RED ROCK - A burglar used a rock to smash the window of a man's car parked at the nude beach and stole property.
OLEMA - A German tourist left a fanny pack in a campground shower. When he found it, $170 in cash was missing.
DILLON BEACH - Deputies were notified at 3 a.m. that a Petaluma man, 52, was brandishing a handgun and threatening to kill several people. Deputies arrested the man on charges of brandishing a firearm and making threats.
DOGTOWN - After a student assaulted a school counselor, he was arrested on charges of assault and being out of control.
TOMALES - A deputy cited three men on charges of poaching deer and hunting on private property without permission.
INVERNESS - A burglar stole a computer from a locked vehicle parked on Inverness Way.
INVERNESS - The National Park Service received a report from a citizen, who saw a man reach through the smashed window of a car parked at Heart's Desire Beach in Tomales Bay State Park. The man then got into another car, in which there was a woman. Deputies notified state park rangers, but authorities could not find either the culprit or the victim.
STINSON BEACH - A thief stole a canoe from a Dipsea Road man's dock.
MARSHALL - A deputy investigating a suspicious vehicle parked in Miller Park at 9 p.m. found a man sleeping in the vehicle and cited him on charges of possessing marijuana and hashish.
STINSON BEACH - Someone entered a house under construction on Seadrift Road and lit a small fire. The culprit also tipped over an outhouse.
POINT REYES STATION - The Fire Department reported that breathing apparatus had either fallen off a firetruck or been stolen.
DILLON BEACH - A deputy arrested a man, 41, on charges of failing to pay child support.
POINT REYES STATION - A deputy arrested a man on Highway 1 on charges of public drunkenness.

BOLINAS - Deputies received a complaint of three or four people "carousing" behind a church. An officer advised them to leave.
STINSON BEACH - A woman complained there was a drunk man on her deck refusing to leave. A deputy determined the man didn't speak English and arranged a taxi ride for him.
INVERNESS - A woman reported her spouse had struck her. A deputy took a report.
TOMALES - A neighbor complained of loud music at 11:40 p.m. during an adult party at a Highway 1 residence. All was quiet when an officer arrived.
MARSHALL - After a boat was disabled by a "blown motor," it was beached on Millerton Point, a deputy reported.
STINSON BEACH - The Highway Patrol reported a gray Ford Escort was stolen in town.
STINSON BEACH - A tenant living along Highway 1 asked for advice after receiving a 24-hour eviction notice. A deputy gave the tenant advice.
OLEMA - A 54-year-old man hit his head and suffered back pain, along with a possibly broken arm, when thrown from a horse.
TOMALES - A rancher complained of deer hunters trespassing on his land.
STINSON BEACH - A woman walking her dog near Calle del Mar and Puente del Mar at 10 p.m. heard someone in the bushes making animal noises, she told deputies. An officer could not find anyone in the bushes.
BOLINAS - A man complained that a bartender had hit him, as well evicted him from a bar. The dispute ended before a deputy arrived, but the officer determined the bartender had not struck the man.
WOODACRE - A man backing a car out of his driveway on Railroad Avenue ended up in a ditch across the street, partially blocking traffic. The car was towed out of the ditch, however, before a deputy arrived.
NICASIO - A resident complained of a live band playing at midnight along Lucas Valley Road. All was quiet when a deputy arrived, but the officer advised the host about the county noise ordinance.
BOLINAS - A man complained about fireworks and a bonfire on Brighton Beach at 9:20 p.m. A deputy dispersed 40 adults.
DILLON BEACH - A two year old's leg was burned by hot water. The mishap occurred along Marine View Drive.
TOMALES - A woman complained at midnight about a loud party at the town hall.
NICASIO - A Fish and Game warden at 3:40 a.m. asked for a deputy to back him up during a search for a spotlighter poaching deer. The two found only a man testing a well.
DILLON BEACH - A Summer Street resident told deputies an Ocean View Avenue resident had threatened to kill him and had used a process server to send the warning. An officer determined no threat had been made.
SAN GERONIMO - A man reported his surfboard and various personal property had been stolen from a tent at a construction site on San Geronimo Valley Drive.
STINSON BEACH - A burglar broke into a pickup truck parked on Calle del Mar by smashing a window.
BOLINAS - A woman told deputies a man had hit her daughter in the face and dragged her on the ground.
TOMALES - Deputies found a stolen vehicle on North Twin Bridges Road. The vehicle was placed in storage.
NICASIO - A tree fell across Lucas Valley Road, blocking both lanes.
POINT REYES STATION - Just after midnight, a motorist northbound on Highway 1 crashed into a car parked near Point Reyes-Petaluma Road, doing major damage to the parked car and pushing it through a fence. The motorist then drove off although one tire had been flattened. Riding on one rim, the car sparked two small grass fires, which a deputy had to stop and put out with an extinguisher. The motorist abandoned his car on a ranch road and escaped on foot. Deputies found blood in the car and leading away from it.
STINSON BEACH - A man found luggage and clothing belonging to men from Calistoga and Suisun City. A deputy notified the men.
MUIR BEACH - A deputy cited a man for public nudity after deputies received a complaint of nude sunbathers on Little Beach.
POINT REYES STATION - A man was arrested on charges of stealing beer from a market.
MOON HILL - While investigating a suspicious vehicle parked beside Nicasio Valley Road, a deputy spotted a man hiding in a creek. When the deputy approached, the man fled but was stopped after a short chase. After the officer determined that no crime had occurred, he released the man.
BOLINAS - A vandal damaged the interior of a young woman's car, which was parked on Wharf Road.
TOMALES - A man complained that eight hunters were trespassing on his property and that two of them had fired rifles within 500 feet of his barn. He said he had videotaped the hunters for evidence.
BOLINAS - Deputies received a report of two people barbecuing a dog on Brighton Beach. When a deputy found the pair, they said the animal was a "roadkill raccoon." The deputy checked with the Park Service, which confirmed their claim. Rangers, however, confiscated the raccoon "for sanitary reasons," a deputy reported. Town firefighters put out the barbecue.
FOUR CORNERS - A rancher told deputies a neighboring rancher stole one of his cows and sold it in Southern California.
POINT REYES STATION - A passenger-side window of a sheriff's patrolcar was shattered during the night. A deputy reported the cause was "unknown" and speculated that changing temperatures may have shattered the glass.
MARSHALL - An oyster company worker reported a boat motor had been stolen. A deputy investigated and found the company's owner had merely removed the motor.
NICASIO - A woman complained that a vandal had damaged her mailbox, as well as numerous county signs along Nicasio Valley Road.
POINT REYES STATION - A deputy arrested a Marshall man downtown on charges of public drunkenness.
OLEMA - A restaurant customer rang up a $52.50 meal tab and left without paying.
BOLINAS - A man reported at 10 p.m. that an anonymous caller had warned him there was a prowler outside his house. A deputy could not find any prowlers.
POINT REYES STATION - A truck spilled plywood at Highway 1 and Point Reyes-Petaluma Road. A deputy provided traffic control while the lumber was picked up.
DILLON BEACH - A woman said she and her sister had been harassed by a woman who threatened to kill them. A deputy gave her advice.
FOREST KNOLLS - A resident of Morelos Avenue reported another man was harassing him. A deputy gave the resident advice.
INVERNESS - A man told deputies he was with four men and a woman in a car on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard when "all five started doing things that weren't right." The man refused to elaborate, but said that when he objected, one of the car's passengers hit him with a stick.
BOLINAS - A business' employee reported that a co-worker was harassing him and refusing to leave. He said he couldn't provide more information because he had to wait on a customer. A deputy later reported the problem had been abated.
MARSHALL - A woman reported her 21-year-old son was creating a verbal disturbance.
OLEMA - A merchant complained of customers causing a disturbance plus a vehicle stuck in the parking lot and spinning its wheels. By the time a deputy arrived, the troublemakers were gone.
FOREST KNOLLS - A man on Guadalupe Place was arrested on public drunkenness charges.
STINSON BEACH - A woman complained about a bonfire on the beach near Calle del Occidente at 9:30 p.m. A deputy contacted an adult gathering, and the people agreed to leave.
INVERNESS - A man at 10:02 p.m. complained about a loud party with live music outdoors at Woodhaven Road and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. He said he had called the hostess at 9 p.m. and she had promised the music would end at 10 p.m.
INVERNESS - A woman on Cameron Street complained of loud music at 2:20 p.m. A deputy found the music was coming from a car's stereo and abated the problem.
BOLINAS - A woman on Wharf Road complained at 3:10 a.m. about numerous people in the street making noise, as well as loud music coming from car radios All was quiet when a deputy arrived.
WOODACRE - A woman reported that garbage has been repeatedly dumped at a spot along Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. A deputy checked and found a horse truck, which had broken down during the night.
WOODACRE - Deputies received a complaint of numerous cars and a large bus parked along Rock Ridge Road, which could make it difficult for emergency vehicles to get through. An officer checked and found many vehicles parked for a wedding but no parking violations.
SAN GERONIMO - A man at 12:30 p.m. reported hearing several boys yelling, with one of them shouting, "I'm going to kill you." He said he then saw two boys running away.
NICASIO - Deputies received a report of a suspicious situation at a turnout along Nicasio Valley Road. A deputy checked and found algae in the turnout.
INVERNESS PARK - A woman at 10:30 p.m. reported hearing another woman yelling, "Stop it!" and "Help me!" A deputy checked and found nothing amiss.
POINT REYES STATION - A vehicle ran off Highway 1 and 20 feet down an embankment. No one was injured.
BOLINAS - A man at 2 a.m. complained of "computer music" in the area and said its "rumbling" was "a form of psychological harassment." A deputy contacted a guitar player, who agreed to put his instrument away for the night.
WOODACRE - A woman found a BB gun in a roadway and turned it in at the firehouse. Firefighters asked deputies to pick up the gun.
FOREST KNOLLS - A citizen at 7:30 a.m. reported a blue pickup truck with blood on its bumper parked in the postoffice lot and two people sleeping in a field 50 yards away. The two were gone when a deputy arrived. The officer determined the truck had hit a deer.
RED ROCK - A burglar broke into a car parked for the night at the nude beach and stole a woman's purse.
WOODACRE - An anonymous caller complained of loud music on Sylvan Way at 6:45 p.m. A deputy checked and found the volume was "not unreasonable." The officer nonetheless contacted the household playing music, and they agreed to keep the noise down.
NICASIO - A woman reported hearing three gunshots.
POINT REYES STATION - Deputies received a report of six year olds climbing on satellite dishes along Mesa Road. The children's mother subsequently arrived and took them home.
TOMALES - A woman reported that while she was swimming in Keys Creek, a burglar smashed the window of her car and stole various items.
RED ROCK - While a man was at the nude beach, a burglar broke the window of his vehicle and stole cash, a sports bag, a sleeping bag, and clothing.
INVERNESS PARK - A motorcycle and a car collided at Vallejo Avenue and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. After the accident, the motorcyclist went to his nearby home, but a Highway Patrolman was unable to contact him there.
BOLINAS - A deputy on Wharf Road arrested a man on charges of public drunkenness. The man was later released without being formally charged.
NICASIO - An eastbound motorist on Lucas Valley Road was arrested on drunk-driving charges.
MUIR BEACH - A deputy cited three men on charges of nudity on a public beach.
BOLINAS - A woman on Brighton Avenue reported losing her purse.
INVERNESS - A vandal spray painted obscenities on a volunteer firefighter's vehicle, on the school, and on a portable toilet. Deputies have been given the name of the juvenile allegedly responsible.
POINT REYES STATION - A Berkeley woman reported her wallet was stolen a year ago and that someone has now used her identification to obtain packages from the Point Reyes Station Postoffice. Postal investigators are handling the case.
INVERNESS - A juvenile girl was caught allegedly trying to shoplift two bottles of rum from a store. The store owner made a citizen's arrest on charges of petty theft. The girl was also charged with being a minor in possession of alcohol.
DILLON BEACH - A 54-year-old camper from Sacramento died of heart problems.
RED ROCK - A burglar broke into a car parked at the nude beach and stole clothing, a cassette player, and other personal property.
MUIR BEACH - A burglar smashed the window of a rental car parked by Swiss tourists on Muir Woods Road. The culprit stole $2,400 worth of clothing, other property, and identifications.
OLEMA - A deputy shot an injured deer.
STINSON BEACH - A burglar broke into the water district's barn on Stinson Gulch Road and stole three gallons of gasoline. The culprit also siphoned gasoline from a district vehicle. The loss was estimated at $200.
SAMUEL TAYLOR PARK - A ranger requested a backup from the Sheriff's Office in order to deal with domestic violence at a campsite. One person was later jailed on charges of spousal abuse.
BOLINAS - The school reported a vehicle had damaged its picket fence during the night.
NICASIO - Deputies received an anonymous report of 12 marijuana plants growing along Lucas Valley Road. Officers found the plants and confiscated them.
TOMALES - When a Valley Avenue resident went out, the door lock was bent, but when the resident returned, the lock had been straightened, the resident reported. However, nothing was missing from the residence. A deputy gave the worried resident advice.
FOREST KNOLLS - Deputies received an anonymous complaint of loud music all day on Upper Resaca Avenue. An officer later reported the disturbance had been abated.
MARSHALL - Deputies were notified that a man had been lying beside Highway 1 all day in a sleeping bag. Firefighters were dispatched to check on the man's welfare.
DILLON BEACH - An electrical outlet in the wall of an Oceana Drive home began to cause problems at 10:30 p.m. Deputies were told there might be a fire in the wall.
BOLINAS - Deputies received a 911 call. When they called back, a fax machine answered. Eventually officers reached a bartender, who said he had just been 86ing a customer and was unaware of any phone calls.
WOODACRE - A man told deputies that a red vehicle parked on Crescent Court was equipped with a stolen stereo. The man said the owner didn't know the stereo was stolen because it was installed by a previous owner.
FOREST KNOLLS - A vandal damaged dropoff boxes for returning video tapes to a store.
SAN GERONIMO - A vandal broke a window of a golf-cart barn at the links and damaged several carts.
BOLINAS - Deputies received an anonymous complaint of two groups gathering tidepool life near Agate Beach despite signs prohibiting this. A deputy could not find the groups.
BOLINAS - A resident reported 10 people drinking on the beach and setting up a six-foot-tall sound system. Deputies checked and found there was to be a birthday party from 6 to 7 p.m.
INVERNESS - A deputy inspecting a suspicious vehicle saw apparent falcon wings inside and notified a state Fish and Game warden.
LAGUNITAS - Responding to a complaint about a disturbance, a deputy found a couple, who were hard of hearing, having a quarrel. They agreed to keep the noise down.
WOODACRE - Some 20 to 35 people, who had been drinking, crashed a party on Madrone Avenue. When a deputy arrived, the party crashers left, and the disturbance was abated.
NICASIO - A vehicle caught fire on Nicasio Valley Road. Deputies were told a mother and child had gotten out of the car. The Highway Patrol handled the mishap.
MARSHALL - When a hunter tried to meet some friends by crossing a Marshall-Petaluma Road rancher's land, the rancher tried to block the road with his pickup truck. However, he said, the hunter nearly ran him down. The hunter was last seen heading toward the Soulajule Reservoir.
LAGUNITAS - A man reported a second man was lying on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 11 p.m. The second man was bleeding, possibly having been hit by a car, the first man said. A deputy could not find the second man.
FOREST KNOLLS - A woman reported her son had heard people under the Montezuma Road bridge talking about starting a fire. The people were gone when a deputy arrived.
WOODACRE - A deputy found several vehicles parked on a narrow curve of Sylvan Way and cited them on charges of parking too close to the center of the roadway.
MARSHALL - Deputies received a report of a black cow on Highway 1 near the bridge south of Millerton Point. The cow was gone when an officer arrived.
STINSON BEACH - A woman reported a bonfire on the beach near Calle del Arroyo. A deputy later reported the fire was out.
BOLINAS - A resident complained of campers on the beach at the end of Brighton Avenue at 10:30 p.m. A deputy moved them along.
BOLINAS - Deputies received a complaint of numerous youths with boomboxes on Wharf Road at 1:30 a.m. A deputy contacted the juveniles, who turned off the music and left.
WOODACRE - A deputy returned a cow to its pasture at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and San Geronimo Valley Drive.
SAN GERONIMO - A resident complained of teenage boys shooting a pellet gun in their back yard. A deputy could not find them.
WOODACRE - Deputies at midnight received a report of a loud party on Railroad Avenue, with one man fighting.
INVERNESS PARK - A tourist said a piece of clothing was stolen from her guest room.
FOREST KNOLLS - A resident complained, "A really bad flute player is outside for hours at a time." As a result, she said, her nerves are becoming just "so-so." All was quiet when a deputy arrived.
LAGUNITAS - Three males stole a 12-pack of beer off a delivery truck. When the delivery man caught them, they returned the beer. By the time two Highway Patrolmen arrived, the problem had been abated.
WOODACRE - A man complained that debris from a neighbor, who was power-spraying a deck, was blowing onto the man's property. After a deputy contacted them, the two agree to resolve the matter themselves.
INVERNESS PARK - A woman complained about her upstairs neighbors' noise and said the neighbor was unresponsive to her requests to keep it down. A deputy gave her advice.
FOREST KNOLLS - A citizen on Guadulpe Place said a man had cut a hole out of his pants and was covertly masturbating in the town park. The citizen said there were "no victim," and a deputy could not find the man.
TOCALOMA - After a trespasser driving a pickup truck was spotted on a ranch, a man and his son, armed with rifles, went to check on them. Deputies responded and asked the two to leave their guns in their truck.
DOGTOWN - A deputy driving a patrolcar on Highway 1 at 12:20 a.m. struck a deer, injuring it. The officer shot the deer to put it out its misery.
STINSON BEACH - A burglar smashed the window of a car parked along Highway 1 and stole clothing and a leather bag.
STINSON BEACH - A woman driving north on Highway 1 spotted a teenage girl, naked except for tennis shoes, walking beside the roadway. The woman gave the disoriented girl a ride to town and called deputies, who arranged for an ambulance to transport her to a hospital for observation. The girl, who wore extensive body-piercing jewelry, said she was homeless and 18. She refused to say what had happened or be finger-printed to determine her identification.
BOLINAS - Deputies received an anonymous report of a man brandishing a knife near the library. An officer contacted the man and determined there was no merit to the report.
INVERNESS - Three juveniles, all around age 15, were cited on charges of burglarizing a house on Perth Way a week earlier, drinking the victim's wine, and gluing wine glasses to her table.
SAN GERONIMO - A man reported that a large animal had been hit by a car on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. The animal was still alive, he said, and creating a traffic hazard. A deputy could not find the animal.
POINT REYES STATION - A thief stole a $100 cellular phone from a parked car.
BOLINAS - A resident complained of campers with a bonfire on the beach at 7:40 p.m. A deputy later reported the fire was out.
STINSON BEACH - A woman reported her neighbors were fighting and that the father was hitting the mother and their two kids.
BOLINAS - A woman told deputies her boyfriend, 40, had been calling her all night, saying his roommate was harassing him. The woman said she wanted the calls to cease and for deputies to tell her boyfriend not to come over.
BOLINAS - A motorcycle hit a deer on Highway 1 along the lagoon. The cyclist received moderate injuries, and his newly purchased motorcycle was severely damaged.
WOODACRE - While a couple were sleeping at 8:50 a.m., the woman's former boyfriend entered the home through a sliding door and began throwing things around. Deputies later arrested the intruder on charges of making threats.
DILLON BEACH - A man in dispute with several neighbors allegedly menaced three townspeople by driving close to them. He was later arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon.
INVERNESS PARK - A woman reported her husband, 49, who is manic depressive, was smashing things in their house. When deputies arrived, the couple had gone to separate parts of their property.
SAN GERONIMO - A woman on North Creamery Road reported hearing 20 gunshots within a mile. A deputy could not find anyone shooting.
POINT REYES STATION - A restaurant reported two men were refusing to leave after a dispute over a reserved table. When a deputy arrived, the men were gone.
INVERNESS PARK - A nanny reported the wife of her employer had told him she would kill the nanny for "ruining her life."
STINSON BEACH - Children playing with the phone in a Dipsea Road home reported the house was on fire. A deputy noted there was no merit to the report.
DILLON BEACH - A woman told deputies a man, who had been drinking, had caused a disturbance. She said he had now driven off in a pickup truck with his six-year-old daughter.
BOLINAS - A Horseshoe Hill Road resident complained that an unwanted man had showed up on her property with a keg of beer after being invited by her friends. She noted he might be camping on her property with his girlfriend. When the Highway Patrol later arrested the man on drunk-driving charges, he said he had been ordered off the property by a man who pointed a pellet gun at him.
STINSON BEACH - A Ukiah man reported losing prescription glasses on the county beach.
NICASIO - A Camino Marguerita resident reported a house door had been forced open, but nothing appeared to be missing.
STINSON BEACH - A woman at 9 p.m. reported two people were in a tent on the beach. A deputy found two local youths in the tent, and they said they did not plan to spend the night on the beach.
POINT REYES STATION - A Cotati man reported his front license plate had fallen off while he was en route to work in town.
BOLINAS - A woman told deputies a man in a wheelchair was screaming on Wharf Road and verbally abusing passersby. She said he had taken off a piece of the wheelchair and was swinging it at people.
INVERNESS PARK - A woman rebuilding her home, which had been destroyed in the Inverness Ridge fire, complained that a neighbor was harassing her construction crew.
POINT REYES STATION - A motorist reported being chased by an older sedan while driving south from Millerton Point.
