BOLINAS - Two men on Wharf Road at 11 p.m. got into a fight, in which an 18 year old had "blindside sucker punched" a downed man, deputies were told. Officers referred the case to the district attorney.
INVERNESS - Someone broke into a vacation home on Inverness Way, ate the owner's food, and used the home's utilities. The owner discovered the break-in when his utility bills became high. A check of the house found two doors open.
POINT REYES STATION - A man told deputies he had lost his wallet in Mill Valley. He said he may have left it on top of his car.
CHILENO VALLEY - A Tomales-Petaluma Road resident reported a large amount of garbage, including auto parts and paint, had been dumped beside the road. The county Public Works Department was dispatched to clean up the mess.
BOLINAS - A deputy on Brighton Avenue at 9:10 p.m. arrested a 58-year-old homeless man on public drunkenness charges.
BOLINAS - A man on Wharf Road flicked a cigarette butt at a deputy. The officer arrested him on public drunkenness charges.
POINT REYES STATION - A man said his ex-wife had violated a court's restraining order. A deputy gave the man advice.
SAN GERONIMO - A woman reported being assaulted by her son.
BOLINAS - A merchant on Wharf Road reported an ongoing problem with a former tenant.
WOODACRE - A Park Street resident returned from vacation to find her home had been burglarized.
BOLINAS - Deputies received a report of a drunk woman on Wharf Road. An officer found the woman sitting quietly outside a bar. She was not drunk.
STINSON BEACH - A man at 10 p.m. complained that three juveniles were smashing garbage-can lids in the middle of Calle del Mar at Highway 1. A deputy moved the juveniles along.
BOLINAS - A man at 10:40 p.m. complained that 50 people, mostly juveniles, were holding a party with loud music plus a fire in a steel barrel at Alder and Evergreen roads. When a deputy checked, the party was breaking up.
BOLINAS - A man at 4:30 a.m. reported a suspicious pickup truck was driving around in the vicinity of Cedar Road and Ocean Parkway. When a deputy checked, he found the trucker was merely picking up some fish.
DILLON BEACH - Deputies at 8 a.m. received a report of four cattle loose on Oceana Drive and were told it was an ongoing problem. Deputies could not reach the cattle's owner.
BOLINAS - Town firefighters at 2 a.m. extinguished a blaze in a woodpile along Horseshoe Hill Road. The fire was out before a deputy arrived.
FOUR CORNERS - Deputies received a report of a Black Angus cow loose on the roadway and referred the matter to the Humane Society.
LAGUNITAS - A Mountain Road man reported that a woman and a man with a dog were trespassing on his Mount Barnabe property. When he confronted them, they cursed him, he said.
BOLINAS - A man reported his 15-year-old daughter was out of parental control and had not returned home by midnight. He later reported she had returned, and a deputy gave him advice.
TOMALES - A man reported seeing a car carrying three adults near Highway 1 and the Tomales-Petaluma Road, and one of the three was aiming a rifle at an egret in a marsh. Deputies checked the license plate the man gave them, and the trio's car turned out to be registered to a man in Santa Rosa.
TOMALES - Two brothers on John Street created a disturbance when they got into a quarrel over the remote control for a television. The younger brother eventually left, and deputies noted such problems are "not unusual" for him.
INVERNESS - A merchant detained a 16-year-old boy for shoplifting.
LAGUNITAS - A Sir Francis Drake Boulevard merchant reported a customer had made threats.
MARSHALL - A tree four to five feet in diameter fell across Highway 1. County firefighters cleared the roadway.
INVERNESS PARK - A Vallejo Avenue resident reported losing her passport.
TOMALES - High school staff saw two students entering a third student's car through a window. The third student said the pair were friends, and he didn't mind their being in his car. School staff, however, found marijuana and a bong for smoking it in the car. All the youths were released to their parents.
HICKS VALLEY - A deputy on the Marshall-Petaluma Road cited a Petaluma motorist, 19, on charges of possessing a small amount of marijuana.
RED ROCK - A burglar pried open a front door on a car parked at the nude beach and stole a man's wallet and radar detector.
HICKS VALLEY - Deputies received a report of loose cows at Point Reyes-Petaluma Road and Novato Boulevard. An officer found one loose cow and returned it to its pasture. He could not find the others.
POINT REYES STATION - A Cypress Road woman complained about drumming at 10:45 p.m. A deputy contacted the drummer, who agreed to stop for the night.
BOLINAS - A 15-year-old girl reported her stepmother had tried to strangle her during a quarrel. The girl's father had tried to intervene, but the stepmother drove off.
BOLINAS - An anonymous caller complained of "loud hollering" and "bongo drums" at 3 a.m. at Alder and Opal roads. A deputy checked and found a party breaking up.
WOODACRE - A detective cited a Railroad Avenue juvenile in connection with an assault.
POINT REYES STATION - A janitor accidentally set off the bank's burglar alarm.
LAGUNITAS - A merchant reported that more than $1,000 in checks and cash had been stolen from her store on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.
LAGUNITAS - An Arroyo Road woman reported that her rental car, with her dog and other belongings inside, had just been stolen. A deputy, however, determined that the rental company had taken back the car, and an officer stood by while she retrieved her belongings.
BOLINAS - A merchant told deputies he had evicted a tenant, who moved out with some of the merchant's property. He said the tenant has admitted taking the property but won't return it. The tenant then gave deputies his side of the story. An officer gave advice.
LAGUNITAS - An Arroyo Road resident reported that while she was away from home, someone had cut the lock off her gate. She said a neighbor had checked her house and found it in order. A deputy gave her advice.
TOMALES - A burglar stole a $450 bicycle from the pumphouse at a Highway 1 home.
TOMALES - A deputy on Irvin Road arrested a 25-year-old man on charges of burglary and possessing stolen property in connection with a case from last June.
BOLINAS - Deputies took a homeless woman to the county crisis unit.
STINSON BEACH - A woman reported that while her car was parked for 20 minutes in the lot for a trailhead along Panoramic Highway, a burglar broke a window and stole purses and a backpack.
BOLINAS - A woman complained of five to six people hanging out in front of a church on Brighton Avenue, "cussing," drinking in public, and disturbing her peace. A deputy contacted six adults but found no evidence of alcohol. The six agreed to keep the noise down.
LAGUNITAS - Deputies received a 911 hangup call from an Arroyo Road house. A woman said she and her husband, who had been drinking, were quarreling. However, there was no violence, she said.
NICASIO - A Lucas Valley Road resident reported a generator had been stolen from his tool shed. He said he may have a lead regarding who took it.
BOLINAS - A deputy on Wharf Road arrested a 58-year-old homeless man on a court warrant.
INVERNESS - A deputy arrested a 38-year-old Modesto man on a Modesto County warrant for failing to show up in court for a drunk-driving case.
TOMALES-PETALUMA ROAD - A ranch worker said a woman and a Cotati man showed up at the ranch where he lives and threatened him. The man struck him in the face several times, he said. Deputies reported the man, who left before they arrived, was apparently upset about a second woman visiting the worker.
STINSON BEACH - A man on Calle del Arroyo reported the 1998 registration tag had been stolen off his vehicle's license plate.
RED HILL - A man received a call from a New Hampshire computer company verifying a purchase to be charged to his credit card. The man said he had not ordered any computer equipment and didn't know how the buyer had gotten his credit card number.
TOMALES - A deputy helped the high school investigate and counsel five juveniles regarding their use of marijuana and their possession of pot-smoking paraphernalia.
BOLINAS - A deputy on Maple Road arrested a 46-year-old San Francisco man on drunk-driving charges.
BOLINAS - A man at 10 p.m. reported that four juveniles were causing a disturbance on Wharf Road and had threatened him. The juveniles were gone when a deputy arrived, but an officer determined no threat had been made.
FOREST KNOLLS - A couple living on Morelos Avenue got into a quarrel at 11:45 p.m. The quarrel spilled out of their home into the street and then moved back inside. Deputies were told the couple had been drinking.
INVERNESS PARK - A woman asked deputies for advice regarding harassing phone calls she is receiving from Canada.
BOLINAS - A Dogwood Road man complained that his 27-year-old roommate was bothering him. A deputy gave him advice regarding the eviction process.
POINT REYES STATION - A store detained a 16 year old for allegedly shoplifting cigarettes. A deputy, however, determined there were insufficient "elements" to constitute a crime.
INVERNESS - A woman in a landlord-tenant dispute reported a theft at her old home on Cameron Street. A deputy gave her advice.
INVERNESS PARK - A man told deputies he was delivering firewood to a home on Pinecrest when a woman in her 50s became abusive as he drove past her house. He said she yelled obscenities, waived her shovel, and hit his truck. He asked for a deputy to stand by while he drove past her house again after dropping off his load. However, a deputy could not find the address the driver gave him.
SAN GERONIMO - A man reported that a second man, who had been arrested earlier that day by Fairfax police, had subsequently been seen outside a trailer. He asked for extra patrols in the area.
FOREST KNOLLS - Deputies received a 911 call from a house on Ramona Avenue. No one answered the phone when deputies called back. Nor was there anyone or any vehicle at the house. Officers noted that a week earlier, a cat in the house had managed to place a 911 call.
LAGUNITAS - A man reported that someone was using a fish net to pull fish out of Lagunitas Creek. Deputies referred the matter to state Fish and Game wardens.
STINSON BEACH - A man reported that a wrecked motorcycle had been left beside Highway 1 for more than a year. A deputy tagged the motorcycle for towing.
NATIONAL SEASHORE - Deputies received a report of cattle loose on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. An officer contacted the owner, and the cattle were returned to their pasture.
PT. REYES-PETALUMA ROAD - The Highway Patrol told deputies it had been alerted to a possible kidnapping, with one person trying to get out of a car. A deputy could not find the suspect vehicle.
BOLINAS - Deputies were notified of a possible family fight on Overlook Drive. An officer determined there was no fight.
BOLINAS - A man told deputies a neighbor harasses him whenever she sees him walking his dog, speeding up to frighten him. Deputies noted the woman has an ongoing problem with the man's father.
INVERNESS PARK - A woman reported that tenants had moved out after trashing her place. The door lock no longer works, and she can't move in for a week, she told deputies. The woman asked for extra patrols in the area.
DILLON BEACH - At the request of his tenants, a landlord showed up to work at his Ocean View Avenue property. The landlord told deputies he found bits of marijuana plus rolling papers in the rental house. When a deputy checked, he found a small amount of marijuana. The tenants were not there, so the officer said he would contact them later.
TOMALES - The continuation high school reported it was detaining a student under the influence of drugs. The youth was cited to Juvenile Probation.
POINT REYES STATION - A burglar alarm went off at 8:30 p.m. in a building along Highway 1. A deputy noted it appeared someone had been tampering with the building.
TOMALES - A woman reported receiving harassing phone calls from someone who merely hangs on the line after she answers.
NICASIO - A Realtor accidentally set off the burglar alarm at a Nicasio Valley Road home.
CHILENO VALLEY - The Highway Patrol and county firefighters responded to a downed powerline on the Marshall-Petaluma Road.
STINSON BEACH - A woman reported that the rear license plate of her vehicle had been lost or stolen.
BOLINAS - A deputy on Wharf Road arrested a man on charges of public drunkenness. The previous day, the suspect allegedly grabbed another man's arm on Dogwood Road and threatened to kill him. Officers documented the incident and told the suspect to "cease [his] actions."
BOLINAS - A deputy on Wharf Road arrested a 27-year-old man on numerous warrants.
INVERNESS - A woman returned to her vacation home on Inverness Way and found the home in disarray. The woman then spotted a homeless man, 20, in her backyard. He fled, but deputies searched the neighborhood, found him, and took him to jail.
BOLINAS - Two men, who had been drinking, got into a fight on Wharf Road. One punched the other several times in the head in front of bystanders, who did not intervene. The second man did not wish to press charges.
NICASIO - A woman received a call on her answering machine from a man who breathed heavily and said, "You're next." Deputies assigned extra patrols in her area.
POINT REYES STATION - A Novato woman inside a vehicle in a parking lot took 24 sleeping pills in an attempt to commit suicide. Deputies noted she was despondent over domestic problems and placed her in the county crisis unit on a 72-hour hold.
MARSHALL - Deputies were alerted to a car parked on Highway 1 with a hose from the car's exhaust pipe to the passenger compartment. Deputies found a Stockton man in the car and placed him on a 72-hour hold in the county crisis unit.
FOREST KNOLLS - A man attempted to commit suicide.
DOGTOWN - Deputies took an out-of-control boy, 12, to Juvenile Hall for violating probation. He was accused of "acting out sexually" with other youths.
FOREST KNOLLS - A man heard two blasts that sounded like gunfire at 7 p.m.
NATIONAL SEASHORE - Deputies received an emergency call and called back. They could hear screaming in the background and what sounded like a physical fight. The person who answered the callback yelled into the phone in Spanish. Deputies referred the matter to Park Service rangers.
MARSHALL - A man reported hearing the alarm at an oyster tank sounding and a car driving off.
OLEMA VALLEY - A deputy found a loose cow on Highway 1, herded it back into its pasture, and fixed the fence.
STINSON BEACH - A woman reported checks and other property were stolen from her car parked at Steep Ravine.
STINSON BEACH - A woman reported that a man and second woman were fighting with hands and feet. She said the second woman had now left, but the man was now yelling at her own husband. The man finally left.
SAN GERONIMO - A woman told deputies that a postal worker in another town had deposited several checks belonging to someone else. The woman said she had been advised by El Dorado County deputies to call Marin deputies. Deputies here, however, said the alleged crime had occurred outside their jurisdiction and gave her advice.
WOODACRE - A man reported his estranged wife had come to his house, yelled, banged on the door, and left. A deputy gave him advice.
WOODACRE - Three people reported hearing a loud explosion at 8:35 p.m. Sunday.
WOODACRE - An Oak Grove Avenue woman reported a four-wheel-drive had gotten stuck in a creek while backing up at night.
STINSON BEACH - When a burglar alarm sounded on Panoramic Highway, deputies found a ladder leaning against the second floor of a house.
TOMALES - A malfunctioning phone line at a Valley Avenue home caused the phone to dial 911. The resident agreed to disconnect an exposed phone line between the house and a mobilehome.
BOLINAS - A mugger grabbed two six-packs of beer from a man. A struggle ensued, but the mugger got away.
INVERNESS PARK - An Inverness woman reported loose cattle were getting onto Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. Deputies referred the problem to the Highway Patrol.
BOLINAS - A woman at 8:30 p.m. reported hearing loud voices in a church parking lot. A deputy determined that a gathering at the church would last until 10 or 11 p.m.
POINT REYES STATION - A person fell off a stool and was taken to Marin General Hospital.
WOODACRE - A woman complained that her sister, 48, was at the woman's house although she didn't want her there.
SAN GERONIMO - A San Geronimo Valley Drive resident heard four gunshots at 8:30 a.m.
BOLINAS - A man on Elm Road heard 20 to 30 gunshots over five minutes around 10:30 a.m.
DILLON BEACH - A deputy found a black cow on Valley Ford Road near Dillon Beach Road but was unable to move it off the pavement.
FOUR CORNERS - A tree fell down, partially blocking one lane of traffic.
LAGUNITAS - A woman complained about a trespasser living on her neighbor's property. A deputy had given the trespasser until Nov. 24 to leave, but he was still there, she said.
TOMALES - A man called his wife on Whitaker Bluff Road and said he wanted to kill her and their dog.
MARSHALL - Deputies received a report of a vehicle in a ditch, with cows.
WOODACRE - A man complained that two labor union representatives were trespassing on a Sir Francis Drake Boulevard job site.
POINT REYES STATION - Deputies received a report of a barefoot woman with two dogs; the woman believed she was being followed by a man with a gun.
FOREST KNOLLS - A woman on Resaca Avenue complained that her two cats had been stolen. She said she would show deputies the man who stole them.
TOMALES - Deputies at 9 p.m. received a complaint of juveniles yelling downtown for an hour.
INVERNESS - A vandal punctured the right-front tire of a vehicle parked on Bruce Street.
BOLINAS - A woman accused a second woman of waiving a fork at her and then throwing a glass of water at her in the kitchen of a home they share on Wharf Road.
FALLON - A man complained that his daughter at 2:45 a.m. had kicked in the rear door of his house and departed with her 16-year-old daughter, of whom she has full custody.
STINSON BEACH - Seadrift Security found a San Francisco woman's credit card and turned it over to a deputy.
STINSON BEACH - While investigating a report of a suspicious person on private property, a deputy arrested a 30-year-old man on charges of possessing methamphetamine and a pipe for smoking it.
INVERNESS PARK - A resident at 2:25 a.m. complained of a vehicle racing up and down the street.
POINT REYES STATION - Deputies received a call from a man who was upset because a homeless man had used the women's restroom of a restaurant.
LAGUNITAS - A Sir Francis Drake Boulevard resident told deputies his roommate and his roommate's girlfriend were having a "breakup" quarrel and that she had "smashed" her vehicle into their gate. The disturbance was abated before an officer arrived.
SAMUEL TAYLOR PARK - A camper reported that a thief had stolen her sleeping bag from her tent.
FOREST KNOLLS - A man told deputies that his daughter, who attends school outside the Valley, may have been inappropriately touched by a school administrator. A deputy checked and determined there was no merit to the report.
POINT REYES STATION - Deputies received a 911 call and heard screaming in the background. A woman subsequently told officers that children had been playing with the phone. A deputy reported the children were "admonished."
POINT REYES STATION - A deputy found a horse loose on Highway 1 and corralled it.
BOLINAS - A Brighton Avenue woman at 8:30 p.m. complained that a man was at her house, demanding money owed him. A deputy gave her advice.

INVERNESS - A woman accepted a ride home from a strange man. After he left, she felt uneasy and at 2:20 a.m. asked for extra patrols around her house.
BOLINAS - A woman told deputies she was threatened by several juveniles when she told them not to smoke marijuana. A deputy could not find the juveniles.
SAN GERONIMO - A bicycle for a small child was found in a Meadow Way yard.
POINT REYES STATION - A father asked deputies for help in contacting his daughter, with whom he hadn't spoken in three years. An officer left a message on her answering machine, asking her to call her father.
POINT REYES STATION - Two vehicles collided near the library. Nobody was injured.
BOLINAS - A Horseshoe Hill Road resident at 4 a.m. heard a blast that sounded like a gunshot. All was quiet when a deputy arrived.
DILLON BEACH - County firefighters were dispatched to aid a sick man with an injured arm. The man was transported by ambulance to a hospital.
BOLINAS - A woman at 1:55 a.m. complained that a "previously employed" man had taken to sleeping in a truck parked on Wharf Road.
