DOGTOWN At 1:10 p.m. Dec. 17, a member of the school staff said one 14-year-old boy had brought marijuana to school and another 14 year old had smoked it. Both boys were admonished and counseled.
POINT REYES STATION Dance Palace staff at 10:15 a.m. last Wednesday reported that a vandal had broken four lights that illuminate a walkway and a spotlight that illuminates the community centers sign.
HICKS VALLEY A deputy at 4:30 p.m. Friday helped a Humane Society officer put a deer out of its misery after the animal was injured in traffic on Novato Boulevard.
INVERNESS PARK A Drakes View Drive resident at 4:16 p.m. Saturday reported a neighbor was harassing his household. He said she had phoned 12 times in the last hour and 40 minutes.
NICASIO A Nicasio Valley Road resident at 9:48 a.m. Dec. 10 gave a deputy two rifles for safekeeping.
BOLINAS An Oak Road resident at 8:57 a.m. Sunday reported his 19-year-old son was throwing rocks at a window of his home. A deputy later quoted the father as saying the son had gotten into the home by breaking a bathroom window and that once inside the home, the youth attacked his brother, hitting him in the back. The deputy warned the 19 year old about trespassing, and the young man "gathered his things and left."
STINSON BEACH A Calle del Sierra resident at 1:53 p.m. Dec. 22 reported she was being harassed by someone who was apparently calling from Marin City. A deputy determined she had received three calls from a Sausalito Flower Shop asking her to pick up a package. The officer concluded she had not been harassed.
WOODACRE A Redwood Drive resident at 4:04 p.m. Sunday notified deputies that while she was taking a bath, she received an electrical shock when she touched the faucet. The 39 year old said she was all right, and deputies described the shock as "low voltage." Nonetheless, the main breaker switch in the house was turned off, and PG&E then turned off all power to the house.
DILLON BEACH A Valley Ford-Franklin School Road resident at 6:29 p.m. Sunday reported that his son had been battered by a male suspect 30 minutes earlier. The resident was particularly irate because, he said, the same thing had happened the previous night and he got no response when he called deputies.
WOODACRE A Park Street resident at 7:05 p.m. Saturday notified deputies a man was standing in her driveway even though her property is gated. She said she believed he "bushwhacked" his way onto her property. Noting she was scared of the man, whom she described as in his late 20s or early 30s, the woman left her house.
INVERNESS PARK A helicopter was summoned at 12:12 a.m. Sunday when an 85-year-old man, who previously had been hospitalized for a possible stroke, began feeling pain in an arm.
BOLINAS Deputies at 1:13 a.m. Sunday notified the Highway Patrol that a vehicle had run off Highway 1 and into a ditch. The driver declined medical attention at the scene, and the vehicle was towed back onto the highway.
POINT REYES STATION A Highway 1 resident at 7:58 p.m. Friday reported having a dispute with his wife over soup. The wife refused to speak to a deputy, but the husband said they had thrown soup at each other.
BOLINAS A Rosewood Drive resident at 8:13 p.m. Friday complained that a man in his 40s was harassing her, claiming she owes him money for car repairs. She said conflict over the repairs has been a constant problem. However, she later called deputies back and said she could handle the matter.
INVERNESS PARK Deputies and medics at 9:23 p.m. Saturday responded when a Highway 1 resident experienced chest pains.
NATIONAL SEASHORE The Highway Patrol at 2:33 a.m. Saturday reported that a man, who has a British accent, reported a shooting threat. He said he and a woman had broken up and that she was threatening violence.
FOREST KNOLLS A deputy and Highway Patrol officer responded at 1:57 p.m. Friday when two vehicles collided downtown on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. The three occupants of one vehicle and the one occupant of the other were all safely out of their vehicles, a deputy reported. In addition, he said, a third vehicle, which was parked, was also struck in the collision.
LAGUNITAS An Alta Avenue homeowner at 2:32 p.m. Friday reported a desk with a glass top had been stolen from the homes bedroom. The homeowner suspects a relative took it, a deputy reported.
NICASIO Medics responded at 5:36 p.m. Friday when 70-year-old Lucas Valley Road resident with a history of hip problems dislocated her hip while reaching for something. The woman was in bed and unable to walk when medics arrived.
HICKS VALLEY Firefighters at 7:23 p.m. last Wednesday responded to Hicks Valley Road and the Point Reyes-Petaluma Road following a multi-vehicle collision. One car went into a ditch, and deputies provided traffic control. No one was injured.
SAMUEL TAYLOR PARK A park employee at 3:06 a.m. last Thursday notified deputies that a man was screaming along Sir Francis Drake Boulevard about a tape. She said she could hear a slamming noise and possibly a vehicle leaving.
WOODACRE A man at 9:19 a.m. last Wednesday called deputies from Madrone Avenue to report that a second man had fallen off a ladder and was unconscious. Firefighters requested that the coroner be notified.
CHILENO VALLEY A woman at 2:28 p.m. last Wednesday complained that someone keeps dropping off bags of trash along Chileno Valley Road in front of her house. She reported finding bottles for prescription medication, as well as mail, in the trash. A deputy said he would either identify the culprit or ask the county Department of Public Works to clean up the mess.
MUIR BEACH A man called deputies from Pacific Way at 5:08 p.m. last Wednesday to report a motorcycle had spilled on Highway 1 between the towns of Stinson Beach and Muir Beach. Deputies alerted the Highway Patrol.
INVERNESS PARK Deputies and medics responded at 9:09 p.m. Dec. 17 when a 77-year-old man was found in an extremely dehydrated, disoriented, and weak condition.
SAN GERONIMO A San Geronimo Valley Drive resident at 4:34 p.m. Dec. 17 told deputies that on Sept. 2 she had mailed a check to Texas. The recipient never received it, but someone cashed the check on Sept. 24, she said.

Ginnodo said the Sheriffs Office will arrange to have abandoned vehicles towed off private property, as well as public property, if the landowner signs a release. POINT REYES STATION A woman on Friday complained about a man with his pants down standing at Fifth and A streets. And last Wednesday, deputies received a report that the man had been standing at Fifth and B streets with his pants down. That location is just around the corner from the West Marin Sheriffs Substation.
INVERNESS PARK A Sir Francis Drake Boulevard resident at 5:09 p.m. Monday complained about loud noise coming from a car covered by a blue tarp. After a deputy arrived, its engine was turned off.
INVERNESS Deputies and medics responded at 8:03 p.m. Monday when an 84-year-old woman had trouble breathing.
PT. REYES-PETALUMA ROAD Deputies at 8:03 p.m. Monday received a report that a 60-year-old man was unconscious and having difficulty breathing.
POINT REYES STATION A restaurant employee at 9:57 p.m. Monday reported a thief had stolen three jackets, along with sunglasses and a set of car keys, belonging to employees.
MUIR BEACH Deputies at 8:20 p.m. Sunday received a report that powerlines were arching on Pacific Way, and Caltrans noted there were "massive amounts of tree debris on the roadway" because of last weekends wind-and-rain storm. The arcing did not start a fire, and firefighters advised PG&E to handle the problem.
FOREST KNOLLS A woman at 9:30 p.m. Sunday told deputies that as she was leaving for work, another woman asked for a ride to San Rafael. The second woman said her boyfriend had driven her into the hills, struck her, and left her there. The first woman told deputies she was scared of letting her cell phone be used by the second woman, who said she wanted to call her sister in Richmond.
INVERNESS A Woodhaven Road resident at 9:52 p.m. Sunday notified deputies that a tree knocked over by the windstorm had ripped the utility lines out of his house. He said there were powerlines lying in the street. When a deputy contacted PG&E, the officer was told the powerlines had been dead for about three days.
INVERNESS PARK A deputy at 12:03 a.m. Monday reported a tree, which he could not move, had been blown across Drakes View Drive in the 200 block.
INVERNESS County firefighters responded at 2:11 a.m. Monday when a fallen tree blocked Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.
MUIR BEACH A Sunset Way homeowner at 7:20 a.m. Monday phoned deputies reporting that a neighbor had just called him to say three large cypress trees had been blown onto his house. Muir Beach Volunteer Firefighters handled the incident.
HICKS VALLEY An off-duty firefighter Monday morning notified deputies that a black pickup truck parked near the top of Red Hill was full of bullet holes, and its windows were blown out. He said he did not stop to look around.
BOLINAS County firefighters at 11:22 a.m. Monday reported the Coast Guard was sending a helicopter after receiving a report that a kayaker had overturned in rough seas. Coast Guard, as well as firefighters from Bolinas and Stinson Beach, looked for the kayak but could not find it.
STINSON BEACH A Highway 1 merchant at 11:44 a.m. Monday reported a burglar had broken a store window to get inside and that a flashlight had been found near the broken window. The merchant had not yet determined if anything had been stolen.
FOREST KNOLLS A deputy at 12:49 p.m. Monday was directed to take a man into custody after the man failed to show up for a court case. The deputy was told to have the man held at the county crisis unit.
BOLINAS A bartender at 7:21 p.m. Saturday reported a townsperson was drunk, refusing to leave the bar, and was starting quarrels with other bar patrons.
FOREST KNOLLS A woman at 7:53 p.m. Saturday told deputies that her neighbor, who has a history of emotional problems, was drunk and screaming at passersby.
BOLINAS A woman at 8:34 p.m. Saturday reported hearing a gunshot possibly in the area of Poplar Road. A deputy, who could not find anyone shooting, speculated that the resident may have heard a clap of thunder.
INVERNESS Deputies at 9:36 p.m. Saturday received a report that wires were sparking after falling down onto Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.
BOLINAS Deputies at 9:42 p.m. Saturday received a report that powerlines along Mesa Road were arcing.
POINT REYES STATION A resident at 10:47 p.m. Saturday reported a tree had fallen across Mesa Road. The falling tree, which may have brought down live wires, had been partially cut up but was still partly on Mesa Road, the man said.
WOODACRE PG&E and the CHP responded when the wind brought down powerlines on Upper Madrone Avenue at 11:25 p.m. Sunday. The fallen lines caused a tree to catch fire.
MARSHALL A man at 2:54 p.m. Sunday told deputies that an oyster company worker had collided with the mans boat. The man said that when he asked the worker for an apology, the 20 year old instead punched him in the face, possibly breaking his jaw. The man refused medical attention at the scene.
MARSHALL A man at 3:05 p.m. Sunday notified deputies that a sailboat, which a second man keeps at the boatworks, had sunk during the storm. Only its bow could be seen above the surface, he said.
TOMALES Deputies at 11:34 a.m. Saturday received word that the wind had brought down a cable on the Fallon-Two Rock Road, blocking one lane. Deputies, however, could not get to the scene because the road was blocked by a large tree that had fallen across it.
OLEMA While waiting for Caltrans to remove a tree that wind brought down on Highway 1 some 1.5 miles south of downtown at 11:38 a.m. Saturday, a Highway Patrol officer and deputy provided traffic control.
INVERNESS Deputies at 12:03 p.m. Saturday received word that a tree which fell across Escondido Way had brought down powerlines. With other fallen trees blocking roads in town, deputies were delayed in reaching the scene. However, Inverness firefighters were able to clear Escondido Way and determined that the downed wires were not threatening anyone because they went to a vacant house.
OLEMA A Perth Way resident of Inverness at 12:24 p.m. Saturday reported that northbound Highway 1 was completely blocked by a tree that had blown down.
MARSHALL A man at 12:56 p.m. Saturday notified deputies that a white fishing boat with a black keel had broken loose in the storm and was heading down Tomales Bay toward the mouth. Deputies referred the matter to the Coast Guard.
FOREST KNOLLS Deputies at 1:34 p.m. Saturday received a report of smoke coming from fallen trees and wires at Forest Drive and Montezuma Avenue. Firefighters handled the matter.
POINT REYES STATION Deputies at 2:30 p.m. received a report that powerlines had been blown down at the east end of B Street but were not arcing. Deputies set up traffic cones around the wires.
TOMALES A falling tree landed on Highway 1 at Ocean Roar, blocking the southbound lane, at 3:34 p.m. Saturday.
SAN GERONIMO Firefighters responded at 1:41 a.m. Friday when a tree was blown over at the intersection of San Geronimo Valley Drive and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.
WOODACRE Medics transported a 65-year-old man to Marin General Hospital at 2:42 a.m. Friday when his blood pressure began spiking and his right cheek became numb.
SAN GERONIMO A deputy at 3:01 a.m. Friday cleared a tree, which had been blown down by the wind, from the pavement at San Geronimo Valley Drive and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.
FOREST KNOLLS An 88-year-old Montezuma Avenue resident fell off a chair and landed on the floor at 8:36 a.m. last Thursday. He was too hard of hearing, however, to understand when medics repeatedly asked him if he was hurt.
STINSON BEACH A woman at 9:35 a.m. last Thursday reported that her 28-year-old brother had threatened her verbally and pushed her down twice while trying to get her to leave.
INVERNESS A woman at 10:09 a.m. last Thursday complained about a transient whose green Volkswagen bus had been parked along Sir Francis Drake Boulevard for two days. She said the transient plays bongo drums loudly. A deputy determined that the motorists bus had broken down, was being repaired by a garage, and should be ready to go that day. The officer told the man about Marin ordinances against living in vehicles and making too much noise.
SAN GERONIMO A Sunshine Lane resident at 11:23 a.m. last Thursday notified deputies he had received a letter from Spain, claiming he had won $800,000. The letter asked him for information on his bank account, supposedly so the money could be transferred into it. The resident said he believes the whole thing is a "scam" and asked for an international-fraud prosecution.
DILLON BEACH A helicopter flew a 75-year-old man from Marine View Drive to a hospital last Thursday afternoon after he refused to cooperate with his wifes attempts to give him juice although he is a diabetic. The wife told authorities he had last eaten and taken insulin around midnight.
MUIR BEACH A 35-year-old man on Cove Lane at 3:03 p.m. last Thursday had an allergic reaction, including extensive swelling, when he received two bee stings on the back of his neck. He said it was the first time he had ever been stung.
BOLINAS Deputies at 3:04 p.m. last Thursday received a report that a deer was stuck in the mud of Bolinas Lagoon across the Olema-Bolinas Road from Bolinas School. Deputies, as well as firefighters from Bolinas and Stinson Beach, tried to find the deer but could not.

STINSON BEACH A 42-year-old woman at 12:02 p.m. Monday reported suffering chest pain. A deputy noted one of her lungs had collapsed a month ago and may have done so again. She could not be transported to a hospital by a rescue helicopter because the weather was too bad for it to land.
TOMALES The Coast Guard notified deputies at 8:22 a.m. Sunday that someone had stopped at its Two Rock facility to report a traffic accident at Alexander and Tomales-Two Rock roads. A deputy could not find the crash. However, a woman at 1:01 p.m. Monday notified deputies that the plastic liner for a pickup truck was on the pavement at Alexander and Tomales-Two Rock roads. Deputies told the Highway Patrol about the traffic hazard.
SAN GERONIMO A woman at 2:29 p.m. Monday told deputies that people with wheelbarrows had been going back and forth along Meadow Way all day, dumping rocks in Papermill/Lagunitas Creek. She asked if this was allowed.
NICASIO A Nicasio Valley Road resident at 3:20 p.m. Monday called deputies to report that she and her husband were fighting over a divorce. He then got on the phone and told deputies that no violence nor drinking was involved. She subsequently told deputies that after he hung up the phone, he said he was "going to get her," an officer said.
PLATFORM BRIDGE ROAD A woman at 5:23 p.m. Monday reported a white Toyota pickup truck had run off the road, but no one was in the area. Deputies could not find the pickup. The Highway Patrol later told deputies there had been a traffic accident in the area earlier, but the truck had now been towed away.
DILLON BEACH An Ocean View Avenue resident at 9:09 p.m. Monday called deputies but then handed the phone to her husband, who said she had cut his hand. The husband then explained that his 80-year-old wife had knocked his chair over, and he had fallen, cutting his hand. A deputy assisted medics.
STINSON BEACH A man at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday complained that a person living above a business was blasting music. When a deputy called the man back, he said the person had just shut the music off, and all was quiet.
WOODACRE A man at 10:06 p.m. Sunday told deputies that a white Toyota pickup truck had parked in his drive the previous night and was still there. The man said he believed the truck had broken down. He asked deputies to determine who the owner is and find out when the truck would be moved.
DILLON BEACH A man at 1:17 p.m. Sunday reported that a motorhome parked at a resort may have pulled out three no-parking signs when it left 15 minutes earlier, heading toward Tomales.
TOMALES Deputies at 10:33 p.m. Sunday reported a single-vehicle accident on Highway 1 north of Tomales-Petaluma Road. A man and woman were both injured and had "lots of blood" on them, an officer noted. Deputies and the Highway Patrol both handled the matter.
STINSON BEACH A JoaquÌn Patio resident at 9:40 p.m. Sunday complained that a group of people had a fire on the beach and were setting off loud fireworks. Deputies also received a complaint from a resident of Seadrift subdivision, but an officer couldnt find the group.
BOLINAS An 89-year-old resident of Nymph Road at 2:03 p.m. Sunday slipped and fell. She was conscious but said she did not remember the fall. Her right eye was swollen, and her nose was bleeding, a deputy reported.
BOLINAS A Wharf Road merchant at 12:10 p.m. Sunday complained that a woman in her 40s and wearing a black tanktop, along with sunglasses, had damaged his screendoor but was refusing to leave.
FOREST KNOLLS A resident at 8:49 a.m. Sunday notified deputies that the previous day he had discovered that $800 to $900 in cash had been stolen from his home. He said carpet installers had been working in the house five days earlier.
FOREST KNOLLS A Sanchez Road resident at 3:15 a.m. Sunday reported hearing a loud explosion.
POINT REYES STATION A Lorraine Avenue resident at 11:02 p.m. Sunday reported she could hear two females "yelling and crashing." A deputy determined the altercation was not physical but was only a quarrel between two roommates. The officer told them to cool off.
BOLINAS Deputies at 9:06 a.m. Friday reported a white Toyota pickup truck was on its side at Mesa Road and Overlook Drive and needed a tow.
INVERNESS PARK A resident at 11:50 a.m. Friday told deputies she needs an emergency protective order against a 41-year-old man. She said he had been harassing her almost every night. "She is afraid of the subject," an officer noted.
MARSHALL Deputies at 7:18 p.m. last Thursday received a report that a 10-year-old boy on the Marshall-Petaluma Road had been "in and out of consciousness since Monday." He was shaking and hyperventilating, a deputy noted. The boy was transported to a hospital by ambulance.
BOLINAS A woman on Horseshoe Hill Road received a severe cut to her head when she fell from a horse at 10:45 a.m. last Thursday.
NICASIO A Nicasio Valley Road resident at 1 p.m. last Thursday told deputies that a man from Ohio was harassing her. She said he had called 15 times in the last 24 hours and had threatened to fly here.
BOLINAS A woman whose house burned down last week called deputies at 4:10 p.m. last Thursday asking them to protect her property. She said her neighbors had told her that looters had been taking items.
FOREST KNOLLS A Tamal Road tenant at 4:20 p.m. last Thursday told deputies she was having a problem with her landlord over woodchips. A deputy noted there had been a misunderstanding between the two women regarding the woodchips, which had been ordered but not yet delivered. The dispute was abated before he arrived, the deputy reported. The officer gave both women advice.
STINSON BEACH A woman at 7:50 p.m. last Wednesday reported that a vehicle had almost hit her husband and child while they were in a crosswalk. Deputies traced the vehicles license plate number to a Dogtown resident.
NICASIO A Nicasio Valley Road man at 7:54 p.m. last Wednesday reported that someone at night had dumped a "few truckloads of yard waste" on his property the previous weekend. Based on what others saw, the culprit may have been driving a white van with no lights on, he said. The man added that business cards had been found in the debris.
LAGUNITAS County firefighters at 11:09 a.m. last Wednesday reported that a housesitter was locked out of a house on Spring Road and that they would handle the matter.
TOMALES The athletic director at 12:50 p.m. last Wednesday reported a boy and girl at the high school had been caught with marijuana. They were cited to juvenile authorities.
BOLINAS A Wharf Road merchant at 3:30 p.m. last Wednesday reported being in a dispute with someone who borrowed his property and was late in paying his bills. A deputy reported, "Advice [was] given regarding keeping matters peaceful."
TOMALES A man at 5:45 p.m. last Wednesday reported three all-black calves were loose on Dillon Beach Road.
NICASIO As a courtesy to San Francisco Police Departments Fraud Unit, deputies at 5:47 p.m. took a report from a Road to the Ranches resident who said someone was using her credit cards.

OLEMA A woman at 8:40 p.m. Monday notified deputies she had lost a $150 cell phone at lodgings in town.
INVERNESS Medics at 1:43 a.m. Tuesday transported a resident, who had fallen out of bed and cut his head, to a hospital.
NICASIO Medics responded at 6:12 p.m. Monday when a 60-year-old resident of Nicasio Valley Road fell and struck her head and wrist. She reported having pain in her face and ribs.
INVERNESS A woman at 3:40 p.m. Monday reported a 90-year-old resident was missing from her home.
FOREST KNOLLS A Tamal Road tenant at 4:41 p.m. Monday told deputies that her landlord, who is trying to evict her, "just threw a can of cat food at her from the garbage can," an officer reported. The deputy noted that both women live on the same property.
MARSHALL The Highway Patrol at 3:22 p.m. Monday found a wrecked vehicle that had run off Highway 1 near Hamlet. The car had plunged down an embankment, but the driver was not at the scene, a deputy reported. The CHP arranged to have the car towed away on Tuesday.
STINSON BEACH A nonprofits administrator at 3:34 p.m. Monday told officers he had just received an e-mail saying that the nonprofit "better close or it wont like the consequences," a deputy reported. The administrator thinks the e-mail came from a juvenile in the area, so he left a message for the juveniles parents, the officer added.
WOODACRE A father at 1:06 p.m. Monday asked a deputy to accompany him to his ex-wifes house so he could pick up their childs school papers. He told officers she had refused to bring the papers to him.
BOLINAS A man on Wharf Road at 6:54 p.m. Sunday told deputies that his wife had loaned out some of his property and that he would need advice and possibly assistance in order to retrieve it.
NICASIO A man at 1:07 p.m. Sunday reported there had been a prowler on his agricultural property the previous night. Nothing had been taken, he said, but he asked for extra patrols in the area.
WOODACRE A woman at 10:27 p.m. Sunday notified deputies that a suspicious man was riding a mountain bicycle at Redwood and San Geronimo Valley drives. She said the man was "mumbling" and that she had seen him in the area before. The mumbling bicyclist was gone when a deputy arrived.
TOMALES Medics responded to Dillon Beach Road at 10:33 a.m. Sunday when a bicyclist crashed. He was transported to a hospital in a private vehicle, a deputy said.
BOLINAS A Crescente Avenue resident at 2:48 a.m. Sunday notified deputies that she was hearing either guns or fireworks. She said she had heard three explosions around 10 p.m. and three more just now. The noise woke her up and was upsetting her animals, she said. The resident added that a passing bicyclist had told her that he had seen a flash and what sounded like a large firecracker.
SAN GERONIMO A Sage Lane resident at 8:36 p.m. Saturday reported his car had been vandalized during the night with flour and eggs. The flour had done minor damage to the paint, he said.
BOLINAS A deputy at 10:44 p.m. Saturday abated a quarrel between a husband and his wife, who are co-owners of a business. The deputy reported that the wife then left for the evening.
STINSON BEACH The manager of a bar at 11:18 p.m. Saturday notified deputies that a 24-year-old man, who had imbibed too much, had slugged a bartender. When the manager called deputies, the 24 year old was outside the bar, but he left while the manager was still on the phone.
POINT REYES STATION A woman at 7:46 p.m. Friday reported her boyfriend was passed out on the floor, apparently from heroin or crack. Medics, however, determined the man had taken anti-depressant and sleeping medication, possibly overdosing.
STINSON BEACH A man at 12:22 a.m. Saturday complained about a group of juveniles at the beach end of Calle del Embarcadero. He said the youths had arrived in numerous cars and were making too much noise. In addition, the group had built a bonfire, and sparks from it were blowing toward nearby homes. A deputy contacted the group and told them the fire was illegal. They agreed to put it out and leave.
BOLINAS Deputies and medics at 11:01 a.m. Friday responded to Wharf Road where a 73-year-old man, who had a recent history of infection, had fallen five days earlier. The man, who said he was now suffering pain in his shoulder, was transported to a hospital.
STINSON BEACH A Calle del Mar resident at 11:45 a.m. Friday told deputies that a man on a 10-speed bicycle had harassed her. She said the man, who was wearing a catchers mask, had blocked her car and ridden in front of her, not letting her pass. The masked bicyclist was gone when a deputy arrived.
WOODACRE A woman at 12:33 p.m. Friday reported that numerous vehicles were parked in the area of Holly Lane and Rock Ridge Road, causing a possible traffic hazard. A deputy determined there was no hazard and that the roadway was clear for emergency vehicles, as well as private vehicles.
POINT REYES STATION A man at 1 p.m. Friday reported that his 19-year-old daughter had left a party at 4 a.m. and still wasnt home. The young woman arrived home while a deputy was at the scene.
BOLINAS A deputy at 1:13 p.m. Friday reported that a vehicle had run off an embankment along the Olema-Bolinas Road. The driver appeared to be in shock, the officer said.
BOLINAS A man on Wharf Road at 4:02 p.m. Friday told deputies that a man in his mid-20s, who was driving a white car, had threatened him. A second man had "said he was going to kick his rear as well," a deputy reported. The officer determined that the two men who allegedly made threats had earlier been told to leave the first mans business. At 10:27 a.m. the same day, a woman complained that a man was living in a blue van parked at Juniper Road and Ocean Parkway. The van was gone when a deputy checked, but the woman called at 4:52 p.m. again and reported that the man living in his vehicle was back. A deputy reported that the man might be one of the duo accused of making threats.
FOREST KNOLLS A resident, who lives next to Open Space District land, at 5:25 p.m. Friday reported having a conflict with a horsewoman.
STINSON BEACH A Calle del Resaca resident at 9:02 p.m. last Thursday complained that a group had a fire on the beach. A deputy contacted several adults and told them that their fire was illegal. They put it out.
MARSHALL A woman called deputies at 10:41 a.m. last Thursday to say an 83-year-old woman, who had been temporarily unresponsive after hitting her head in a fall a week earlier, was now "coming around." Ever since the fall, she had "not been the same," the first woman said. Even before the fall, the older woman suffered Parkinsons disease and other medical problems, the caller said. A helicopter transported the patient to a hospital.
INVERNESS A woman at 11:13 p.m. Friday reported that a man driving an Acura was demanding her clothes. A deputy determined the man was the womans boyfriend, who was yelling at her from outside her house. No crime had occurred, the officer concluded.
DILLON BEACH A woman on Marine View Drive at 11:08 a.m. Thanksgiving Day reported that a 61-year-old man was confused and did not know where he was or where he lived. A deputy reported that the man was diabetic and "did not eat this morning, saving room for turkey." This caused him to become light-headed and disoriented, a deputy noted. A helicopter transported the man to a hospital.
DILLON BEACH Deputies at 12:10 p.m. Thanksgiving Day received another call from the same area, reporting that a 79-year-old diabetic woman was unconscious. The caller said the woman, who depends on insulin to control her diabetes, had suffered a mild stroke two weeks earlier. While deputies were on the phone, the caller said the woman was "coming around now."
BOLINAS Deputies at 7:21 p.m. last Wednesday received a report from personnel at the Coast Guard transmitting site on Mesa Road that a boat had washed up with life preservers on board. A deputy later reported that the owners of the boat were "fine" and that "everything is taken care of."
LAGUNITAS An Arroyo Road resident at 8:08 p.m. last Wednesday told deputies that a 40-year-old man was at her house pounding on things. The resident said she believed the man had been drinking. She told officers he was not her boyfriend but that they had a history together.
MARSHALL An innkeeper at 10:07 p.m. last Wednesday notified deputies that guests in one room were being loud and annoying other guests. He said he was not sure if he should use his key to enter their room. The situation was not yet heated but could easily become so, he said.
FOREST KNOLLS A Montezuma Avenue resident at 10:41 p.m. last Wednesday complained about youths parked on her street and said she believed they were drinking. A deputy could not find them.
MUIR BEACH A Sunset Way resident at 10:44 p.m. last Wednesday complained about neighbors shining bright lights at his residence. A deputy said the bright lights did not violate any county ordinance but that he would speak to the neighbors.
STINSON BEACH A deputy at 11:32 a.m. last Wednesday reported a 44-year-old man on Panoramic Highway had an injured knee that was swelling. The man had no prior symptoms, the officer said. Volunteer firefighters determined the man had been injured at a job site. They reported the mans employer would take him to get treatment.
PT. REYES-PETALUMA ROAD A man at 1:21 p.m. last Wednesday told deputies he just saw the driver of a blue Chevrolet pickup truck "dumping a bunch of debris over the side of the road." A deputy noted the caller "confronted the driver, who gave him the usual pleasantries." The caller, who asked deputies to follow up on his complaint, gave them the pickup trucks license plate number and said a seven-year-old boy was in the truck too.
WOODACRE Firefighters at 7:09 a.m. Nov. 26 notified deputies that a large van was blocking access to a road. Firefighters said that the resident with the van "keeps telling her neighbors she is moving but never does." A deputy contacted the resident who said she would move the truck "immediately."
WOODACRE Firefighters at 10:05 a.m. Nov. 26 received a report that a clothes dryer was on fire at a Railroad Avenue home.
LAGUNITAS A man at 7:47 p.m. Nov. 25 reported having a verbal confrontation with his brothers roommate. The caller said he had been threatened with bodily harm when he "advised the roommate he needed to move." At 11:53 a.m. the next day, the man asked a deputy to tell the roommate to leave. A deputy reported that he "advised [the roommate] not to return."
WOODACRE Medics at 1:27 p.m. Nov. 26 responded to Central Avenue when a 65-year-old man with a heart condition suffered chest pains.
WOODACRE An Edgewood Drive resident at 2:21 p.m. Nov. 26 notified deputies that someone was using his credit card to take money from his ATM account. The fraud now totaled about $1,000 with the transactions taking place in Alameda, Castro Valley, and San Leandro, he said. A deputy gave him information on dealing with "identity theft."
STINSON BEACH A firefighter at 8:51 a.m. Nov. 25 told deputies that a man in a green, hooded sweatshirt was pointing his finger and pretending to shoot passersby on Calle del Mar. The firefighter said the man was also "talking to and yelling at his backpack." A woman also reported the man to deputies.
CHILENO VALLEY Deputies at 9:41 a.m. Nov. 25 received word of a bull and calf in the road. A deputy reported the owner would move the animals.
WOODACRE A Rock Ridge Road resident at 2:39 p.m. Nov. 25 reported a man claiming to be with the Environmental Protection Agency had come to her door, saying she needed to let him in to pick up some dangerous chemicals. When the resident said, "No thank you," she reported, "he seemed angry."
POINT REYES STATION Sheriffs Lt. Rich Ginnodo, commander of the West Marin Substation, has asked The Light to let readers know that a campaign to remove abandoned cars is underway in West Marin. Lt. Ginnodo said the Sheriffs Office will arrange to have abandoned vehicles towed off private property, as well as public property, if the landowner signs a release.
