Conversations about child care start in West Marin

CHILD CARE: Barbara Clifton Zarate (left), of the Marin Community Foundation, introduced the first of what will be many meetings of child care providers on how to improve child care in West Marin, during a Tuesday meeting at the Dance Palace. Some suggested that better access to food through school gardens, more exercise, and care during unconventional hours should be available. But most agreed that any solution requires significantly more funding.
