POINT REYES STATION A man at 11:45 a.m. Saturday reported that after items were unloaded from a moving van, an antique desk was stolen at Fourth and B streets. Deputies at that location also received a complaint from a woman who said a nearby Open Studios sign made of metal had been stolen.
NICASIO A man at 1:02 a.m. Saturday reported there were "ghosts" in his house, which caused deputies to question his emotional stability. He also said five "deadbeat" people, whom he asked to leave, had been in his house when he came home. He said his wife was in the house and that he owned a Beretta pistol although it was not in his possession at that time.
SAN GERONIMO Deputies and medics responded at 1:10 a.m. Monday when 98-year-old resident of San Geronimo Valley Drive fell, injured her head, and received a small cut to her right ankle.
INVERNESS An overnight guest at an inn called deputies at 10:49 a.m. Sunday and reported that a man, against whom she is securing a temporary restraining order, had been harassing her. She said he was now in the lobby and that his white truck was parked outside.
INVERNESS A Kehoe Way resident at 1:29 p.m. Sunday complained about people cutting down trees. He said he didnt think the noise should be allowed on a Sunday, but a deputy told him that county law allows people to use chainsaws on Sundays during the daytime.
WOODACRE Deputies received a report at 1:32 p.m. Sunday that an 18-month-old boy with heart problems had passed out. He had been hiccuping but had now stopped. He was breathing, deputies were told.
INVERNESS PARK Deputies and medics responded at 4:01 p.m. Sunday when 57-year-old Roberts Drive resident, whod had a hip replacement, reported the hip had "popped out" of its joint when he bent over. He said hed had several recent dislocations. Medics transported him to Kaiser Hospital.
DILLON BEACH A woman at 7:34 p.m. Saturday summoned deputies and medics after her 47-year-old husband passed out. He was now conscious but dizzy, she said, and had passed out twice that evening. On one occasion, she said, her husband had struck the side of his head on something. She noted her husband had eye surgery a month ago but wasnt sure if that was related. The wife then said that her husband appeared to be passing out again.
MARSHALL A deputy at 9:20 p.m. Saturday reported there had been a non-injury crash near downtown and that a vehicle was stuck a foot off the roadway. The Highway Patrol called for a towtruck.
STINSON BEACH A Seadrift Road resident at 2:41 a.m. Sunday reported that fireworks had been going off all night, possibly on the beach. The last firework had gone off only a minute earlier, the resident said.
INVERNESS PARK Firefighters put out an oven fire at 11:52 a.m. Saturday.
LAGUNITAS A Mountain View Avenue resident at 3:48 p.m. Saturday reported a thief had stolen a FasTrack and cell phone from his vehicle.
WOODACRE A man at 4:42 p.m. Saturday reported a suspicious Ford pickup truck was parked at Railroad Avenue and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. He said there were toolboxes in the truckbed and wires hanging out of it. A deputy determined that the truck is registered to a Mill Valley resident.
SAMUEL TAYLOR PARK A man at 5:18 p.m. Saturday reported that 13 Boy Scouts at the Devils Gulch Campground were having trouble with people in an adjacent site. The man said the people had taken over a campsite reserved by the scouts. A state park ranger was dispatched to the scene.
BOLINAS A woman on Wharf Road at 5:25 p.m. Saturday complained that a man, who had just left in a white, Ford pickup truck, had been making a scene in front of customers where she works. A deputy abated the problem.
STINSON BEACH A Laurel Avenue resident at 6:01 p.m. Saturday reported that a threatening note had been left during the night on the windshield of her car.
WOODACRE A man at 6:19 p.m. Saturday reported being told by a woman that her estranged husband had poked and pushed her prior to the mans arrival. He said there had been a verbal, if not a physical, disturbance. The man said he thinks the estranged husband is having a mental breakdown.
LAGUNITAS A caller at 1:01 a.m. Saturday reported hearing a loud crash on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, possibly caused by a car colliding with a parked car. The caller said someone might be trying to leave the scene. It turned out there had been a head-on collision, which blocked 75 percent of the roadway. A firefighter reported that a youth with blood on his face was seen walking away from the crash.
POINT REYES STATION A resident at 2:11 a.m. Saturday reported that two people in a small vehicle parked on Lorraine Avenue might be burglars. He said they had now driven away.
WOODACRE A woman at 8:06 p.m. last Thursday reported hearing two gunshots behind her house, adding that they "sounded close." She said she then heard a gate squeaking open. The woman said she had called a week ago to report a similar incident.
INVERNESS A caretaker at 9:58 a.m. last Thursday reported that an 85-year-old Sir Francis Drake Boulevard resident was unable to get out of bed because of weakness and possible liver problems. The caretaker said the resident was coherent now but not when she woke up.
BOLINAS Deputies and medics at 11:14 a.m. last Thursday responded to a Highway 1 address when a 13-year-old boy injured his right shoulder in a football game. The boy, who may have been going into shock, was transported to a hospital.
SAN GERONIMO A resident at 12:49 p.m. last Thursday reported that her sons truck had been tampered with and that lug nuts on both right tires had been loosened. A deputy determined there had been no tampering. The tires had merely been changed.
WOODACRE A landlord at 5:03 p.m. last Thursday reported that her tenant, who may have a mental disorder, had just been struck by her boyfriend. The tenant was "in a lot of pain," the landlord was quoted as saying. The landlord added that her tenants boyfriend had left.
FOREST KNOLLS A resident at 9:53 p.m. last Wednesday notified deputies that his ex-girlfriend had just broken his antique, leaded-glass door and spit in his face. The resident said his ex-girlfriend, whom he believes also lives in Forest Knolls, had just left in a taxi.
INVERNESS PARK A woman at 11:01 p.m. last Wednesday reported that a group of youths in a pullout along Portola Avenue might be up to no good. A deputy could not find the youths.
NICASIO A deputy on Nicasio Valley Road at 1:43 a.m. last Thursday warned a motorist that it was illegal in Marin to spend the night sleeping in a car parked beside the road.
NICASIO Fifteen minutes after a woman notified Santa Rosa Police her car had been stolen, a West Marin sheriffs deputy at 2:57 a.m. last Thursday found it parked along the Point Reyes-Petaluma Road. All four wheels had been stolen. Deputies dusted the Honda for fingerprints.
BOLINAS A woman at 8:19 a.m. last Wednesday told deputies that she had spotted her landlord looking through a window at her as she got out of the shower. She said she has seen him on the roof nextdoor looking in her windows and that he was now on the roof. Deputies noted there are "ongoing problems" between the tenant and landlord.
POINT REYES STATION Sheriffs Lt. Rich Ginnodo, commander of the West Marin Substation, has asked The Light to let readers know that a campaign to remove abandoned cars is underway in West Marin. Lt. Ginnodo said the Sheriffs Office will arrange to have abandoned vehicles towed off private property, as well as public property, if the landowner signs a release. BOLINAS A woman at a restaurant at 6:20 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 12 reported a man had violated a restraining order in a domestic-violence case.
BOLINAS A man at 2:15 p.m. last Wednesday notified deputies he had left his pickup truck unattended for 10 minutes, and during that time a thief stole a wetsuit and accessories valued at $460.
OLEMA A woman summoned a deputy and Highway Patrol officer at 8:41 p.m. last Wednesday to get a cow off Highway 1. The officers put the cow back in its pasture.
LAGUNITAS A Point Reyes Station woman at 9 p.m. Friday reported a green Volkswagen had overturned on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. She said its female driver was "ambulatory" but in shock, deputies reported.
WOODACRE A San Geronimo Valley Drive resident at 8:33 p.m. Friday said she heard something downtown that sounded like a gunshot but which was probably a firecracker.
STINSON BEACH A woman at 10:51 a.m. Friday reported a 54-year-old man had passed out and struck his head after taking a hot tub. She said he was now conscious but "extremely disoriented" and had a lump on the back of his head. The woman added that the man previously fell and lost consciousness a month ago.
FOREST KNOLLS A resident at 9:46 a.m. Friday reported her neighbors girlfriend had thrown a sake cup through the rear window of the residents vehicle. The woman said her neighbor had acknowledged his girlfriend did it but said the vandalism was not directed at her. The woman, however, "says the girlfriend appears to have some anger," a deputy reported.
NICASIO A Nicasio Valley Road resident at 1:39 p.m. Friday reported a vandal had smashed the pipes coming out of his spring and had poured gasoline in the fuel tank of his diesel tractor. He added that he was having trouble with a neighbor.
FOREST KNOLLS A woman at 1:55 p.m. Friday accused her landlord of making verbal threats and being abusive to her. The woman said she had begun seeking an emergency protective order against her landlord but missed the cutoff date.
POINT REYES STATION Deputies at 3:33 p.m. Friday received a report from a "hysterical" woman who claimed a mechanic was dumping anti-freeze in an alley. The woman told deputies she feared that animals might drink the liquid. A deputy was dispatched to check on her welfare.
FOREST KNOLLS A merchant at 7:26 p.m. last Thursday reported her business had been vandalized. She said she suspected family members were to blame because there is an ongoing family dispute.
BOLINAS A Cherry Drive resident at 7:26 p.m. last Thursday complained that a 25-year-old man is illegally living in a blue Chevrolet van, which he frequently moves. A deputy advised the man to move to a designated campsite.
POINT REYES STATION A rescue helicopter was summoned at 8:11 p.m. last Thursday to transport a 66-year-old man suffering from cancer to Petaluma Valley Hospital.
OLEMA A sheriffs deputy and Highway Patrol officer responded at 9:21 p.m. last Thursday when a black-and-white cow got loose on Highway 1. The officers returned the cow to its pasture and fixed a hole in the pastures fence.
POINT REYES STATION A Highway 1 resident at 11:16 p.m. last Thursday told deputies "he is losing his mind," an officer reported. A deputy checked on the mans welfare.
FOREST KNOLLS A Tamal Road resident at 9:51 a.m. last Thursday asked for advice regarding a landlord-tenant dispute. She said her landlord is another woman who lives on the same property. A deputy gave her advice. At 4:03 p.m. Monday, the tenant called deputies again, complaining that her landlord was harassing her over the stacking of firewood. She told deputies she had called them because she was tired, adding that she would try to get a court to issue a restraining order against her landlord.
WOODACRE A Carson Road resident at 9:53 a.m. last Thursday complained that her neighbor often double-parks on a curve.
NATIONAL SEASHORE A Spanish-speaking man at 3:24 p.m. last Thursday with the help of a translator and the Highway Patrol told deputies he had been picked up by a stranger, driven across the Golden Gate Bridge, and taken up the coast. The stranger had told him he would take him to find fish but didnt, the man said. He added that he had been under the impression that the stranger would return him to San Francisco.
BOLINAS An Ocean Avenue resident at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday complained about mechanics working on cars nearby and making too much noise. A deputy contacted the mechanics, who agreed to stop working for the night.
NICASIO A Nicasio Valley Road resident at 7:21 a.m. Tuesday told deputies that he and a neighbor share a common driveway and that after he chained and locked the driveways gate, the other man took the chain and lock with him to work. A deputy gave the resident advice and said he would call the other man. At 8:39 a.m. the resident called back to say the chain was six feet long and that there were actually two locks.
TOMALES County firefighters at 7:21 a.m. Tuesday notified deputies and Highway Patrol officers that cows on Dillon Beach Road were creating a traffic hazard. Firefighters said the Humane Society was contacting local ranchers who might own the cows.
WOODACRE A deputy on Fire Road at 8:14 a.m. Tuesday arrested someone on a warrant from a drunk-driving case.
SAN GERONIMO A 70-year-old man at 1:03 p.m. Tuesday told deputies he had gastro-intestinal bleeding and felt lightheaded. He added that he was constipated.
DILLON BEACH A man at 1:58 p.m. Tuesday told deputies there was a sheep on Ocean Drive. He later reported the sheep had found its way back into its pasture.
POINT REYES STATION Deputies and medics responded at 6:49 p.m. Tuesday when a woman on Mesa Road suffered a heart attack or stroke.
FOREST KNOLLS A Sir Francis Drake Boulevard resident at 7:53 p.m. Sunday complained that a man and woman were yelling at each other in their residence. She said it was an ongoing problem. A deputy was unable to find any disturbance and surmised the dispute had possibly been abated.
BOLINAS A merchant at 9:28 p.m. Tuesday complained that his 41-year-old wife was throwing his belongings onto Wharf Road. Noting that the two had no history of domestic violence, deputies merely separated them.
MUIR BEACH Deputies and county firefighter/medics responded at 9:33 p.m. Sunday when a vehicle plunged 100 feet off Highway 1.
STINSON BEACH A Calle del Resaca resident at 10:52 p.m. Sunday complained that four people had a large fire on the beach. A deputy told them the fire was illegal, and the group agreed to put it out.
STINSON BEACH At 11:24 a.m. Sunday, a woman at a nearby Calle del Resaca address said she wanted deputies to see how her neighbor has created a fire hazard by stacking firewood against the house. She said he had refused to cooperate with her requests that he move it. Firefighters handled the matter.
STINSON BEACH Deputies at 11:51 a.m. Sunday received a call from a third Calle del Resaca address on the same block, with the caller reporting a verbal disturbance was underway as a result of a fence-line dispute. The caller asked for a deputy to come to the scene.
BOLINAS Deputies at 12:34 p.m. Sunday received a report of loose cattle at the intersection of Horseshoe Hill Road and Highway 1. An officer could not find them.
BOLINAS Deputies and firefighters at 2:58 p.m. Sunday received a report that an eight-year-old boy was stuck in mud on the beach and that the tide was coming in. The boy freed himself before rescuers arrived.
MUIR BEACH A man at 4:13 p.m. Sunday reported a gold-colored Buick had run partly off Highway 1 and that there was an elderly man climbing up an embankment. The Highway Patrol responded.
POINT REYES STATION Deputies at 6:33 p.m. Sunday received a report that an SUV had run off Highway 1 and into a ditch near the Point Reyes-Petaluma Road intersection. The Highway Patrol arranged for the car to be towed out of the ditch.

The man, who had previously been charged with driving despite a suspended license, was released from custody, but his Chevrolet Nova was impounded.
DILLON BEACH Deputies at 11:30 p.m. Saturday received a call from Marin View Drive that a 19-year-old male was barely breathing and looked pale. The boy told officers there had been a dispute, that he did not want medical attention, and that he was leaving. Deputies then spoke to a woman who said she had hit the boy.
STINSON BEACH A Buena Vista Avenue resident at 9:27 a.m. Saturday reported that two days earlier he had stopped someone from burglarizing his vehicle after its rear window had already been slashed.
STINSON BEACH A bar at 6:45 p.m. Saturday reported a very drunk man wanted to drive off, but other people had gotten his keys away from him.

BOLINAS A Highway 1 resident at 2 a.m. Nov. 2 accused another man of punching him in the face.
BOLINAS A Highway 1 resident at 8:13 a.m. Monday reported that the previous day an older gold/brown car driven by a man in his 40s with a "pirate-style bandanna" and carrying a white-haired septuagenarian passenger had followed her son. The "text" of the dispatchers report was merely "teeth and reading glasses," offering no further explanation.
POINT REYES STATION At 1:31 p.m. Monday a teacher reported that vandals during the weekend broke windows and several exterior lights at the school.
FOREST KNOLLS At 4:58 p.m. Monday a woman complained about a man putting up posters disparaging her and her business. She said he was an ongoing problem and that she had started the process of getting a court to issue an order restraining him from harassing her. A deputy advised her to finish the process.
WOODACRE Deputies at 1:23 a.m. Monday received a hangup 911 call from a home on Central Avenue. When officers called back, the line was busy. When they called back a second time, a resident said a cat had accidentally made the call.
STINSON BEACH A woman at 2:36 a.m. Monday reported being groped by someone she knows. Deputies took a sexual-battery report.
INVERNESS Deputies received a report at 8:37 a.m. Sunday that an 80-year-old woman with a history of health problems had gained 18 pounds in a few days, forcing her to sleep sitting up.
POINT REYES STATION A man at 10:18 a.m. Sunday told deputies that a male in his 40s, who had been reported missing, had been hiding at a beach. The first man said a woman had seen the supposedly missing man waiting for a bookstore to open.
POINT REYES STATION A ranger at 11:10 a.m. Sunday notified deputies there was a loose cow at the north end of town near the Bovine Bakery. A rancher at the south end of town said the cow was his and that he would pick it up.
FOREST KNOLLS A Sir Francis Drake Boulevard resident living in a travel trailer at 1:04 p.m. Sunday told deputies that her stepmother keeps calling her and has shown up at her home, making threats.
STINSON BEACH A Calle del Pradero resident at 4:23 p.m. Sunday reported that a woman in her 20s had left a dead bird wrapped in a jacket on his deck. The man said the woman, who was wearing all-black clothing, was now walking up and down the beach screaming at people. The resident added the woman "appears under the influence."
SAN GERONIMO A woman at 4:36 p.m. Sunday reported that another woman, who is in her 50s, had been talking about suicide for an hour.
INVERNESS A Laurel Avenue resident at 5:43 p.m. Sunday reported that three 10-year-old boys with rock-climbing gear had been climbing telephone poles in the neighborhood. She said she had stopped them from climbing one pole, which had a beehive on it, and was concerned for their safety. The boys were gone when a deputy arrived.
INVERNESS A man at 9:46 p.m. Sunday reported a chimney fire at a home on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.
POINT REYES STATION A Highway 1 resident at 9:50 p.m. Sunday told deputies that she had called her neighbors to complain about their dogs barking. The neighbors responded by cursing her and are now shining a bright light into her residence, she said. The resident said she believed the neighbors had been drinking. A deputy replied that he would attempt to contact them.
WOODACRE An anonymous caller at 11:47 p.m. Saturday complained about a loud party. All was quiet when a deputy arrived.
FOREST KNOLLS A passenger at 3:47 a.m. Sunday reported that a truck had run off a road and down an embankment. A deputy found three people at the scene. One was drunk.
BOLINAS A man at 2:08 p.m. Saturday told deputies that three or four apparently homeless people were drinking at a Brighton Avenue church. He said this is an increasing problem. A deputy contacted three people at the scene. None was drunk, but he moved all of them along.
FOUR CORNERS A rancher at 2:50 p.m. Saturday reported that someone had gone four-wheel-driving on his property earlier in the day. He asked a deputy to check the tire tracks.
DOGTOWN Firefighters at 8:11 p.m. Friday reported a car had overturned on Highway 1. The Highway Patrol handled the matter.
POINT REYES STATION A caller at 11:43 p.m. Friday complained about loud music. A bartender agreed to close the outside doors and keep the noise level down.
BOLINAS An Overlook Drive resident at 7:21 a.m. Friday reported that during the night stereos and possibly other property had been stolen from two vehicles.
PT. REYES-PETALUMA ROAD A woman at 8:31 a.m. reported that a stolen vehicle had been abandoned on her property. Two tires were missing from the Honda, she said. The Highway Patrol handled the matter.
INVERNESS PARK A resident at 11:42 a.m. Friday walked into the Point Reyes Sheriffs Substation to report a stereo had been stolen during the night from a car parked on Portola Avenue.
BOLINAS A resident at 2:19 p.m. Friday reported that a vandal had damaged the fender of her VW Jetta while it was parked on Oak Road.
HICKS VALLEY Deputies at 3:40 p.m. Friday received word that a schoolbus had run off Hicks Valley Road, but no one was injured. The Highway Patrol handled the matter.
POINT REYES STATION A woman at 5:26 p.m. Friday reported her cell phone had been stolen on Lorraine Avenue.
POINT REYES STATION A Mesa Road resident at 3:14 a.m. Friday told deputies she had heard her car door slam and then saw someone with a flashlight running in her yard. She then heard a vehicle speed off toward downtown, the resident added. She said her husband had given chase in her car.
BOLINAS A resident at 6:54 a.m. Friday reported her vehicle parked on Overlook Drive had been broken into and two backpacks had been stolen. One contained $1,000 in cash, she said, and the other contained school supplies.
BOLINAS A man at 10:32 a.m. last Thursday reported a large truck carrying four septic tanks was stopped on Highway 1, blocking the northbound lane on a curve and creating a traffic hazard.
INVERNESS A man at 10:33 a.m. last Thursday reported a kayak had been lost or stolen from Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.
STINSON BEACH A Buena Vista Avenue resident at 10:39 a.m. last Thursday reported a window had blown open at the home of weekender neighbors, whom she doesnt know. The resident asked if she could shut the window to prevent water damage. A deputy gave her the go-ahead, and she said she would leave a message for the owners.
INVERNESS A woman on Cameron Street at 11:19 a.m. last Thursday reported losing a silver ring.
SAN GERONIMO A woman at 11:28 a.m. last Thursday reported a vandal had broken pumpkins and corn stalks at the school. A broken bottle of rum had been found nearby, she said.
STINSON BEACH A pregnant woman at 11:57 a.m. last Thursday notified deputies she was going into labor five weeks early. She concluded the call quickly, saying she wanted to contact her husband so he could drive her to a hospital.
BOLINAS A man at 11:58 a.m. last Thursday reported receiving threats. A deputy gave him advice.
MUIR BEACH Deputies at 1:53 a.m. last Thursday received a call from a 76-year-old man with a history of medical problems, who might be having a medical crisis.
LAGUNITAS A handicapped woman at 8:10 p.m. last Wednesday asked that a deputy remove a dead squirrel from in front of her gate.
BOLINAS A Wharf Road resident at 9:24 p.m. last Wednesday notified deputies a large van with three people inside was parked in her driveway. A deputy found that one of the three was extremely drunk and detained the person.
HICKS VALLEY The Highway Patrol at 1:30 a.m. last Wednesday reported a pickup truck had run off the road and 20 feet down an embankment. One person had a leg injury but refused medical treatment.
MUIR BEACH A Highway 1 resident at 9:16 a.m. last Wednesday reported receiving harassing phone calls on her answering machine for more than a year. She said someone stays on the phone for a few minutes and then hangs up.
LAGUNITAS A man at 10:57 a.m. last Wednesday reported that someone had stolen the rear license plate off his car.
BOLINAS A nurse at 11:01 a.m. last Wednesday notified deputies that after a 13-year-old girl and her mother had arrived at the school, the girl locked herself in a strangers vehicle and was refusing to attend classes.
OLEMA An English woman at 12:06 p.m. last Wednesday reported she had lost her wallet at the campground. It contained credit cards and $350 in cash, she said.
POINT REYES STATION An older woman fell in a store at 3:37 p.m. last Wednesday and was taken to a medical clinic.
POINT REYES STATION Deputies at 8:24 p.m. last Wednesday received word of a loose cow on Highway 1 between Café Reyes and DeCarlis Propane. The cow was herded off the highway.
BOLINAS A 48-year-old woman whod had a hip replaced a week earlier experienced extreme pain while back at home, deputies were told at 12:41 p.m. Nov. 5.
TOMALES A Tomales-Petaluma Road resident at 1:40 p.m. Nov. 5 complained about trespassers trying to take her dog. County firefighters reported the "trespassers" were actually "two Humane Society units."
BOLINAS A Wharf Road merchant at 2:43 p.m. Nov. 5 reported being threatened by a man who has been involved in several recent disturbances.
INVERNESS PARK A woman tripped and fell against furniture at 3:48 p.m. Nov. 5, possibly breaking her shoulder. She was transported to a hospital by medics.
BOLINAS A merchant at 4:43 p.m. Nov. 5 notified deputies that a woman in her 20s was throwing scissors at people outside a bar. The merchant said the woman had previously been 86d from the bar.
LAGUNITAS A Sir Francis Drake Boulevard resident at 5:37 p.m. Nov. 5 reported that someone he had loaned his bicycle to had left it at the entrance to Samuel P. Taylor State Park, where it was stolen.
BOLINAS A man at 8:01 p.m. Nov. 5 reported a woman was yelling at people on Wharf Road and "dancing around." The woman was transported to the county crisis unit.
POINT REYES STATION Sheriffs Lt. Rich Ginnodo, commander of the West Marin Substation, has asked The Light to let readers know that a campaign to remove abandoned cars is underway in West Marin. Lt. Ginnodo said the Sheriffs Office will arrange to have abandoned vehicles towed off private property, as well as public property, if the landowner signs a release. BOLINAS A Highway 1 resident at 7:41 p.m. Monday reported hearing a traffic accident that "sounded bad." She said her roommates were checking on it. Deputies found a small SUV had crashed into a fence.
INVERNESS PARK A resident at 8:55 p.m. Monday heard a bang and then a "woosh sound" that lasted about two minutes. A deputy checked the area, found "no wooshes or swooshes," and "no fireworks...at all."
BOLINAS A 70-year-old Horseshoe Hill Road resident at 7:49 a.m. Monday notified deputies he needed help getting up after a fall. His sister at 9:08 p.m. told deputies her brother had fallen two times and "has been out of it all day." She said he had not gotten out of bed during the day and was on oxygen. Medics transported him to a hospital.
WOODACRE A resident at 9:17 p.m. Monday reported that a man in his 20s had run up to her car at Railroad Avenue and Park Street and "seemed very upset." He told her he needed "to get out of town." She described him as barefoot with shoulder-length hair. He was gone when a deputy arrived.
FALLON A man at 12:11 p.m. Monday called deputies on behalf of a female friend living on the Fallon-Two Rock Road. He said she was having trouble with immigrant workers coming into her house and bedroom while she was home. The ranchers later reported the workers had been fired and that no further assistance from deputies was needed.
STINSON BEACH A Calle de la Ribera resident at 2:45 p.m. Monday complained that a pickup truck with a camper shell was parked near her driveway, making it difficult for her to drive in and out. A deputy determined there was no parking violation and that her boyfriend was involved in a lengthy civil dispute with her neighbors.
BOLINAS A merchant on Wharf Road at 11 p.m. Sunday complained that a woman in her late 20s was refusing to leave his business. She was gone when a deputy arrived.
BOLINAS A 63-year-old Horseshoe Hill Road resident at 11:38 p.m. Sunday fell out of bed and possibly dislocated his hip. Medics transported him by ambulance to Kaiser Hospital.
NICASIO A tree fell across Lucas Valley Road an eighth of a mile east of Big Rock at 2:42 a.m. Monday. A deputy provided traffic control while the county Department of Public Works cleared the road.
BOLINAS A 50-year-old resident of Dogwood Road at 7:38 a.m. Sunday slipped, fell, and passed out. Deputies and medics could not tell if the unconscious woman had hit her head or had a seizure before falling.
FOREST KNOLLS A woman on Juarez Avenue at 1:17 p.m. Sunday called deputies on behalf of her sister to report that a suspicious person in his early 40s wanted to take pictures of the sisters two sons. The woman said the man, who said he was working on a school project, appeared to be mentally retarded.
BOLINAS A Wharf Road resident at 1:51 p.m. Sunday complained about a woman trespassing on his property. He said she entered his property through his backyard. The woman was gone when a deputy arrived, so he could only give the resident advice.
BOLINAS A resident at 3:05 p.m. Sunday complained about someone playing a horn loudly around Overlook Drive and Ocean Parkway. He asked that a deputy make the person stop. Deputies said the resident was "uncooperative" and could provide no description of the person. An officer found a saxophone player and some guitar players at the end of Overlook. He reported they were not violating any laws.
LAGUNITAS A merchant at 4:56 p.m. Sunday reported a tree had fallen into the westbound lane of Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. Firefighters found that a large limb had fallen and removed it from the roadside.
POINT REYES STATION A Lorraine Avenue resident at 8:49 p.m. Saturday reported hearing a group of juveniles walking around setting off firecrackers. He said he was particularly concerned because of the current risk of fire. A deputy could not find the juveniles.
SAN GERONIMO A Tamarack Road resident at 9:19 p.m. Saturday reported a fire in a neighbors backyard. The fire was put out as soon as firefighters arrived.
BOLINAS A resident complained about construction noise, including hammering and sawing, at 10:41 p.m. Saturday. He said a court has issued a restraining order against the person doing the construction because the man scares his household. The second resident admitting working outside late at night, and a deputy advised him to keep the noise down.
SAN GERONIMO Deputies on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 12:15 a.m. Sunday helped Fairfax Police arrest a motorist on drunk-driving charges.
MARSHALL The Highway Patrol at 2:48 a.m. Sunday reported three cows were loose along the Marshall-Petaluma Road. Three of the cows were on the pavement, and two were grazing beside it, the CHP said.
DILLON BEACH A man on Marine View Drive at 7:07 a.m. Saturday complained that his Coleman stove had been stolen during the night and that he could now see it under a table at other peoples campsite. The people told deputies they found the stove at their campsite.
DILLON BEACH A campground representative at 11:11 a.m. Saturday reported someone had tampered with their boat yard during the night and had unsuccessfully tried to steal six outboard motors.
POINT REYES STATION Medic at 3:39 p.m. Saturday took a 70-year-old woman with chest pains to a hospital by ambulance.
NICASIO Deputies and medics responded at 3:55 p.m. Saturday when a rider fell off a horse near Nicasio Valley Road and broke a wrist. Medics transported the victim by ambulance to Marin General Hospital.
INVERNESS PARK A man at 4:25 p.m. Saturday found three vehicles stopped beside Sir Francis Drake Boulevard with the drivers arguing. One of the drivers recognized the man and asked him to call deputies. Deputies and the Highway Patrol responded.
BOLINAS A woman at 5:17 p.m. Saturday reported a 64-year-old drunken man was in the middle of Park Avenue stopping traffic. A deputy determined the man was eligible for acceptance by a detoxification center.
STINSON BEACH A sheriffs sergeant at 6:35 p.m. Saturday notified deputies a deer had been struck in traffic on Highway 1, but deputies could not find it.
POINT REYES STATION A bartender at 2 a.m. Saturday reported two people had been fighting, but one had walked away heading north up the main street while the other had driven off in a vehicle with only one headlight.
POINT REYES STATION Deputies and medics responded at 9:18 a.m. Friday when a contractor in his 20s fell 10 to 12 feet from a pole. Deputies reported the man was "conscious and alert" but was nevertheless taken by ambulance to Kaiser Hospital.
SAN GERONIMO A Sir Francis Drake Boulevard resident at 11:15 a.m. Friday reported that during the night a vandal had smashed the rear window and turn signals of his vehicle. He said there was no sign the vehicle had been entered. He added it was parked on San Geronimo Valley Drive when the vandalism occurred.
POINT REYES STATION A woman at 4:55 p.m. Friday reported losing her purse somewhere along the main street. She said the purse contained two credit cards, two Social Security cards, a drivers license, two bank cards, a checkbook, and $320 in cash.
INVERNESS Deputies provided traffic control at 5:36 p.m. Friday while firefighters fought a blaze on Aberdeen Way. Luckily, the fire was confined to an eighth of an acre of foliage. A nearby house was in the fires path.
WOODACRE A Central Avenue man at 7:12 p.m. Halloween reported vandals has written "bad words" on his car with spray paint, a deputy reported.
BOLINAS The manager of the community center at 10:43 p.m. Halloween asked to have a man, who was reputed to be a filmmaker, removed for insulting several women. He said the centers board of directors wanted the man to leave because of his "crude remarks."
BOLINAS A bartender at 12:35 a.m. Nov. 1 said someone had pushed a drunk man out the door, and the man had banged into the trunk of a car parked on Wharf Road. The bartender said a female friend of the man had driven him home.
NICASIO A deputy and a Highway Patrol officer responded at 1:14 a.m. Friday when a cow got loose on Nicasio Valley Road. The deputy later reported, "Cow returned to greener pastures."
DILLON BEACH An 81-year-old Ocean View Avenue resident at 3:44 a.m. Friday was reported to have extreme pain in his hips because of arthritis.
STINSON BEACH A power pole fell down at 10:22 a.m. Halloween at Calles del Arroyo y de la Ribera, leaving electrical lines on the pavement. Deputies barricaded the intersection until 6 p.m.
CHILENO VALLEY A rancher at 10:37 a.m. Halloween complained about ranchworkers playing loud music on a boombox. A deputy gave him advice.
WOODACRE A woman at 5 p.m. Halloween said she believed four juvenile girls were on drugs because they were waving their arms around and directing traffic at Carson Road and Railroad Avenue. When the woman asked the girls why they were waving their hands, she said, they replied, "Cuz its Halloween." A deputy determined there was no merit to the complaint of a disturbance.
WOODACRE A resident at 5:14 p.m. Halloween reported feeling frustrated as he watched three girls walking at Railroad Avenue and Carson Road carrying eggs [apparently for throwing]. He asked that a deputy check on the girls, but the officer could not find them.
TOMALES A Highway 1 resident at 3:52 a.m. Halloween reported there were youths in her house who had come in through an upstairs window. She said she could hear them whispering upstairs. She said she had seen the youths looking at her through a skylight around 10 p.m.
INVERNESS A man at 7:32 a.m. last Thursday reported a tree eight to 10 inches in diameter had fallen across Camino del Mar, blocking the roadway. The tree was removed.
WOODACRE A Redwood Drive resident at 1:03 p.m. last Thursday complained that two surveyors were on her property, were smoking, and were refusing to say what company they work for. A deputy gave the woman advice involving a property dispute, and she was satisfied with the results, he reported.
NICASIO An 11-year-old boy locked his knee and became unable to walk at 2:13 p.m. last Thursday. A parent reported the boy had experienced the problem before. He was driven to a hospital in a private vehicle.
POINT REYES STATION A Mesa Road resident last Thursday reported someone had used his Social Security number fraudulently to obtain credit to buy furniture.
INVERNESS PARK A Sir Francis Drake Boulevard resident at 10:03 p.m. Oct. 29 reported seeing fireworks that night and the previous night about that time. He said the fireworks were a half mile west of downtown.
TOMALES A woman at 9:21 a.m. Oct. 29 reported that a third-grade student had threatened to get some guns, bring them to school, and shoot people. A deputy began a report on the student, who was absent from school that day.
