POINT REYES STATION - A senior citizen tied up his small dog while at the Farmer's Market, only to have a big dog attack it. Bystanders broke up the dogfight, but by then the small dog was tangled in its leash. When one of the bystanders tried to untangle the dog, its owner body-slammed her, she told deputies. The woman declined to press charges but said she doesn't want it to happen again.
POINT REYES STATION - A vandal broke the lock to a door and spray-painted the door black.
NICASIO - A Nicasio Valley Road woman reported that while she was on vacation, a thief stole mail from her mailbox.
POINT REYES STATION - A merchant reported three dumpsters had been "tagged" with graffiti. Fingerprints were taken. Deputies noted the tagging was similar to tags elsewhere on Mesa Road and on Shell Beach.
INVERNESS - A woman was cited for living in a vehicle parked behind a business.
NICASIO - A man who lives along Los Pi–os reported his mail had been stolen.
POINT REYES STATION - A restaurant worker reported someone had stolen $400 from her purse.
DOGTOWN - A 13-year-old boy was taken to Juvenile Hall after he tried to punch a school counselor.
BOLINAS - A man was detained on Olema-Bolinas Road for drug evaluation and then released.
POINT REYES STATION - A 29-year-old woman called a professional office and made threats because she was unhappy with her bill.
TOMALES - After a father hit his son's buttocks hard enough to leave marks, a deputy took a report for juvenile authorities.
BOLINAS - Deputies received a report of two people yelling at a business' employee. An officer later reported the problem had been abated.
SAN GERONIMO - A Sir Francis Drake Boulevard resident reported a 15-year-old son missing.
SAN GERONIMO - A motorist reported that her car was struck by another vehicle, which was backing up in a parking lot. A deputy gave her advice.
BOLINAS - A Brighton Avenue resident complained about a man camping on a seawall. A deputy moved the man along.
WOODACRE - A Castle Rock resident complained about a loud band. When a deputy contacted the man responsible, he agreed to turn down the music. He also asked the officer to give the resident the man's phone number in case there were further problems.
NATIONAL SEASHORE - A man was jailed on charges of public drunkenness, and his vehicle was impounded.
LAGUNITAS - A Sir Francis Drake Boulevard resident, upset with a man he considered a troublesome trespasser, kicked the man. Deputies determined the second man is deaf and mute.
STINSON BEACH - Deputies broke up a shoving match on Arenal Avenue.
BOLINAS - A father and son had a physical fight. In the fight, the son was cut by a knife - possibly by accident, a deputy noted.
BOLINAS - A 13-year-old was reported missing by his parents. He returned the next day, saying he had spent a night at a friend's house. He was cited to juvenile authorities.
WOODACRE - A Fern Avenue woman told deputies someone shot her cat with a BB. The cat was still alive but at a veterinarian's office, she added.
FOREST KNOLLS - A man at Morelos and Resaca avenues complained at 7:45 p.m. about loud music in the neighborhood. Deputies contacted a Resaca Avenue woman, who agreed to turn the music down.
FOREST KNOLLS - A resident told deputies he had lent a computer to an associate, who was now refusing to return it. An officer gave him advice.
BOLINAS - A woman complained about people yelling on Wharf Road at 3:50 a.m. All was quiet when a deputy arrived.
SAMUEL TAYLOR PARK - A boyfriend and girlfriend got into a loud quarrel, but neither struck the other.
BOLINAS - A man at 4:40 a.m. reported his son, 27, had severely cut his hand and needed assistance.
STINSON BEACH - Deputies at 9:30 p.m. dispersed 10 juveniles who had built a bonfire on Seadrift Beach.
NICASIO - A Nicasio Valley Road woman reported a thief stole mail from her mailbox.
MARSHALL - Deputies at 12:50 a.m. received a complaint about loud fishermen with a bonfire. Officers abated the noise and had the fishermen put out their fire.
BOLINAS - A woman at 3:20 a.m. complained of loud jazz at Elm and Maple roads. The disturbance was abated before a deputy arrived.
BOLINAS - Firefighters shortly after 8 p.m. put out a small fire at a Fern Road home. Firefighters said a cigarette set siding on fire, causing $200 damage.
WOODACRE - A man said he had paid cash for a car, but the seller wouldn't release it to him. A deputy helped resolve the dispute.
LAGUNITAS - A woman told deputies her daughter and son-in-law were having a loud quarrel. She noted the daughter was moving.
DILLON BEACH - Juveniles stole several bundles of shingles from a construction site in Oceana Marin subdivision. A deputy could not find the juveniles, but he did recover the shingles.
BOLINAS - A woman reported that a girl, 14, was refusing to leave a friend's house and go home with her mother. Deputies noted the girl was not causing a disturbance, just refusing to go home. Other family members then intervened and said they could handle the problem.
STINSON BEACH - Deputies at 11:20 p.m. received a complaint of juveniles drinking beer beside Highway 1 and urinating in a parking lot. An officer could not find them.
POINT REYES STATION - A burglar removed a window to enter a shop and steal $98 from a merchant's cashbox.
INVERNESS - A nighttime vandal removed labels from some mailboxes in the postoffice, spread debris around the lobby and parking lot, and urinated in the lobby.
NICASIO - A thief stole mail, including a check, from a man's mailbox. The man had the check canceled.
TOMALES - High school seniors were caught spreading toilet paper and shaving cream as part of a prank. They agreed to return to the campus and clean up the mess.
INVERNESS - A vandal broke three lightbulbs outside a restaurant and two outside the postoffice.
BOLINAS - A vandal cut a farmer's drip-irrigation lines in several places, doing $200 in damage.
INVERNESS - A vandal spread debris around behind a store and shot a BB through a front window. In a separate incident, the store reported a vandal had smashed a window and had torn down signs.
STINSON BEACH - A researcher reported his backpack, which contained field data and bird-monitoring equipment, had been lost or stolen.
FOREST KNOLLS - A man said he wanted to talk with a deputy about "things happening on Rosario Road" but wouldn't provide further information. An officer gave him advice.
INVERNESS - A resident at 9:20 complained about loud music. A deputy checked and reported the problem had been abated; it was just a neighbor doing her exercises to music.
CHILENO VALLEY - County firefighters reported loose cows on Wilson Hill Road, but they were gone when a deputy arrived.
LAGUNITAS - A woman complained of receiving annoying calls from a man for the last few weeks.
SAN GERONIMO - A Tamarack Drive resident reported a burglar had bent a screen to enter her house and steal a jewelry box.
NICASIO - An Indian Hill Road resident complained that two juveniles about 12 years old were hunting with rifles near her property. A deputy contacted the juveniles and warned them about shooting near residences.
BOLINAS - A resident complained that a group of juveniles on Wharf Road were throwing rocks at his windows.
CHILENO VALLEY - A white Chevy Blazer occupied by a woman and children "yelling and screaming" knocked down a rancher's fence. The vehicle then did a U-turn and sped away, the rancher's wife reported.
OLEMA - A merchant complained of an old car blocking a business entrance. A deputy determined there was a landlord-tenant dispute and gave advice.
LAGUNITAS - A vandal broke the driver's side rear window of a car parked on East Cintura Avenue.
NATIONAL SEASHORE - A deputy, rangers, and paramedics went to the aid of a sick man, who after vomiting needed an oxygen tank.
NATIONAL SEASHORE - Deputies received a report of a loose cow on a roadway. Officers contacted the owner, who said he would get the cow back in its pasture.
TOMALES - Deputies received a report of a dead deer on a blind curve of the Tomales-Petaluma Road at Twin Bridge Road. The Highway Patrol was asked to handle the matter.
LAGUNITAS - A woman at 1 a.m. reported that her husband, who has a mental condition, had tried to stab her while she was sleeping.
LAGUNITAS - A man said he felt threatened by a second man, who had been kicked out of Samuel P. Taylor State Park but had returned.
INVERNESS - A resident complained that five juveniles and possibly one adult were drinking on Laurel Avenue. A deputy, however, determined the juveniles had left and that they hadn't been drinking.
FOREST KNOLLS - A woman on Castro Street reported a tree was dangling over the road. Deputies asked the county Department of Public Works and PG&E to respond.
BOLINAS - A man on Wharf Road told deputies he had received phone threats from the secretary-treasurer of a union local in Santa Rosa.
TOMALES - A small Cypress tree fell on Cereni Road. Firefighters cut it up.
MARSHALL - The Coast Guard at 11 p.m. reported it would rescue people stranded on the Inverness shore.
DILLON BEACH - A woman, who had been drinking, complained hysterically that her husband wouldn't leave her alone. Deputies reported the husband was not present, she was not hurt, and she was uncooperative.
INVERNESS - A man told deputies he had received a call from a family friend who said she was having trouble with her teenage son. The man offered to come over and help, but the son got on the line and threatened him if he did, the man said.
FOREST KNOLLS - A woman called deputies for a ride to a hospital so she could fill a prescription. She was gone when an officer arrived.
NICASIO - A woman complained that her roommate's ex-boyfriend was trespassing on their property. A deputy later reported the woman was wrong and that the person on the property was her roommate.
SAN GERONIMO - A nighttime vandal spray painted graffiti on a car parked along Meadow Way.
POINT REYES STATION - A woman reported that a pickup truck with two occupants had knocked over a stop sign at B Street and Highway 1. A deputy contacted one of the occupants, who said Caltrans did it.
MARSHALL - A tenant on property owned by four people said one of them had served her with an eviction notice. She said she fears the person has made keys to her residence. A deputy gave her advice.
BOLINAS - A man complained at 10 p.m. of a group of juveniles holding a bonfire on the beach. A deputy later reported the fire had been put out and the juveniles escorted to a home on Brighton Avenue.
LAGUNITAS - An East Cintura Avenue man complained at 11 p.m. of juveniles partying on the street. A deputy found the juveniles and told them to move on.
NICASIO - A Lucas Valley Road man at 4:40 a.m. reported hearing a loud animal grumbling "like something out of Jurassic Park." A deputy checked and concluded the noise was, in fact, probably made by an animal.
BOLINAS - A man complained of a large fire on Brighton Beach. Deputies dispersed more than 50 juveniles and had several fires extinguished.
DILLON BEACH - A man and wife asked for extra patrols around their house because a process server has been hanging out in their neighborhood, trying to serve them.
MARSHALL - Deputies received a report of a loose cow on Highway 1 but couldn't find it.
STINSON BEACH - A woman complained that a second woman is living in a vehicle on Calle del Mar. The first woman said that when she asked the second woman to leave, the second woman threw rocks at her. The caller asked for extra patrols in the area.
BOLINAS - A resident reported that a man had been storing property at the resident's house and was supposed to pick it up and leave. But the man, who had been drinking, was refusing to leave and making threatening statements, the resident said. He added that the man had only a bicycle for transportation.
DILLON BEACH - A bull got loose on Valley Ford-Franklin School Road. Its owner and a deputy got the bull back in its pasture.
BOLINAS -Deputies received a complaint that a man was causing a disturbance by yelling on Wharf Road at 8:30 p.m. An officer contacted the man and learned he was upset because someone had told him to turn his music down. The deputy arrested him on two outstanding warrants.
BOLINAS - A deputy arrested a 16-year-old boy on charges he stole checks from his foster mother and cashed them in stores downtown.
STINSON BEACH - After a homeless man took several items from a vehicle parked on Seadrift Road, he was arrested at the scene on charges of burglarizing a vehicle.
POINT REYES STATION - A man was arrested outside a bar for public drunkenness during Western Weekend. He was later released without being formally charged.
BOLINAS - Following a crash near the Bolinas Wye, a deputy detained the driver so a Highway Patrolman could evaluate his sobriety.
NATIONAL SEASHORE - A thief stole a man's 21-speed mountain bicycle at the Bear Valley parking lot.
BOLINAS - A vandal stuck gum in the door lock of a man's car and stole its Honda emblem.
POINT REYES STATION - A woman struck a man when they got into a fight, but he refused to press charges.
BOLINAS - A deputy stopped a motorist for speeding at Mesa and Evergreen roads. He then turned the motorist over to the Highway Patrol for a sobriety evaluation and was subsequently arrested.
POINT REYES STATION - A burglar broke a window at the school to enter the student store. The loss is so far undetermined.
OLEMA - A thief stole an 18-speed bicycle at a campground.
BOLINAS - A vandal drove his vehicle through a locked gate at a radio-transmission site on Mesa Road. A deputy arrested the man on charges of vandalism, as well as on three warrants.
DILLON BEACH - County firefighters asked a deputy to notify a man working at a project on Park Avenue that the man's wife had gone into labor.
FOREST KNOLLS - A woman living on Forest Drive at 11:20 p.m. reported noises in her backyard and on the roof, along with an "awful" smell.
MARSHALL - A man living on a boat said a merchant had been verbally abusive to her and that he wanted to file a complaint. However, before a deputy arrived, the dispute had been settled.
MARSHALL - A thief stole $850 from the cashbox of a dairy ranch.
LAGUNITAS - A resident on Mountain View Avenue complained about a man camping on the resident's property. The resident said he had asked the man to leave but spotted him the next morning peering into the resident's truck. The man was last seen heading toward a church.
INVERNESS - A woman told deputies that a five-month-old baby in a parked vehicle was unconscious. Medics and a helicopter rushed to the scene, only to find the baby had been sleeping.
STINSON BEACH - A man found clothing on the beach.
BOLINAS - A woman reported the windshield of a business' truck had been smashed.
POINT REYES STATION - Deputies spotted motorcycles parked on downtown sidewalks before the Western Weekend parade and asked volunteers to have them moved.
INVERNESS - A man complained of bonfires and a large gathering of juveniles on Shell Beach at 11 p.m. A deputy cited a Point Reyes Station youth on charges of illegal camping.
POINT REYES STATION - A woman reported that someone had broken a window at her house, apparently during an attempted burglary, but took nothing.
DILLON BEACH - A man complained about a parked vehicle blocking a driveway. It was gone by the time a deputy arrived.
DILLON BEACH - Deputies received a report of several juveniles causing a verbal disturbance. When a man from a campground asked them to move, a girl began arguing with him and threatened him. The man then decided to evict the group. The juveniles left after a deputy arrived.
INVERNESS - An East Marin man reported his wife had just told him she was raped in town the previous day. She would not provide other details.
BOLINAS - A woman complained of seven or eight juveniles playing loud music on Wharf Road at 3:30 a.m. She said she could hear them talking about Uzi and AK 47 automatic rifles. A deputy contacted the juveniles, who agreed to turn off their music.
BOLINAS - A resident reported a man has been sleeping in a shed on Dogwood Road. The man can be violent, the resident said, but he was not presently in the shed.
DILLON BEACH - A deputy took a keg of beer from juveniles on Marine View Drive.
OLEMA - A woman was driving slowly at the foot of Olema Hill because she was pulling a trailer. Without invitation, a man in his 30s with blood on his face jumped into her truck. He did not take anything, threaten her, or hit her, she told deputies. When she reached Lagunitas, he got out of her truck - this time after she stopped.
POINT REYES STATION - A bicycle was stolen along Highway 1.
STINSON BEACH - A man reported three juveniles had taken someone's wheeled trash cans and were riding down Calle del Mar at 11:30 p.m.
BOLINAS - A man, who had been jailed on trespassing charges two week ago after an innkeeper made a citizen's arrest, complained he now cannot contact the innkeeper to get his belongings back.
POINT REYES STATION - A boy called 911 after his parents got into a physical fight. Neither parent was injured, and the woman told deputies she had struck her husband in self-defense.
FOREST KNOLLS - A burglar stole change from the glovebox of a vehicle parked on Montezuma Avenue.
LAGUNITAS - A man reported giving a ride to a woman in her 50s who was so disoriented she could hardly get into his car.
POINT REYES STATION - A man complained of having several bicycles stolen from him in the past week.
BOLINAS - A man on Brighton Avenue reported his car has been vandalized several times in the last two weeks.
LAGUNITAS - Deputies received a complaint of several juveniles drinking and making noise along Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. A state park ranger abated the problem.
NICASIO - After garbage was found dumped on Nicasio Valley Road, it was traced to a Bolinas man through pay stubs in the debris. After a deputy contacted him, he agreed to clean up the mess.
POINT REYES STATION - A resident found a man in his 20s in the resident's house. The man said he was a friend of the resident's brother and left. The resident told deputies he knows his brother's friends, and the man is not one of them. He said the man entered the house through a window.
BOLINAS - A Horseshoe Hill Road man reported someone shot a pellet through his sunroom window.
BOLINAS - Another Horseshoe Hill Road man reported vandalism to his garden trellis and a sprinkler head. A deputy reported there appears to be a neighborhood dispute.
STINSON BEACH - A thief stole tools from a man on Dipsea Road.
CHILENO VALLEY - A woman reported two carloads of girl-gang members with weapons were trying to beat up her daughter following a fight two weeks ago. A West Marin sheriff's deputy determined the latest altercation was only verbal and occurred more than a quarter of a mile inside Sonoma County. Sonoma County deputies, however, refused to respond, claiming the incident was in Marin County.
POINT REYES STATION - A woman found a German tourist's wallet near the Grandi Building and turned it over to deputies.
POINT REYES STATION - A vandal broke a window over the school's entrance.
FOREST KNOLLS - A resident complained about a man yelling at someone. A deputy later reported the problem had been abated.
LAGUNITAS - Deputies received a report of two vehicles carrying four boys trying to run vehicles off Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. An officer could not find them.
INVERNESS - The principal reported someone had started a fire in the schoolyard and smeared feces on a wall. Later, a woman called deputies to say the boy who did it was riding a bicycle downtown. A deputy could not find him.
TOMALES - A woman reported that when she called a volunteer firefighter, a dog answered. She said she called again, and a different dog answered. The woman said she was concerned about the well being of the firefighter, 50. Other firefighters then checked on him and found he was fine.
SAN GERONIMO - A man reported that a woman, 50, was depressed and suicidal. A deputy checked on her and found her uncooperative.
SAN GERONIMO - A woman reported a man and woman were screaming at each other along Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. They were gone when a deputy arrived.
BOLINAS - The conservator of property complained that a tenant had given permission to a third person to park a van on the property and use utilities from the house. A deputy gave the conservator advice.
BOLINAS - A man asked a deputy about county fireworks laws and how they can be enforced in town. The officer gave him advice.
POINT REYES STATION - A resident complained that a woman, who had house-sat while the resident was on vacation, was now refusing to return the house key.
POINT REYES STATION - Deputies received a report of a homeless man around propane-storage tanks. A deputy could not find him.
LAGUNITAS - A West Cintura Avenue man complained of loud music at 4 p.m. All was quiet when a deputy arrived. At 6:20 p.m., however, another resident of the area complained. When a deputy contacted those responsible, the officer was told the band had just played its last song.
BOLINAS - San Rafael Police passed along a report of a man throwing a child against a car. A deputy checked the child and found no visible injuries, but filed a report with juvenile authorities.
HICKS VALLEY - A citizen reported that a large, dead deer was blocking a lane of the Point Reyes-Petaluma Road. A West Marin sheriff's deputy found the deer, which was just inside Sonoma County.
OLEMA VALLEY - A charter bus high-centered at the Olema Cemetery. The driver asked that a tow truck be sent to free the bus.
WOODACRE - A Maple Road woman complained about loud music at 8:15 p.m. A deputy contacted the person responsible, who agreed to turn down the music.
MARSHALL - A film crew's security guard reported that two drunk men in a boat were causing a disturbance and had crashed into the Clem Miller Park dock several times. A witness told deputies one of the men is a public official from Sacramento. A deputy asked a Park Service ranger to go after the men in his boat, but night fell before the Park Service boat reached them.
SAN GERONIMO - A woman reported a party with 300 to 400 people and "lots of cars" along Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 11 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to keep traffic moving.
WOODACRE - A woman on Madrone Avenue complained of loud music for nine hours. A deputy contacted the person responsible, who agreed to turn it down.
FOREST KNOLLS - An anonymous caller complained of 10 juveniles drinking in the town park. A deputy dispersed them.
FOREST KNOLLS - A man complained at 2:30 a.m. of loud drumming and people screaming downtown. A deputy told the noise makers to go home.
WOODACRE - A woman reported that her recreational vehicle had been struck above the cab, possibly by utility workers.
WOODACRE - A woman complained that her mother-in-law, 60, had threatened her and "destroyed" her room by throwing things. The woman asked that a deputy "explain the rules" to her mother-in-law. An officer later reported the problem was abated only verbally.
FOREST KNOLLS - A burglar stole a radio from a woman's car.
BOLINAS - A man reported that a second man has been sleeping in a BMW car parked on Park Avenue for four or five days. Noting that the second man seemed depressed, the first man asked deputies to check on his welfare. Deputies could not find the second man.
BOLINAS - A woman reported two boys and a girl threw cherries at her on Wharf Road. She said the same juveniles had harassed her before. A deputy abated the problem.
SAN GERONIMO - A man saw two other men shooting pellet guns into a creek, and told deputies they might be poaching salmon. A deputy determined the pair were merely target shooting, but told them to move on.
STINSON BEACH - A woman told deputies a man was "freaking out - fighting in the air and yelling, mostly to himself." The man was transported out of town.
POINT REYES STATION - A homeless man, 24, vandalized two tables at a restaurant. A deputy told him to stay off the property.
BOLINAS - A B&B owner complained of a noisy gathering of juveniles on Wharf Road, along with loud music. A deputy determined the music was coming from a bar.
SAN GERONIMO - A woman complained of a loud party near Meadow Way and Sylvestris Drive at 11:40 p.m. A deputy abated the problem.
BOLINAS - A woman reported her foster son, 16, has been forging her checks to support his drug habit. A deputy cited the boy.
LAGUNITAS - A merchant complained about a homeless man sleeping behind the store and sitting on a bench out front all day.
WOODACRE - A Laurel Avenue woman complained that her landlord was at her house causing a disturbance. She said that when her husband told him to leave, the landlord brandished an ax.
HICKS VALLEY - A man reported at 10 p.m. that a hitchhiker was acting strangely, shining his flashlight in the woods and then appearing to hitchhike again. A deputy checked the hitchhiker's identification.
POINT REYES STATION - Deputies received a report of a man in a sleeping bag with a wheelchair nearby at 11:15 p.m. on Mesa Road. A deputy found the man and cited him on charges of possessing marijuana.
MARSHALL - A citizen reported a parked car with a woman in it and a man standing outside. The citizen said he asked what the man was doing, and the man said, "I'm waiting to be relieved." A deputy determined there was no need to respond.
SAN GERONIMO - A woman reported 15 to 20 young adults partying on Tamarack Drive at 1 a.m.
STINSON BEACH - A deputy removed a man, who was trespassing at Seadrift subdivision, and admonished him.
BOLINAS - A woman told deputies a man and woman were quarreling on Wharf Road. An officer could not find them.

WOODACRE - A resident found old ammunition and turned it over to deputies for destruction.
WOODACRE - A builder reported vandals had overturned an outhouse and damaged building materials.
STINSON BEACH - A woman complained there had been fireworks going off in town for four nights.
TOMALES - A woman complained about a man screaming and singing loudly to music at 4:30 a.m. All was quiet when a deputy arrived.
WOODACRE - A man reported that he and his wife had a fight after she hit him with keys and shoes. She accused him of cheating on her. Deputies arrested her on charges of spousal abuse.
