BOLINAS A woman at 10:10 a.m. Saturday accused a bouncer of shoving her in the back three or four times in escorting her from a bar. The woman, who was expelled "for smoking in a violent manner," said she did not wish to press charges but merely have the incident reported.
POINT REYES STATION A citizen found an ATM card in the banks ATM machine and turned it over to deputies at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. Deputies notified the bank, which canceled the ATM account, and deputies destroyed the card.
POINT REYES STATION A Knob Hill Road resident at 4:30 p.m. Friday reported her cars front license plate was missing.
POINT REYES STATION A Mesa Road resident at 1:05 p.m. July 17 found a mans wallet and turned it over to deputies.
POINT REYES STATION Deputies at 8:17 p.m. last July 18 received a complaint that a gray, two-door car with a raised vent on its hood was spinning tires and speeding downtown. A deputy found the cars juvenile occupants parked behind the bank and admonished them not to drive recklessly.
OLEMA A restaurant employee at 2:30 a.m. last Thursday notified deputies that the restaurants interior lights were on although they had been off when she left work. A deputy found nothing amiss.
WOODACRE A Redwood Drive woman at 7:20 p.m. last Thursday notified deputies that her irate mother had called and screamed into the phone, threatening suicide. The daughter said deputies have been in contact with her mother several times during the past week. Four days later, the daughter told officers her stepfather had left threats on her answering machine, saying that he needed the daughters phone number "so that I can kill her," deputies reported. The daughter said he was "very angry" because the she had called the Sheriffs Office, which placed her mother in the county crisis unit for 72 hours.
OLEMA A deputy at 9:12 p.m. Monday escorted an intoxicated person from a bar. A friend gave the person a ride home.
FOREST KNOLLS A man on Castro Street at 10 p.m. Monday said he had seen a suburban utility vehicle with Canadian license plates driving westbound with a couple quarreling inside. The second man was acting irrational and his hands were around his female companions neck, the first man told deputies.
LAGUNITAS A Rodeo Avenue resident at 9 a.m. Monday said two juveniles, possibly 14 and 15, had been driving a dirt bike on a dirt road for the past half hour and making a lot of noise. All was quiet when a deputy arrived. However, the resident called back at 10:50 to say he could hear the dirt bike again. This time a deputy found the dirt bike, and the rider said he was done for the day. At 1:15 p.m., however, the resident called a third time to say he could hear the dirt bike starting up again. It was gone when a deputy arrived, and the officer speculated the bike might have been starting up to leave the area.
BOLINAS A woman on Wharf Road at 9:15 a.m. Monday told deputies she had recovered her purse, which had been stolen on Independence Day. However, she added, her wallet, cell phone, and camera were missing.
FOREST KNOLLS A woman on Juarez Avenue at 10 a.m. Monday reported that the previous evening an 18-year-old woman from Fairfax had poured beer over her head and thrown a beer bottle, which hit her.
BOLINAS A Horseshoe Hill Road resident at 11:30 a.m. Monday told deputies she had been receiving harassing phone calls on three of the five lines to her house. The calls, which sounded like faxes or beeping noises, were coming in about 20 times a day, she said. A deputy determined she was not being harassed.
FOREST KNOLLS A man on Tamal Road at 2:45 p.m. Monday told deputies some of his checks had been stolen, and one of them had been used to purchase a vehicle in Alameda. Deputies told him the case fell within the jurisdiction of Alameda law enforcement.
TOMALES Marin and Sonoma county firefighters responded to a report of a vehicle accident at Highway 1 and the Tomales-Petaluma Road at 1:18 p.m. Monday. Neither firefighter groups could find a wrecked vehicle.
POINT REYES STATION A Highway 1 resident at 4 p.m. Sunday complained about a motorbike making noise on the property next door. A deputy determined the motorcycle was on private property and not guilty of any violation.
LAGUNITAS A man at 4:50 p.m. Sunday complained that three or four juveniles on off-road vehicles were creating a disturbance on La Cuesta Avenue. A deputy could not find them.
BOLINAS Powerlines fell down Sunday at Dogwood and Poplar roads. At 8 p.m. firefighters radioed deputies for immediate help, saying a man at the scene was threatening to pass a barricade and touch live wires. He had been somewhat calmed down but was still uncooperative, firefighters reported.
WOODACRE A Sir Francis Drake Boulevard landowner at 10:50 a.m. July 17 notified deputies that a 21-year-old woman, who had been arrested the previous week on trespassing charges, was now back. She said the second woman, while delusional, was not causing problems at the moment. The landowner asked deputies to evaluate the second womans sanity. At 8 p.m. Sunday, a deputy served a court-issued restraining order on the 21 year old as she sat in a moving van. The woman then left.
DILLON BEACH A man on Marine View Drive notified deputies at 9:30 p.m. Sunday that a woman had hit him twice. He told officers he suspected she had been drinking. The woman, in turn, said she had been trying to break into his house because her name is on the lease.
INVERNESS PARK A woman at 6 a.m. Sunday notified deputies that she and her parents had returned from Santa Rosa with her sister and a cousin following in another car. However, the woman said, the other two females had not been seen since 11 p.m.
FOREST KNOLLS A deputy on Morelos Avenue at 9:15 a.m. Sunday arrested a man on a warrant.
DILLON BEACH A citizen called deputies at 12:15 a.m. Saturday to report a 25-year-old woman from Rohnert Park was supposed to meet the citizen in a restaurant but had never showed up. The citizen later notified deputies that the woman had called to say she had been drugged and had just awakened.
DILLON BEACH A woman on Marine View Drive at 3:50 p.m. Saturday told deputies that a bottle rocket had just gone through the awning of her trailer. She said she knew who was responsible.
POINT REYES STATION Deputies at 8 p.m. Saturday responded to a report of a white Thunderbird being driven recklessly. A deputy confiscated the cars keys, contacted the registered owner, and gave the keys to him.
SAN GERONIMO Deputies at 10:30 p.m. Saturday rousted two people sleeping in a suburban utility vehicle. One of the pair, who was wanted on two traffic warrants, was arrested.
PLATFORM BRIDGE A motorist at 11:40 p.m. Saturday reported hitting a deer near the gravel company. The man said the deer was still alive with a fawn next to it. The Humane Society responded.
WOODACRE A Laurel Avenue resident at 11:56 p.m. Saturday complained about a loud party with possibly 30 guests. A deputy later reported, "Party was broken up."
HICKS VALLEY A man at 12:48 a.m. Friday said his girlfriend had seen something in the middle of the Point Reyes-Petaluma Road. The object was not an animal and might be a human corpse, he said.
HICKS VALLEY Firefighters at 8:20 a.m. Friday reported a red Toyota had run off the Point Reyes-Petaluma Road and had gone through a fence. No one was around the car, firefighters said. Deputies determined the car had been stolen.
STINSON BEACH Deputies were notified at 9 a.m. Friday that a black Mazda car from San Anselmo had run off Highway 1 and into Bolinas Lagoon.
STINSON BEACH A Calle del Ribera resident at 11:35 a.m. Friday reported his girlfriend from out of state had missed a court appearance.
DILLON BEACH A man called from Marine View Drive at 12:25 p.m. Friday to say his 33-year-old wife, who had been drinking, was threatening to commit suicide by driving over a cliff. He noted that he had asked her for a divorce.
LAGUNITAS A woman at 3:20 p.m. Friday notified deputies that a second woman carrying beer and a pack of cigarettes was hanging around in her neighbors yard.
BOLINAS A woman on Wharf Road at 7 p.m. Friday reported a man had been harassing her and hitting her. She said that when she hit him back, he let her go, and she walked away.
FOREST KNOLLS A man at noon last Thursday reported that a vehicle with a second man inside reading a paper and drinking something had been parked next to the postoffice for 90 minutes. The first man said it was not his job to ask the man to leave. A deputy contacted the second man and found he was a private investigator.
STINSON BEACH A Highway 1 resident at 10:15 p.m. last Thursday complained about loud music and said he wanted it quieted down.
INVERNESS A woman at 11:20 p.m. last Thursday said a 38-year-old man had invited her to his motorhome parked on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. Hed had too much to drink, she said, and had been trying to get her into bed earlier. After investigating the case, a deputy reported, "She just disconnected."
INVERNESS PARK A man at 1:20 p.m. July 17 reported there was a loose cow in the middle of Sir Francis Drake Boulevard downtown. The cow was gone when a deputy arrived.
POINT REYES STATION Sheriffs Lt. John Brunslik, commander of the West Marin Substation, has asked The Light to let readers know that a campaign to remove abandoned cars is underway in West Marin. Lt. Brunslik said the Sheriffs Office will arrange to have abandoned vehicles towed off private property, as well as public property, if the landowner signs a release. STINSON BEACH A woman at 3:15 p.m. Saturday reported an embezzler had used her credit card without permission to order $1,200 worth of furniture, which was shipped to an address in Richmond.
BOLINAS Deputies at 10:30 p.m. Monday received notification that a vandal had spray-painted over a county sign at the end of Wharf Road. The sign said no camping is allowed on summer weekends.
NICASIO A Nicasio Valley Road resident at 12:20 a.m. Saturday reported his wife was throwing furniture in their house and arguing with him. The argument erupted after he told his wife hed spent the weekend camping with another woman, he said. He added that he and his wife are getting a divorce. A deputy gave both people advice and told each how to get a court-issued restraining order against the other. The husband then agreed to stay in a mobilehome until at least Monday,
RED HILL A deputy armed with an Oakland warrant went to a house along the Point Reyes-Petaluma Road at 10:45 p.m. last Thursday and arrested a man, who was booked, with his bail set at $10,000.
BOLINAS A librarian at 1:30 a.m. last Thursday reported finding a camera in the library.
POINT REYES STATION A deputy at 11:30 p.m. July 7 arrested a man at the Green Bridge on charges of public drunkenness.
POINT REYES STATION A deputy at 1:35 a.m. arrested a motorist at the Green Bridge on drunk driving charges.
POINT REYES STATION A vandal on Mesa Road egged a mans car, deputies were notified at 2:30 p.m.
STINSON BEACH Deputies at 11:45 a.m. July 10 received word that a burglar had stolen $1,000 worth of jewelry from a house on Calle del Embarcadero.
INVERNESS A woman at 7 p.m. Monday called deputies from Sir Francis Drake Boulevard to report a strange man had been asking her "funny questions." She said he was driving a motorhome that was pulling a motorcycle on a trailer. She told deputies by phone that she was now watching him drive very slowly away from St. Columbas Church and said she was very worried. A deputy determined the man was just asking about Sunday services and Bible study.
OLEMA After responding at 9:05 p.m. Monday to a report that there was a loose cow on Highway 1, a deputy subsequently reported the animal was back in its pasture.
POINT REYES STATION A man called deputies from Mesa Road at 9:30 p.m. Monday to report a man had been sitting on a bench outside a store for hours, carving on a stone. A deputy determined the man was a transient and moved him along.
POINT REYES STATION A woman at 11:50 p.m. July 10 complained about loud music on Highway 1. The noise was abated prior to a deputys arrival. Although all was quiet when the deputy arrived, the woman "insisted [the music] was still playing," the deputy reported, adding that there appears to be an ongoing dispute between neighbors.
MUIR BEACH A woman on Seascape Drive at 12:40 a.m. Tuesday complained about a loud party at the community center. A deputy contacted people at the party and advised them to keep the noise down.
FOREST KNOLLS A man at 2 a.m. Tuesday complained about a loud band playing uphill from the intersection of Guadalupe Place and Resaca Avenue. He added that this has happened "every Monday night for years."
STINSON BEACH A man at 8:45 a.m. Sunday reported he had lost his wallet, passport, and cellular phone the previous day.
POINT REYES STATION Deputies at 9:15 a.m. Sunday received a call about a man wearing boots without laces and carrying a stick.
MUIR BEACH A Highway 1 resident asked deputies to respond if a person, who has caused trouble at a ranch, shows up. At 9:30 a.m. Sunday, the resident notified deputies the person had not shown up.
WOODACRE A Rock Ridge Road resident at 10:05 a.m. Sunday said a man was using a tractor on his property and that she didnt want to hear the noise on a Sunday morning. A deputy gave advice, and the noise ended.
LAGUNITAS A homeowner at 1:45 p.m. Sunday said unknown people had broken into a vacant house he owns and may be living there. The man said he found out about this from his Realtor.
OLEMA A man on Highway 1 told deputies a cell phone had been stolen from his car.
POINT REYES STATION A woman at 6:20 p.m. Monday was walking along Highway 1 when two dogs jumped on her. She was not injured but expressed concern about loose dogs.
MARSHALL A sheriffs sergeant at 8:10 p.m. Saturday reported there were two bulls on Highway 1. He contacted two ranches, eventually found the owner, and radioed, "Cattle drive was successful."
WOODACRE A man at 10:15 p.m. Saturday notified deputies that a Jeep was parked in front of the house of his neighbor, who is on vacation. He said that several people had gotten in and out of the Jeep a number of times. For the moment, the man said, all the people were sitting in the Jeep, and that it was behind his neighbors car.
TOMALES A Highway 1 resident complained about hearing very loud "booming" music at 10:20 p.m. Saturday. He also reported vehicles were racing around the area. A deputy contacted a security officer at the scene and advised him to have the music turned down. The officer was told the party would be over at 11 p.m.
OLEMA Deputies at 11:30 p.m. Saturday received word of a "stalled vehicle blocking the northbound lane" of Highway 1. The caller added that the white Honda Accord "appears to have spun out" and that it was "missing two wheels." Furthermore, said the caller, one passenger had an eye injury, and the driver had been drinking. Deputies notified the Highway Patrol.
SAN GERONIMO A woman at 2 a.m. Sunday complained about a party on New Creamery Road. A deputy talked with a couple leaving the party, and they said there were a few dozen guests. The officer then talked with the host, who agreed to keep guests indoors and the music down.
LAGUNITAS A woman heard noises that sounded like a skid and a crash on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 11:15 p.m. Friday. Deputies notified the Highway Patrol, which found nothing amiss.
DILLON BEACH A camper on Marin View Drive at 2:15 a.m. Saturday complained to deputies about a group of more than 15 juveniles, who were drinking alcohol and being loud. When a deputy arrived, the juveniles turned off their music and went to bed.
FOREST KNOLLS A Sir Francis Drake Boulevard resident at 8:45 p.m. last Thursday notified deputies that a man, who may be in his 30s, had followed his children several times in his pickup truck with camper shell. The father said his children were scared. A deputy located the man, who lives in town, and he told the deputy he would like to be contacted about the situation.
STINSON BEACH Deputies at 9:30 p.m. last Thursday received a complaint about 14 or 15 loud juveniles on the beach. A deputy spotted three or four juveniles and abated the problem.
BOLINAS A woman at 7 a.m. July 10 complained that at least two people were illegally camping in the bushes near downtown. She said this happens almost every night. The campers were gone when a deputy arrived. The next day another woman complained that a male and female were camping in the bushes. A deputy advised the couple to move along. At 10:20 p.m. the following day (last Thursday) one of the women complained that a 50-year-old homeless man was living in the bushes. She said he has been a problem for two years and was again settling in for the night. A deputy contacted him, and he agreed to move to a new location. The deputy said he would check back the following night.
INVERNESS A woman on Pine Hill notified deputies at 12:02 a.m. Friday that she could hear a womans "shrieks" outside, as well as male voices.

STINSON BEACH A woman at 7:30 a.m. July 3 reported a nighttime vandal smashed the windshield of her vehicle, which was parked in a driveway off Calle del Mar.
STINSON BEACH A woman at 7:40 p.m. July 3 called deputies from Calle del Arroyo and Highway 1 to complain that seven or eight juveniles camping in two tents were verbally disturbing residents in the neighborhood. A deputy later reported the problem was "semi-abated."
STINSON BEACH An Alameda Patio resident at 11:45 p.m. July 3 told a sheriffs dispatcher that juveniles had a "big bonfire" on the beach and that she was going to out the beach with a shovel and try to put the fire out despite the juveniles presence. The dispatcher talked the woman out of doing this and told her that deputies would handle the problem.
STINSON BEACH An Arenal Avenue woman at 9:20 p.m. Independence Day reported a tenant had walked into her house and asked for a drink. The man, who works in town, at first refused to leave, she said. He was now outside, the woman added.
STINSON BEACH A deputy at 10:25 p.m. Independence Day reported from North Calle del Arroyo there were at least 500 people on the beach with juveniles drinking. He said that along with alcohol, there were numerous fireworks and bonfires. The deputy reported telling people from Calle del Occidente to Calle Del Embarcadero to put out their fires, but the partying was still going on.
STINSON BEACH A Calle del Sierra resident at 12:20 a.m. last Thursday complained to deputies that 50 juveniles were shooting off fireworks, and some were urinating on the side of his house. His complaint was followed by a complaint from a female resident of Calle del Sierra. She told officers there were juveniles on her property. She later called back to say they were now on her deck.
STINSON BEACH An Calle del Sierra resident at 1 a.m. last Thursday told deputies that juveniles had just knocked down her fence.
STINSON BEACH Shortly after 1 a.m. last Thursday, a man on Calle del Sierra called to complain, and a deputy responded that the parties were being shut down for the night. However, the same man called back at 3:40 a.m. to report that 15 people were camping behind his house and playing loud music. He said there was about to be a physical confrontation between him and the campers.
STINSON BEACH A woman called deputies from Highway 1 at 4:30 a.m. last Thursday to say that two teenagers, 15 and 17, had gone to a beach party and were supposed to return home by 11 p.m. but had not. She asked for advice, and a deputy told her to talk with her hometown police department.
STINSON BEACH A dog on Belvedere Avenue bit a child at 8:30 p.m. last Thursday. The childs mother did not wish to file a complaint against the dog or its owner but did ask to see its vaccination records. The owner said the dog had been vaccinated two weeks earlier and that he would send her the records.
STINSON BEACH A vehicle overturned on Highway 1 a quarter mile south of Steep Ravine at 9 p.m. Monday. Deputies reported that no ambulance was needed.
BOLINAS A woman at 8 p.m. Monday complained that a man, on whose Wharf Road property she lives, had just thrown all her stuff out of the house. Deputies noted both parties had been drinking.
BOLINAS Deputies assisted Bolinas Fire Department medics at 8 p.m. Monday when an elderly woman suffered a fall on Wharf Road.
SAN GERONIMO A woman at 10:30 p.m. Monday reported hearing a loud explosion in the air near the school. Other residents of the area said they thought theyd heard a gunshot on Meadow Way and people shouting.
WOODACRE Deputies at 10:35 p.m. Monday received a complaint that juveniles had driven past the paved turnout at the end of Fire Road and were sitting in a vehicle playing loud music. A deputy contacted five juveniles in three vehicles.
NICASIO A deputy at 10:35 a.m. Monday accompanied a county zoning officer during an inspection on Nicasio Valley Road.
SAN GERONIMO A Volkswagen caught fire in a grassy area between Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and San Geronimo Valley Drive at 11 a.m. Monday.
MARSHALL A motorcyclist spilled on Highway 1 near Marconi but did not need medical attention.
MARSHALL A distraught woman at 2 p.m. Monday knocked herself out with pills and brandy. When she was awakened, she was irrational and disoriented.
WOODACRE A park Street resident at 2:24 p.m. Monday reported losing a cellular phone.
CHILENO VALLEY A man house-sitting on the Marshall-Petaluma Road at 2:50 p.m. Monday reported a theft of mail.
LAGUNITAS An East Cintura Avenue man at 3:20 p.m. Monday complained about children setting off fireworks along Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. All was quiet when a deputy arrived.
BOLINAS The Highway Patrol at 7:30 p.m. Sunday told deputies a solo woman had been kicked out of a car at Horseshoe Hill Road and Highway 1.
POINT REYES STATION A Highway 1 resident at 7:45 p.m. Sunday complained about loud music downtown and asked a deputy to have it turned down. A merchant told the deputy a wedding reception was underway but would end by 9:30 p.m. At that time the music would be "abated," the deputy reported.
FOREST KNOLLS A woman at 9:45 p.m. Sunday asked a resident to call 911 because a man and a woman were fighting. The resident could hear the woman yelling for someone to call police, as well as, "Get off me!"
DOGTOWN A deputy at 10:45 p.m. Monday found a 1989, four-door Toyota Camry that had been stolen in Richmond.
POINT REYES STATION A Third Street resident at 2:20 a.m. Monday notified deputies she had heard someone walking around her house. She said she turned on her porch light and saw a man wearing boots without laces and "carrying a stick in one hand and a stone in the other." A day later, a Tomales resident said a man wearing boots without laces and sharpening a large stick with a rock was at Dillon Beach Road and Valley Avenue. He had been sharpening the stick for the past hour and was now walking toward Highway 1, the resident said.
WOODACRE A man at 12:15 p.m. Sunday notified deputies that his neighbors house had apparently been ransacked and burglarized. He added that the neighbor had told him, "Strange things have been happening at the house" and "keep an eye on it."
MARSHALL A resident at 8:25 a.m. Friday told deputies a family was building a campfire beside Tomales Bay. She said she was concerned because of the amount of garbage people leave behind. She said a deputy spoke to them on the previous day.
DILLON BEACH A caller at 9 p.m. Friday complained about people on the day beach shooting off fireworks. A deputy reported that no one was shooting off fireworks because everyone had run out of them.
BOLINAS Deputies at 9:25 p.m. Friday received a complaint that a Wharf Road resident plays loud music nightly. A deputy contacted the resident, who agreed to turn the music down.
FOUR CORNERS A West Marin sheriffs sergeant at 11:20 p.m. Friday radioed that motorists were drag racing on Nicasio Valley Road and possibly heading toward the town square. The sergeant later said the drag racers had been dispersed and that he was sure everyone had gone home.
INVERNESS Deputies at 11:58 p.m. Friday received a complaint of noise at Chicken Ranch Beach.
BOLINAS Secret Service agents showed up in town at 4 a.m. Friday in advance of Senator Hillary Clinton, who was in town with daughter Chelsea to visit Mark and Susie Buell. On Saturday, Senator Clinton (in the temporary role of deputy commissioner of civil marriages) presided over the wedding of one of her aides to a political consultant.
DILLON BEACH Deputies received a report of minors with alcohol on Marine View Drive. An officer located the juveniles.
WOODACRE A woman at 9:20 p.m. Independence Day complained about neighbors shooting off powerful firecrackers. A deputy abated the problem.
WOODACRE Firefighters at 9:45 p.m. Independence Day reported hearing a disturbance. When a deputy arrived, all was quiet, but the officer located a party and "abated" a disturbance.
NICASIO A Nicasio Valley Road resident at 10:10 p.m. Independence Day reported that someone had just driven a motorcycle into her garage. She said she didnt know if the cyclist had left. A deputy determined the womans husband had given the cyclist permission to leave his motorcycle there.
WOODACRE A woman at 10:35 p.m. Independence Day complained of a juvenile party in the area of Redwood Drive and San Geronimo Valley Drive. The juveniles were shooting off fireworks, she said. All was quiet when a deputy arrived.
BOLINAS A woman at 11:50 p.m. Independence Day complained of loud fireworks in the street at Brighton Avenue and Wharf Road. A deputy later reported the problem was "taken care of."
INVERNESS PARK Two vehicles were in a traffic mishap at 1:10 a.m. last Thursday, and one of them ran into a fence. Deputies were told that two tows were needed, that one vehicle had extensive damage, and that "one guy" was sleeping in a vehicle parked near the road in a driveway.
OLEMA A woman at 8:45 a.m. July 3 reported that a burglar had broken into her car, which was parked at a trailhead, and had stolen her purse.
TOMALES A Tomales-Petaluma Road resident at 1:45 p.m. July 3 asked deputies to help her get her 15-year-old daughter out of a house. The woman said her daughter was with friends, whose parents were away, and the friends were refusing to let the mother inside to get her daughter. The mother said, "The friends are wild and do drugs."
WOODACRE A Carson Road resident complained that a stranger about 55 years old had come onto her property swearing. She said she learned he is a tenant of the woman next door. A deputy counseled the man.
POINT REYES STATION Sheriffs Lt. John Brunslik, commander of the West Marin Substation, has asked The Light to let readers know that a campaign to remove abandoned cars is underway in West Marin. Lt. Brunslik said the Sheriffs Office will arrange to have abandoned vehicles towed off private property, as well as public property, if the landowner signs a release. INVERNESS A dog got away from its master Monday evening and in a friendly fashion ran over to a woman. Although the dog in no way attacked the woman, it accidentally knocked her over. The woman asked deputies to alert the public that with all the dogs in West Marin during the summer, pet owners have to particularly careful in controlling them.
INVERNESS A man at 4:20 p.m. Sunday reported his girlfriend struck him in the arm with a beer bottle following an argument. A deputy arrested her on charges of domestic abuse.
INVERNESS A woman at 5:30 p.m. last Thursday got into a child-custody dispute with her ex-husband.
DILLON BEACH A woman on Marin View Drive at 10 a.m. Saturday notified deputies that several people had broken into her trailer and threatened her. She also said several items were stolen. Deputies, however, determined that the break-in and threats did not occur, and the woman herself later reported finding the supposedly missing items.
POINT REYES STATION A thief stole a fire extinguisher from a business, the merchant notified officers at 9:45 a.m. Friday.
BOLINAS A Mesa Road resident at 4 p.m. Monday told deputies someone had forged her husbands signature on two bogus checks totaling $1,000. A deputy noted the crime was not in Marin Countys jurisdiction and gave her advice.
BOLINAS A woman at 5 p.m. Monday reported a white sedan had driven into the county park on Brighton Avenue and was illegally parked on the grass.
STINSON BEACH An Alameda Patio woman at 8 a.m. Sunday complained there had been a large party on the beach in front of her house the previous evening. The partygoers left her with "a huge mess" to clean up, she said. The woman added that on the beach she had found a mans wallet with a Washington drivers license inside.
WOODACRE A woman at 8:30 p.m. Monday reported her daughter had been in a dispute with another girl and that she believed the parents of the other juvenile had filed a complaint. The woman said she wanted to talk with a deputy and was given advice.
POINT REYES STATION A woman at 9 a.m. Sunday reported losing her wallet on the main street. She later reported finding it.
HICKS VALLEY The wife of a deputy at 10:30 a.m. reported a light blue, two-door hatchback with four people inside were driving westbound on the Point Reyes-Petaluma Road at a high rate of speed, passing other cars.
SAN GERONIMO A man at 1:15 p.m. Sunday complained that a homeless man was camping on his property. A deputy found the homeless mans encampment and left a note, telling him to take all his stuff and get off the property.
BOLINAS-FAIRFAX ROAD A female motorist at 8:40 p.m. last Thursday said a vehicle had followed her for more than 20 miles. When she stopped at Bolinas-Fairfax Road and Ridgecrest Boulevard, the woman said, the other driver pulled up next to her and slammed his car door into hers. The vandal was described as driving a white Honda, and the victim gave deputies the vandals license plate number.
WOODACRE A large tree fell over at Carson and Rock Ridge roads at 11:57 p.m. last Thursday. Firefighters warned that the tree was threatening to fall further and hit a vehicle. Members of the county Fire Department, Sheriffs Department, and Department of Public Works handled the problem.
FOREST KNOLLS A woman at 12:06 a.m. Friday complained of loud music and screaming in the area of Tamal Road and Vista Avenue. She said this was the second Thursday night in a row there had been a disturbance. A deputy abated a small gathering, and the music was turned off.
BOLINAS A Brighton Avenue resident at 4:45 a.m. Friday reported receiving harassing phone calls from his brothers girlfriend in Florida. He said the woman has also called his parents and sent harassing emails. He added that his brother is estranged from the rest of his family.
FOREST KNOLLS Deputies at 4:46 a.m. Friday received a complaint that someone was walking around the town park making noise.
PT. REYES-PETALUMA ROAD Following a traffic accident, a deputy and a Highway Patrol officer summoned two trucks and set out flares at 2:25 p.m. last Wednesday.
DILLON BEACH A burglar on Marine View Drive at noon Friday broke the window of a womans car and stole her purse.
