TOMALES - A Mendocino County woman reportedly tore the shirt of another woman, kicked in her car door, and punched her several times in the face at a wedding reception. A deputy shut down the party.
BOLINAS - A man complained that someone had painted threatening words about him on a tarp.
OLEMA - A man wearing fatigues went into a store to buy two beers, then asked if the clerk thought of himself as "tough." The man left and returned brandishing an eight-inch knife. He chased the clerk out of the store and then disappeared in a truck driven by another man.
TOMALES - A thief stole a roll of barbed wire and eight fence posts from a ranch.
BOLINAS - Deputies cited six minors at a reggae concert for possessing alcohol.
LUCAS VALLEY ROAD - A resident complained that someone stole mail from his mailbox. The loss was unknown, but probably included Christmas cards.
HICKS VALLEY - The fire department noticed a woman with her arms crossed standing by the road for an hour. The woman had been picked up by a motorist by the time a deputy arrived.
MARSHALL - A landowner wanted a man living on his property who had a boat anchored offshore to either pay rent or leave.
POINT REYES STATION - A county employee said a man had threatened "to get a gun and shoot everyone in Civic Center." A deputy searched Bolinas for the man but did not find him.
BOLINAS - A man reported that another man was stealing tapes from a store. He then told deputies there was a "miscommunication" and no tapes were stolen.
TOMALES - Two Holstein cattle got loose from a ranch. A deputy and a neighboring rancher helped corral them.
NICASIO - A resident complained of continuing problems with a neighbor's barking dog.
WOODACRE - A woman said a man tailgated her west up White's Hill. She said she pulled over at a market, where the man yelled at her. A deputy gave her advice.
LAGUNITAS - Two complaints came in around midnight of a loud party on Lagunitas Road with music and yelling. Deputies abated the problem.
BOLINAS - An anonymous caller complained that a business was parking junker cars and two trucks on the street, creating traffic and parking problems. A deputy gave the caller advice.
STINSON BEACH - A man said his $300 cellular phone was missing from his luggage, which had just been delivered from San Francisco airport. A deputy suggested he call the airport police.
LAGUNITAS - A man complained that his wife was beating him up. Their son, however, explained that there was no fight and that both adults were very drunk.
TOMALES - Vandals threw rocks through two windows at the elementary school.
INVERNESS - A woman reported getting phone calls from a heavy breather for several weeks.
DILLON BEACH - The owner of a vacation home on Tahiti Way was told by her housekeeper that two unknown women had been staying in the house for two days. Red flashing lights were seen inside the house. Also, the pair had been spotted washing a Mercedes in the driveway. Deputies arrested a man and a woman on trespassing charges.
LAGUNITAS - A woman reported a fire at her house. She then also asked for an ambulance, saying she had been "feeling nervous" and that "a lot has been going on lately."
STINSON BEACH - A resident complained that a man in a Cadillac was sitting in front of her house. The man had approached her and asked about someone, then got angry and started walking around her property.
STINSON BEACH - Deputies dispersed a loud party and bonfire at the beach.
FOREST KNOLLS - A man told deputies that a bicycle had been left outside his gate for more than a day.
MARSHALL-PETALUMA RD - A rancher complained that someone has been stealing trees and evergreen branches from his property over the last year. Deputies took a report.
POINT REYES STATION - Two men were reported fishing in a no-fishing zone.
WOODACRE - A resident complained of a loud party with "lots of screaming." The party was breaking up when a deputy arrived.
STINSON BEACH - A landlord said his tenants had left a barking dog in their house. He said he wanted to kick in the door and have the Humane Society take away the dog. A deputy gave him advice.
NATIONAL SEASHORE - A semi-truck went off Sir Francis Drake Boulevard just south of Johnson's Oysters.
ėNVERNESS - A resident reported a suspicious-looking man driving a VW bus in the neighborhood. Deputies could not find the bus.
BOLINAS - A woman complained of a drunk man sitting on her couch refusing to leave. The man left when deputies arrived.
LAGUNITAS - A tow-truck driver asked deputies to stand by while he towed away a vehicle. He said the last time he had tried to tow away a car in a wooded area, someone pulled a gun on him.
POINT REYES STATION -A merchant reported that a silver-and-glass bracelet had been stolen from her shop.
POINT REYES STATION - Deputies took a report from a woman who received "a suspicious letter" about child molestation.
BOLINAS - A woman reported that her husband was holding her face down on a bed, making it hard for her to breathe. The husband was arrested on charges of spousal abuse.
WOODACRE - A man complained of receiving 25 hangup phone calls.
FOREST KNOLLS - A man was arrested on a warrant at Juarez Avenue and Montezuma Road.
POINT REYES STATION - A deputy arrested a 43-year-old man at Highway 1 and B Street on charges of public drunkenness.
TOMALES - A high school student reported that CDs, and CD player, money, and clothing had been stolen from her purse in October. She valued the loss at $781.
MARSHALL - A deputy reported that a rancher had prevented the driver of a yellow pickup truck from leaving the Soulejule Reservoir for an hour and 45 minutes by blocking the exit with an unoccupied vehicle. The officer said the Marshall-Petaluma Road rancher had also manipulated the lock on an AT&T gate so the motorist couldn't use that exit either.
INVERNESS - A woman left her purse in a delicatessen. When she retrieved it 45 minutes later, $40 was missing.
INVERNESS - A deputy gave a man advice after a temporary restraining order was issued against him in a domestic-violence case.
INVERNESS - A man on Aberdeen Way complaining of a dog barking on Madrone Avenue. The Humane Society then called the dog's home, and a houseguest took the animal inside.
BOLINAS - Rocks were cleared off Highway 1.
MARSHALL - A woman complained that a neighbor in his 40s hides in the bushes to watch her drive by.
LAGUNITAS - Deputies received a 911 call from Arroyo Road with no caller. However, over the open line, they could hear a woman screaming at her kids and them screaming. Officers could not make out what was being said.
SAN GERONIMO - A citizen was arrested at Meadow View Lane on a warrant for failing to appear in court.
WOODACRE - A woman said her car had been burglarized in San Francisco, and her identification and other items were lost. She asked for extra patrols around her house.
LAGUNITAS - Deputies received a complaint about a parked car blocking North Alta Avenue. When a deputy tried to check, her patrolcar got stuck and had to be towed. During the towing, the patrolcar was damaged. As it turned out, the parked car was not blocking the road.
NICASIO - Deputies were notified of a Black Angus bull on the Point Reyes-Petaluma Road. Officers could not find the bull.
POINT REYES STATION - Deputies received a complaint that loud music from a bar was making a resident's house vibrate at 10:15 p.m. An officer checked and reported, "The band is now quiet."
INVERNESS - An Aberdeen Way landlord evicted a mother and daughter and then asked for extra patrols lest they return.
LAGUNITAS - Four residences on Spring Road had to be evacuated because of a leaking propane tank.
JEWELL - Deputies received a report of "a little black calf" on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard but could not find the calf.
FOREST KNOLLS - A woman on Castro Street reported two men fighting outside a bar. She later reported they had stopped fighting and were walking toward the town park.
WOODACRE - A wife said her husband, 44, who was drunk, was calling her names. She noted the fight was not physical.
LAGUNITAS - A woman accused her ex-boyfriend of trespassing.
SAN GERONIMO - A man reported a $400 chainsaw had been stolen from his residence, which is for sale. He added that the theft may have occurred during an openhouse.
POINT REYES STATION - A businessman told deputies the bumper of his truck was stolen during the night and a floor buffer had been taken from the truck, which was parked on Fourth Street.
BOLINAS - A woman reported that a man, who appeared to be very drunk, was yelling obscenities on Wharf Road. The yelling ended before a deputy arrived. The officer determined the man was not drunk and turned him over to his mother.
STINSON BEACH - A man found a babystroller at the Matt Davis Trailhead.
NICASIO - Minor slides west of Big Rock sent bowling-ball-size rocks onto Lucas Valley Road. Deputies referred the problem to the Highway Patrol.
BOLINAS - A man approached a citizen at a business concerning an overdue balance and said, "He collects," according to the citizen, who reported feeling threatened. A deputy gave advice to both people.
POINT REYES STATION - A Campolindo Road woman complained of a loose dog on Mesa Road that acted aggressively toward her. A deputy found the dog at the scene and noted it appeared "okay."
BOLINAS - Deputies found a car in underbrush at Cherry Drive and Maple Road. Although it had been there a long time, it appeared to be in good shape.
FOREST KNOLLS - A woman complained that two teenage girls had tailgated her car through a school zone and then passed her car over a double-yellow line. Deputies notified the Highway Patrol.
INVERNESS - A resident found a bicycle at the Point Reyes-Petaluma Road-Highway 1 intersection in Point Reyes Station. He reported it to the sheriff's substation.
DILLON BEACH - A thief stole a gas can, a boat seat, and fishing gear together worth $500 from a camper.
TOMALES - A woman told deputies she had hit her head and received bruises when a man threw her against a kitchen counter in a home on Tomales Road. She said he had assaulted her several times in the past two days.
BOLINAS - A woman reported her ex-boyfriend, 40, came to her home and got angry when she wouldn't let him stay. She said he broke a lamp before leaving.
STINSON BEACH - A woman lost a $400 wedding ring on the beach.
FOREST KNOLLS - A Fish and Game warden reported some men in their 30s were fishing in a no-fishing zone. He asked deputies to cite them, but officers could not find the men.
HICKS VALLEY - County firefighters asked deputies to check on a man at the side of the road in a sleeping bag. Firefighters later called back to say the man was just sleeping.
BOLINAS - A vandal during the night smashed the driver's side window and mirror of a woman's vehicle parked on Brighton Avenue.
SAN GERONIMO - A woman reported her ex-boyfriend in Santa Rosa was harassing her by phone over their small son.
BOLINAS -A woman reported a neighbor placed a trailer at Poplar and Locust roads and built a bonfire. She said people from the trailer were allowing their dogs to run free and the dogs were attacking her dogs and cats. Deputies also received a 4 a.m. call complaining of loud music from the campers. An officer checked and asked them to quiet down.
LAGUNITAS - A man said a vandal had damaged his and his mother's vehicles. He added that he suspects his neighbors and asked for extra patrols around his house.
LAGUNITAS - A man on Alta Avenue said his home's window had been cracked and may have been shot out.
WOODACRE - A woman on Conifer Way reported her partner was killing a bird and had pushed her out of the way to get to the bird. She said he was "not violent" but can "snap on a moment's notice." Later a friend of hers called to say her partner had returned and was starting another disturbance.
FOREST KNOLLS - A woman on North Montezuma Avenue reported hearing about 25 gunshots above Armstrong Fire Road. Deputies could not find anyone shooting.
WOODACRE - A woman asked for help in dealing with her son, 11, who was in his room being "violent to things." She later reported he was "now throwing stuff."
POINT REYES STATION - A motorist reported a second vehicle carrying five males followed the motorist for several miles before pulling off the Point Reyes-Petaluma Road. The motorist said the five looked like they could be up to no good, but deputies could not find them.
NICASIO - A resident told deputies a lost and frightened woman was at the resident's gate at midnight, trying to find an address on Lucas Valley Road. A deputy agreed to escort the woman to her destination.
SAN GERONIMO - A woman said a man at her apartment was being verbally abusive. When he began picking up kitchen knives, she went to a neighboring apartment. She told deputies the man was now outside the neighboring apartment, possibly trying to get in.
FOREST KNOLLS - A woman asked a deputy to stand by while she picked up belongings from a house on Rosario Road. She later called deputies to say her life had been threatened and wanted a dispatcher to notify her attorney. Deputies noted the woman had "no problems at this time."
BOLINAS - A merchant reported an insane man was being "off the wall" and going through the merchant's recycling. When the merchant confronted him, the man "went off," the merchant said. However, when a deputy contacted the man, he was cooperative and left.
STINSON BEACH - A man asked that a deputy stand by while he retrieved clothing from a home on Avenida Olema. There is a court order temporarily restraining him from bothering people at the residence.
DILLON BEACH - An upset woman reported problems with a man on Valley Ford-Franklin School Road. She said she wanted to be taken to her mother's house. Deputies noted she might have been injured.
SAN GERONIMO - Deputies received a report of three males looking into a car parked near the golf course.
POINT REYES STATION - The Highway Patrol reported a man lying beside Highway 1. Firefighters who responded said the man was just resting.
BOLINAS - A man told deputies he was in a business when another man shoved him but was, in turn, knocked down by a female merchant. Deputies said the fight grew out of a dispute over data on a computer.
SAN GERONIMO - A motorist hit a deer at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Nicasio Valley Road but wasn't sure if the animal was dead. Deputies referred the matter to the Humane Society.
POINT REYES STATION - A man complained about people revving their motors in a lot nextdoor at 8 p.m. Deputies could not find the people.
FOREST KNOLLS - A woman told deputies she could hear thumping sounds coming from the basement of her home on Resaca Avenue. An officer checked but heard and saw nothing.
FOREST KNOLLS - A burglar alarm sounded in a business at 2 a.m. A deputy determined a cat had set the alarm off.
TOMALES - Deputies received a complaint of two males drinking on high school property, then heading for the elementary school, and throwing beer cans on school grounds. An officer checked both schools but found no one.
WOODACRE - A man complained of receiving annoying phone calls.
