TOMALES - A deputy cited a 17-year-old student at the high school to the county courts' Juvenile Division after a baggie of marijuana was found in the boy's locker.
INVERNESS - A deputy stood by while the daughter of a deceased woman removed her mother's possessions from a house. Deputies noted the daughter and the mother's male roommate have been having a dispute.
BOLINAS - A woman complained that her ex-husband is not allowing her to visit their daughter although a court had granted her visiting privileges every third weekend.
STINSON BEACH - A burglar broke a window and entered a Seadrift Road vacation rental. The burglar "probably" ate food, deputies noted, but took nothing else.
STINSON BEACH - A man reported his stepson was missing and possibly suicidal. The stepson was found and taken to Community Mental Health.
BOLINAS - A foster-home operator reported a man, 28, was prowling his property, had entered the home, and enticed a female juvenile ward to leave with him. The foster father said he had repeatedly warned the man to stay away from his wards. The girl returned home 30 minutes later.
MARSHALL - A burglar broke into a man's tool shed and stole an old pump from an air compressor.
BOLINAS - A man quarreled with his live-in girlfriend and her son. He entered their house on Locust Road by breaking a window, and when leaving he broke the rear window of the son's car, the son reported.
TOMALES - After a man living along Highway 1 had a confrontation with a youth, somebody drove by daily for a week shooting over the man's residence. The home was not hit, but a four-wheel-drive pickup was seen leaving the area.
INVERNESS - A tree fell across Sir Francis Drake Boulevard but was cleared away.
LAGUNITAS - A man on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard told deputies he was in a physical dispute with his brother, who had thrown a piece of wood at their mother.
NICASIO - A motorist abandoned a disabled vehicle on the Point Reyes-Petaluma Road. A towing company was asked to remove the vehicle from the pavement.
BOLINAS - A woman reported her husband's ex-wife was at the home of the woman's mother. The woman said the ex-wife is manic depressive and has threatened suicide to her kids. Deputies contacted the mother.
POINT REYES STATION - A man notified deputies of a woman, who appeared to be living out of her truck, looking for work. The woman said she had been evicted from Samuel P. Taylor State Park, where she had been helping rangers, and felt she had been treated unfairly, he said.
STINSON BEACH - After a 26 year old quarreled with his mother, he was taken to Marin General Hospital for mental care but "bolted out of there," his father told deputies.
DILLON BEACH - A man complained of someone using a rifle to shoot at bottles on rocks in the presence of children. However, the day was very rainy and foggy, and a deputy could not find him.
WOODACRE - A woman complained of a car blocking her Railroad Avenue driveway and said the driver was refusing to move. However, the car had been moved before a deputy could reach the scene.
POINT REYES STATION - A car hit a power pole along Highway 1 and drove off. Deputies couldn't find the motorist.
SAN GERONIMO - A woman asked for advice in dealing with an out-of-control teenage son. A deputy counseled the son, who said he would remain home.
WOODACRE - A woman with Alzheimer's Disease left home after quarreling with her daughter. A son said he was leaving work to look for her.
BOLINAS - A man reported his son, 13, was out of control and striking family members. A deputy gave the man advice.
FOREST KNOLLS - A woman on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard complained at 11 p.m. of a loud party with drugs and alcohol in an apartment downstairs. She asked deputies to intervene.
STINSON BEACH - A man, 26, drove to a San Francisco hospital with unknown injuries which he suffered, he said, when his father beat him up in their Stinson home. However, the man left the hospital before a deputy could contact him.
WOODACRE - A woman, who asked to use a merchant's restroom, stole a statue from the lobby. When the merchant confronted her, she threw the statue down and threatened him. The merchant described the woman as in her 50s and "very large."
NICASIO - Skywalker Ranch firefighters found a disabled man, who was missing, on Lucas Valley Road. The man was returned to his guardian.
LAGUNITAS - A resident of East Cintura Avenue reported her daughter's boyfriend was refusing to leave. However, he left before a deputy arrived.
LAGUNITAS - A vehicle hit a pedestrian on Alta Avenue. County firefighters responded.
MILLERTON POINT - A small boat carrying two fishermen capsized. After the fishermen righted the boat and made it to shore, a deputy drove them to their car. The fishermen apologized for dripping water in the patrolcar, but the officer told them not to worry.
INVERNESS - A thief stole a mail-drop sign and its bracket from the lobby of the postoffice.
INVERNESS - A man reported his stepson was verbally abusing him. A deputy gave advice.
NICASIO - A thief stole a woman's garbage can from beside Nicasio Valley Road.
STINSON BEACH - An Avenida Olema resident complained of receiving numerous hangup phone calls.
POINT REYES STATION - A homeless man, 36, called his stepmother to say he had slashed his wrist. She notified San Rafael police, who alerted West Marin sheriff's deputies. An officer found the bleeding man downtown. He was taken to a Kaiser Hospital emergency room and then turned over to San Rafael police.
INVERNESS - A woman, 45, on Inverness Way was found dead by her roommate. The case was turned over to the coroner's office.
NICASIO - A man from El Mirador Road in Santa Marguerita subdivision reported his Sunday paper had been stolen from its tube and that 10 to 12 mailboxes had been opened. He said it was the third time in the last two to three months that the subdivision's mailboxes were rifled.
BOLINAS - Deputies spotted a "habitually suspended driver" in a flatbed truck downtown. He was cited on charges of driving with a suspended license.
LAGUNITAS - A man on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard heard what sounded like six gunshots. A few moments later, a car with flat tires drove by. Deputies were unable to find the vehicle.
WOODACRE - County firefighters asked for traffic control at Railroad Avenue and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, noting only one lane was passable. Deputies referred the matter to the Highway Patrol.
LAGUNITAS - A burglar stole a car stereo and $10 from a man's vehicle parked on East Cintura Avenue.
NICASIO - A woman notified deputies of a large Brahma bull and calf in the middle of Nicasio Valley Road. Deputies could not find them.
LAGUNITAS - A car crashed on West Cintura Avenue, and the driver fled the scene.
INVERNESS - A parent went to the West Marin sheriff's substation to ask for help in dealing with an out-of-control teenager. A deputy gave advice.
OLEMA VALLEY - A deputy notified a rancher he needed to round up loose cattle and fix his fence.
BOLINAS - A resident complained of juveniles on Brighton Avenue yelling and playing music at 10 p.m. Another caller reported hearing bottles breaking and noted a light had been broken at a business. A third resident complained at 10:50 of juveniles drinking and racing cars on Brighton. A deputy determined no cars were being raced but moved juveniles off the street. At 1 a.m., a woman complained of five or six teenagers having a party outside her Brighton Avenue home "and being obnoxious." The group was gone when a deputy arrived. At 3:20 a.m., a car was reported stolen on Brighton Avenue.
SAN GERONIMO - A woman on Creamery Road complained of harassing, hangup phone calls. She said she suspects her boyfriend's ex-wife may be the culprit.
WOODACRE - A man on Madrone Avenue received a mortgage coupon book in the mail, demanding he pay $323 per month. Deputies noted the mortgage company in Florida may be the victim of misrepresentation by someone else.
LAGUNITAS - A woman complained that kids have damaged a rope holding up her business' canopy by swinging on the rope.
BOLINAS - A woman on Altura Avenue notified deputies that a man, with whom she has had problems, was sitting in her kitchen.
OLEMA - A woman complained of harassing phone calls from a neighbor, who says her dog barks excessively. A deputy gave her advice.
INVERNESS PARK - While investigating a suspicious vehicle, a deputy ran a radio check on the 53-year-old driver and then arrested him on warrants involving vandalism and harassing phone calls.
DOGTOWN - A deputy arrested a juvenile on charges of biting a school staffer.
BOLINAS WYE - A deputy found a vehicle with false tabs on its license plates. The officer then found the driver, who is from San Anselmo, hiding in the bushes. The vehicle was towed and placed in storage.
NICASIO - The postmaster reported that all the mailboxes for Santa Marguerita subdivision had been opened and that mail had been stolen from at least four boxes.
BOLINAS - A man complained that a thief stole two mountain bicycles valued at $1,200 from an outbuilding on Dogwood Road.
POINT REYES STATION - A woman reported that a burglar stole a portable computer from her locked car either downtown or in Davis.
MARSHALL - A shellfish grower complained that burglars kicked in a toolshed door and stole a welder, grinder, power saw, and welding rods.
BOLINAS - A woman said a man near the community center was being overly friendly toward children although he had said "nothing lewd or dissolute."
STINSON BEACH - After a burglar alarm went off at a Seadrift Road home, a neighbor checked and found everything in order. Deputies surmised high winds may have set off a motion detector.
SAN GERONIMO - A deputy reported that a large German shepherd was tearing apart a dead deer at Nicasio Valley Road and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. The officer said the dog was too aggressive for him to intervene and asked for Humane Society assistance. The deputy later reported someone was attacking the dog.
HICKS VALLEY - A woman on Wilson Hill Road found marijuana growing on her property. She said there was pot-growing equipment and a tent nearby, but no one was there.
TOMALES - A woman reported that a subject on Highway 1 had been screaming obscenities for 15 to 20 minutes. She noted that two people saw someone, possibly the subject, get into a car. A deputy told her to stay inside.
BOLINAS - A man told deputies he is trying to evict an ex-employee from his property, which contains a B&B. He said his mother-in-law, who lives on the property, is scared by parties at the B&B.
BOLINAS - A woman called from Colorado to say her 13-year-old daughter had phoned her in tears, saying her father had grabbed and threatened her. The mother said the father has a history of excessive drinking and being emotionally violent.
FOREST KNOLLS - A bartender complained a man was refusing to leave the bar after it closed. The man was not violent but had threatened her and her family. A deputy arrested the man on charges of trespassing.
WOODACRE - A man at 12:30 a.m. reported that a large group of juveniles at Fern Avenue and Redwood Drive were yelling. More cars were still arriving, possibly indicating a party in the area, he said. A deputy could not find the juveniles.
OLEMA - A vehicle overturned on its side in a ditch at Highway 1 and Bear Valley Road. Deputies referred the mishap to the Highway Patrol.
POINT REYES STATION - The Highway Patrol asked for a backup after it spotted a stolen car with someone in it at Highway 1 and B Street.
NICASIO - A woman on Lucas Valley Road complained of receiving harassing mail from an unknown person.
DILLON BEACH - A truck carrying trespassers got stuck on a privately owned beach. The trespassers later removed the truck from the beach.
TOMALES - A teenager asked to leave his home, saying there have been family problems ever since his father left. A deputy advised the family.
BOLINAS - A woman complained about a drunk woman and two other people on Wharf Road. A deputy could not find them.
SAN GERONIMO - A deputy stopped a Forest Knolls motorist at Nicasio Valley Road and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. The deputy turned the motorist over to the Highway Patrol, who arrested him on drunk driving charges.
BOLINAS - Deputies received a complaint of a homeless man harassing people in front of a bar.
BOLINAS - Deputies received a report of a traffic accident with possible injuries at Mesa Road and Overlook Drive.
BOLINAS - A homeless man told deputies he wanted a ride to Marin General Hospital's crisis unit or he would hang himself. Deputies took him to the hospital.
DILLON BEACH - A woman reported a suspicious car was parked in a walkway between two houses. Deputies determined the car had been parked by a runaway and that the driver had gone to a campground.
MARSHALL - A resident reported pry marks on a door, indicating that someone had tried to break in.
BOLINAS - A fisherman reported hearing five gunshots in the area of Elm Road. Deputies checked with neighbors and learned that juveniles had been shooting off fireworks.
FOREST KNOLLS - A man told deputies he wanted to take his children to Santa Cruz. His ex-wife, however, said the man has no custody papers and has been stalking her.
BOLINAS - A woman told deputies her ex-partner had broken into her house on Altura Avenue and was still there, refusing to leave. Later, the man called deputies to say the woman was trespassing on his property and refusing to leave. The woman doesn't speak English, but deputies determined the dispute involved a business deal. Both parties agreed to call back.
NICASIO - Skywalker Ranch spilled 300 gallons of diesel fuel from a generator into Nicasio Creek. Deputies noted the ranch was containing the spill with a boom across the creek, but there was "a strong smell of fuel all the way down the creek."
TOMALES - A woman reported four people on North Valley Avenue were screaming for help and using "lots of foul language." A deputy could not find them.
FOREST KNOLLS - A woman complained of multiple vehicles blocking an emergency access road off Forest Drive. A deputy determined the road was clear.
LAGUNITAS - A man complained of loud music and lots of cars on Lagunitas Road at 2:15 a.m. All was quiet when a deputy arrived.
WOODACRE - A San Geronimo Valley Drive resident reported that someone in a pickup truck had driven onto his lawn and stolen lawn chairs.
POINT REYES STATION - A vehicle overturned on the Point Reyes-Petaluma Road a quarter mile east of Highway 1. There were no injuries, and deputies referred the mishap to the Highway Patrol.
POINT REYES STATION - Deputies arrested a citizen on Highway 1 on charges of public drunkenness.
BOLINAS - The fire chief reported a car parked in a strange place near the firehouse. Deputies determined the vehicle had apparently run out of gas.

STINSON BEACH - A woman on Alameda Patio told deputies a man has been calling her, threatening her and himself. An officer advised him not to call her anymore.
BOLINAS - A woman complained that a man had broken in her door at 12:25 a.m. and then left.
TOCALOMA - A pedestrian reported someone in the floodwaters. Deputies could not find him.
BEAR VALLEY ROAD - A deputy shot a deer injured in traffic.
FOREST KNOLLS - A worker sandbagging the front of a store set off its burglar alarm.
MARSHALL - A rancher on the Marshall-Petaluma Road said he asked a couple in a pickup truck to leave the area. The couple left, but the driver told him, "Don't follow me. I have an emergency."
BOLINAS - A man reported that a second man, who was drunk, was beating up a third person on Locust Road.
BOLINAS - A vehicle crashed on Horseshoe Hill Road. There were no injuries, and deputies referred the accident to the Highway Patrol.
STINSON BEACH - A 45-year-old man on Alameda Patio pushed a woman to the ground, causing her to cut a knee.
POINT REYES STATION - A man was arrested outside a bar on public drunkenness charges.
BOLINAS - A vandal broke a light at the school and bent a door handle.
BOLINAS - A man lost his wallet in a bar.
OLEMA - Someone shot through the front window of a business with a BB or pellet gun.
BOLINAS - A man, 26, and a woman, 53, were engaged in "mutual combat" at a residence. Neither was injured and neither wanted to file charges.
BOLINAS - A man complained that his stepson had hit him in the face. The stepson said the man had twisted his arm. Deputies determined it was "mutual combat."
TOMALES - A man said a woman was drinking, screaming, and throwing things. He explained this was an ongoing problem.
OLEMA - A business owner reported that a woman was drunk, yelling, and making a scene. The problem had subsided before an officer arrived.
BOLINAS - A resident found some stolen parking meters next to his property.
WOODACRE - Deputies advised a man who said he knew of a construction company engaged in fraud.
LAGUNITAS - A window was reported broken either by vandals or by storms.
INVERNESS - A woman reported that arcing wires outside her house had set fire to some trees. Deputies called the fire department, although the fire was out when firefighters arrived.
WOODACRE - Deputies advised a woman who had an argument with her boyfriend.
TOMALES - A woman complained that a car full of juveniles had followed and harassed her. The juveniles couldn't be found.
INVERNESS PARK - A resident heard two gunshots nearby. Deputies searched the area and checked with neighbors, who had heard nothing.
STINSON BEACH - A man complained for a third time that an unknown station wagon had been parked in front of his house for six months. Deputies tagged the vehicle.
BOLINAS - A merchant said someone was trespassing in a cottage behind the business. The trespasser left before deputies arrived.
SAN GERONIMO - A unknown man in his 20s was seen scurrying away from a business as staff arrived in the morning.
POINT REYES STATION - A man found a calf leg in a garbage dumpster.
BOLINAS - A resident complained that his neighbor was banging on the resident's door and yelling. The neighbor was gone when deputies arrived.
SAN GERONIMO - A woman said a BMW eastbound on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard had knocked two vehicles off the road. The BMW's license plate was noted, and Fairfax Police were going to look for the car.
