact on a stairway that deputies would later determine wasn’t domestic violence.
NICASIO: At 2:56 p.m. someone said a speed radar trailer was saying the speed limit was 55 mph in an area where it was actually 35 mph.
POINT REYES STATION: At 3:05 p.m. a $20 bill had been stolen from someone’s home.
FOREST KNOLLS: At 4:42 p.m. someone called for medics.
DILLON BEACH: At 8:29 p.m. someone else called for medics.
NICASIO: At 8:37 p.m. someone reported a car off the road.
INVERNESS PARK: At 10:38 p.m. someone reported a propane smell and later found an oak tree had fallen into a gas line.
FOREST KNOLLS: At 11:43 p.m. someone had died.
Thursday, November 6
FOREST KNOLLS: At 4:44 a.m. a woman called back about her deceased father.
TOMALES: At 7:43 a.m. school staff accidentally set off an alarm.
NICASIO: At 8:50 a.m. a woman was concerned about her little brother, who lives with other family members. Deputies spoke with the child’s school, where staff said he attended daily, was clean and well fed and engaged with activities and programs.
POINT REYES STATION: At 12:37 p.m. someone called about a case.
NICASIO: At 2:28 p.m. someone needed medics.
LAGUNITAS: At 2:38 p.m. a man reported barking dogs but later said they had quieted down.
FOREST KNOLLS: At 4:21 p.m. a woman reported an incident of domestic violence the night before by a man on probation. Deputies found him and arrested him.
INVERNESS PARK: At 4:20 p.m. a man said his car had broken down and wanted to know if he could leave it at White House Pool for a while.
FOREST KNOLLS: At 8:10 p.m. a man said the mother of his child had been in a domestic violence incident with her current boyfriend and was out of touch with the father of another one of her children, who had his own child and the caller’s child.
HICKS VALLEY: At 8:27 p.m. a car drove off the road.
POINT REYES STATION: At 9:35 p.m. someone called about a debt.
Friday, November 7
POINT REYES STATION: At 7:29 a.m. someone said a large trailer with three dogs inside was blocking open space access and breaking parking rules.
FOREST KNOLLS: At 8:30 a.m. someone called about a case.
POINT REYES STATION: At 1:29 p.m. someone called about a Facebook post before disconnecting.
POINT REYES STATION: At 2:13 p.m. someone called about a camper moving around the area and perhaps involved in drug activity.
SEASHORE: At 2:25 p.m. two women had overturned in their kayaks at the mouth of Drakes Estero about 100 meters from shore. They were wearing life jackets and raincoats, and they made it back into their kayaks, but they were filled with water and caught in a current and rangers onshore lost sight of them in the fog. The Coast Guard later rescued them.
WOODACRE: At 2:42 p.m. a deputy had an abandoned boat and trailer towed.
SEASHORE: At 4:56 p.m. a car had broken down on Marshall Beach Road.
HICKS VALLEY: At 5:55 p.m. two black cows were heading west toward the coast.
OLEMA: At 8:37 p.m. a new driver stalled while learning a manual transmission.
WOODACRE: At 9:16 p.m. a mother said her neighbor often drove while high on marijuana.
BOLINAS: At 10:26 p.m. a deputy moved along a man living in a box van.
SEASHORE: At 10:32 p.m. someone needed medics.
