Myrka Perez (center), a seventh grader at Lagunitas Middle School, explained the inspiration for “Agua Public” last Sunday. The water fountain was a collaboration between Ms. Perez and Izzi Lipari-Maxson (far left), Freia Daunell (second from left), and Kaitlyn Signor (not pictured) for a seventh-grade social studies project about the role that monuments play in society. The class’s monuments are on display at Central Park in Woodacre through Saturday.
