INVERNESS A woman found a wallet in the postoffice and at 5:15 p.m. Monday turned it over to a sheriffs deputy.
STINSON BEACH Deputies and medics at 7:15 p.m. Monday assisted a 75-year-old woman on Calle del Mar after she began running a fever of 102 degrees. Authorities were told she had not eaten for several days.
STINSON BEACH A 55-year-old Panoramic Highway resident was transported to a hospital by helicopter at 7:41 p.m. Monday after she developed severe chest paints. The woman has a history of heart problems.
LAGUNITAS An anonymous caller at 9:02 p.m. Monday complained that men were setting up camp behind the market. A deputy could not find them.
OLEMA A citizen at 9:32 p.m. Monday complained about rowdy campers at another campsite. All was quiet when a deputy arrived.
DILLON BEACH An Oceana Drive resident at 10:38 p.m. Monday asked to speak with a deputy about "being following by a weird lady today." A deputy gave the man advice and concluded there had been "no crime" and that the woman was merely "acting strange."
BOLINAS A woman at 8:56 a.m. Monday told deputies that a man appeared to be sleeping in a grove at Kale and Elm roads, noting she had seen two bedrolls. Because of the man, she is now fearful of jogging in the area, she said.
STINSON BEACH A man at 10:26 a.m. Monday notified deputies that a thief had stolen a floor sander, two toolboxes, and hand tools from his pickup truck Friday. A deputy gave him advice.
FOREST KNOLLS An anonymous caller at 11:28 a.m. Monday complained that four men were drinking alcohol in the town park. A deputy contacted the four, found no evidence of "current drinking," and advised the four it is illegal to drink in the town park. He also checked their identifications.
CHILENO VALLEY A man at 11:38 a.m. Monday reported that his ex-wife had taken their 11-year-old child on vacation without notifying him. A deputy gave the man advice regarding child custody.
FOREST KNOLLS A resident, who had reported a burglary last October, at 3:38 p.m. Monday reported seeing some of her property at a garage sale. The matter was turned over to the sheriffs Investigations Division.
BOLINAS A downtown resident at 7:01 p.m. Sunday reported a man aged 60 to 65 and wearing a military-style jacket was arguing in her driveway with her 60-year-old boyfriend. She said the other man appeared to be intoxicated or high. He eventually left.
SAN GERONIMO Deputies at 9:16 p.m. Sunday received a complaint of a loud party in the vicinity of Fir Avenue. An officer contacted a man hosting a wedding party, and the man said he would turn the music down.
POINT REYES STATION A resident at 3:42 a.m. Sunday complained that a pickup truck had been idling noisily on Mesa Road for 90 minutes. A deputy found a workman sleeping in his truck in order to be near his worksite in the morning.
MARSHALL A woman on Highway 1 at 8:24 a.m. Sunday reported losing her black wallet the previous day while fishing.
WOODACRE A woman at 10:16 a.m. Sunday complained about loud construction noise from volunteers working at the Improvement Club. She asked a deputy to determine if the club has a building permit and, if so, what its restrictions on hours of work are. A deputy found the volunteers have a permit but, in accordance with the permit, asked them not to work on Sundays.
LAGUNITAS An anonymous caller at 12:28 p.m. Sunday notified deputies he could hear a man screaming, "Help! Call the police!"
BOLINAS A woman on Wharf Road at 1:33 p.m. Sunday "states a straight male is harassing her," a deputy reported. He "wont leave," he quoted her as saying.
STINSON BEACH A man at 2:53 p.m. Sunday called deputies from Highway 1 and said an 18-year-old girl was missing. Deputies and rangers searched for the girl only to discover she had been wading in the ocean for the past 10 minutes.
LAGUNITAS No deputy was available to respond when a 47-year-old man suffered a deep cut to a thumb at 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
DILLON BEACH A 12-year-old boy broke his collarbone and suffered scrapes in a skateboarding accident on Kailua Way. He was transported to a hospital by helicopter.
INVERNESS PARK A 40-year-old man on Sunnyside Drive suffered a seizure at 9:02 p.m. Saturday.
SAN GERONIMO A Sir Francis Drake Boulevard resident at 9:08 p.m. Saturday reported a thief had stolen miscellaneous tools, boat tanks, and batteries (together worth $5000).
LAGUNITAS A Cintura Avenue resident at 9:29 p.m. Saturday reported his 20-year-old son had been shot by a stranger in Fairfax. The father did not want to stick around and answer deputies questions because he wanted to check on his son. Deputies notified San Rafael Police.
POINT REYES STATION A Mesa Road resident at 9:55 a.m. Saturday reported $60 in cash had been stolen from his vehicle during the night. He noted another Mesa Road resident had also been burglarized.
LAGUNITAS A resident at 12:10 a.m. Saturday complained about her neighbors "construction," which, she said, was too noisy. A deputy contacted the neighbor who said no construction was underway and that a pig was being prepared for luau-style cooking. At 10:17 a.m. that morning, the woman again called deputies to complain about her neighbors, claiming they had been digging trenches in a yard to bury PG&E lines. Again one of the neighbors said a pig was being cooked underground. A deputy noted the neighboring households disagree over where their common property line lies.
NICASIO A Nicasio Valley Road resident at 10:43 a.m. Saturday reported her gate had been vandalized and taken off its hinge. A deputy determined the damage had occurred when the gate closed on a neighbors horse trailer.
POINT REYES STATION Gallery staff at 11:07 a.m. Saturday reported finding a burned book of matches and six paintings by children in the gallery. The staff asked for extra patrols around the gallery.
JEWELL A man at 1:36 p.m. Saturday reported a window breaking and a possible burglary underway. He said a woman in a white Ford sports utility vehicle left the scene with two children in her SUV.
STINSON BEACH A woman at 7:07 p.m. Friday reported that her Volkswagens rear window had been broken out while the VW was parked on Buena Vista Avenue.
BOLINAS A man at 8:11 p.m. Friday reported that a bus abandoned at Larch and Locust roads was being stripped. A deputy noted an officer had already tagged the vehicle so it would be towed away.
STINSON BEACH A Calle del Piños resident at 8:53 p.m. Friday complained about fireworks and a bonfire on the beach. A deputy found nothing amiss.
STINSON BEACH A woman at 12:37 a.m. Saturday reported hearing fireworks on the beach. A deputy could not find anyone setting off fireworks.
POINT REYES STATION Medics responded when a 96-year-old Highway 1 resident fell at home at 7:29 a.m. Friday. The resident later called authorities again to say she was now in great pain and could not walk.
POINT REYES STATION A Highway 1 merchant at 1:14 p.m. Friday notified deputies that two men had just urinated on a neighboring merchants house, her business, and her car. He said the pair, which left in a blue Ford, "looked like tourists."
POINT REYES STATION A nursery school at 9:14 a.m. last Thursday reported a thief had stolen some tricycles.
STINSON BEACH A man at 9:34 a.m. last Thursday was transported to a hospital by ambulance after suffering a seizure. The man told authorities he had been assaulted in Marin City three days earlier.
BOLINAS A deputy at 10:49 a.m. last Thursday checked into a report of child abuse along Highway 1 and concluded there was "no merit" to the report.
POINT REYES STATION The Dance Palace last Thursday morning reported vandals had scrawled graffiti and damaged trees at the community center during the night.
WOODACRE A deputy on Scott Street at 1:59 p.m. last Thursday arrested a woman on a warrant for allegedly violating terms of her probation.
BOLINAS A deputy at Mesa and Olema-Bolinas roads last Wednesday night arrested a man on two warrants.
FOREST KNOLLS A woman at 10:13 a.m. last Wednesday reported a nighttime vandal had thrown a large piece of cement through a window of her van, which was parked on Montezuma Avenue.
FOREST KNOLLS A woman at 1:12 p.m. last Wednesday reported that two boys were creating a traffic hazard by fixing their bicycles in the middle of Montezuma Avenue. A deputy could not find them.
DOGTOWN A deputy at 1:41 p.m. last Wednesday cited a motorist on charges of driving with a suspended license. The driver was released after receiving a ticket, but the drivers Thunderbird was impounded for 30 days.
POINT REYES STATION A deputy at 3:54 p.m. last Wednesday received a complaint of juveniles skateboarding on the sidewalk and on private property around the bank. A deputy could not find them.
POINT REYES STATION Sheriffs Lt. Rich Ginnodo, commander of the West Marin Substation, has asked The Light to let readers know that a campaign to remove abandoned cars is underway in West Marin. Lt. Ginnodo said the Sheriffs Office will arrange to have abandoned vehicles towed off private property, as well as public property, if the landowner signs a release. June 20, 2002 Sheriff's Calls
STINSON BEACH A 31-year-old Oakland resident at 5:40 p.m. Sunday notified deputies that a burglar had pried open the right rear window of her car while it was parked at Red Rock nude beach. She said the burglar stole the faceplate off her car stereo.
TOCALOMA A woman at 12:08 p.m. Sunday reported a burglar broke into her car parked on Platform Bridge Road at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and stole her car stereo.
INVERNESS PARK A deputy at 8:15 a.m. Monday shot a deer, which had been injured in traffic on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, to put it out of its misery.
BOLINAS A resident at 1:10 p.m. Monday reported a vandal had cut two tires on his van parked at Juniper and Elm roads. The resident said he didnt recognize the vandal but had managed to photograph him cutting the tires, which were worth $25 each.
MARSHALL A rancher at 11:24 a.m. Monday notified deputies of trespassers riding motorcycles on a neighbors ranch, which is for sale. He said the trespassers had been shooting previously. The rancher said no one is supposed to be on the ranch, which is along Highway 1, but when a deputy checked, he found the motorcyclists had permission to ride on the ranch.
STINSON BEACH A brick fell six feet off a fireplace and struck a 62-year-old man on the head, causing bleeding on the left side. Medics treated him at the scene. A deputy said he did not know what caused the brick to fall.
DILLON BEACH A woman on Marine View Drive at 2:38 p.m. Monday reported a motorist had run into her parked van. She said the two had exchanged names but that she wanted to file a report.
LAGUNITAS A man at 6:36 p.m. Monday reported his 16-year-old son had been hit by a boy aged 16 or 17 who then left in a tan van.
STINSON BEACH An electrical fire broke out in a Highway 1 residence at 8:55 p.m. Monday. Firefighters extinguished it.
FOREST KNOLLS A man at 8:46 p.m. Monday asked a deputy for advice regarding a roommate problem. A deputy advised the man to hire a lawyer familiar with landlord-tenant disputes.
STINSON BEACH A restaurateur at 9:04 p.m. Monday complained that a 31-year-old man with a guitar and wearing a straw hat was refusing to leave her business. By the time a deputy arrived, the man had left, but the officer found the man and admonished him to not hang out at the restaurant.
MARSHALL A citizen at 10:03 p.m. Monday reported a deer, which had been injured in traffic, was in the middle of Highway 1. At the Humane Societys request, a deputy shot the deer to put it out of its misery.
CHILENO VALLEY Deputies at 12:21 a.m. Monday received a report that three or four cattle were on Chileno Valley Road. An officer notified a rancher, and she rounded them up.
POINT REYES STATION Deputies at 7:47 a.m. Sunday received a report that an 85-year-old woman, who has a history of heart problems, was barely able to talk. County fire department medics handled the matter.
BOLINAS A woman at 10:04 a.m. Sunday told deputies she had received a report that a kayaker was disturbing seals in Bolinas Lagoon. When a deputy checked, he found no seals in distress and no kayakers around.
LAGUNITAS A Lagunitas Road resident at 10:55 a.m. Sunday notified deputies that a burglar had stolen 75 CDs from her car during the night.
BOLINAS A man at 3:41 p.m. Sunday reported smoke coming from a camper bus parked in a vacant lot at Larch and Locust roads. Officers said the smoke appeared to have come from an "internal fire that was extinguished." The bus occupants told deputies they have permission to park on the property, but the caller said he wanted to talk with deputies about this.
STINSON BEACH A ranger at 4:45 p.m. Sunday reported a vandal had smashed the window of a Nissan parked north of Slide Ranch.
STINSON BEACH A woman at 5:21 p.m. Sunday told deputies that $500 in checks had been stolen from her Seadrift Road home while she was at a sleepover party. A deputy gave her advice.
MUIR BEACH A San Francisco man at 6:30 p.m. Sunday reported a burglar or vandal had smashed a window of his car while it was parked along Highway 1.
BOLINAS A Brighton Avenue resident at 6:45 p.m. Sunday reported that older youths were smoking marijuana in front of a skateboard ramp. He said this is an ongoing problem and that several vehicles were blocking the street. The problem was abated before a deputy arrived, and the youths were gone.
POINT REYES STATION A man at 10:16 a.m. Saturday complained that a motorist had driven across the baseball field at West Marin School. The man said the motorist was associated with a team playing on the field. A deputy contacted the driver and told him "the proper path to take when entering the ballfield."
NICASIO A 40-year-old woman was knocked unconscious at 10:59 a.m. Saturday when she fell off a horse she was riding after it was spooked by something. The woman was wearing a safety helmet. Medics were summoned.
POINT REYES STATION A 92-year-old man living on Mesa Road fell from a chair onto the floor at 5:35 p.m. Saturday. The man said his head, hip, and ribs hurt.
FOREST KNOLLS A man at 6:57 p.m. Saturday complained of loud music coming from a party on Tamal Road and said it sounded as if a live band was playing. A deputy contacted the host, who said the band had finished playing and the stereo would be turned down.
NICASIO A woman at 7:29 p.m. Saturday called deputies from a Nicasio Valley Road ranch and said she was having a problem with a former friend in her 40s who keeps following her around Marin County, including to the ranch where she keeps her horse. She said the other woman was formerly employed at the ranch and now lives in San Rafaels Canal District.
BOLINAS A Brighton Avenue resident at 9:09 p.m. Saturday complained about a loud party.
WOODACRE A San Geronimo Valley Drive man at 9:02 a.m. Friday complained about a neighbor who "screams and yells at all hours of the night and day." The man said his neighbor lives alone and "goes out on [her] balcony and starts yelling for no apparent reason." When a deputy contacted her, she started yelling. At 11:05 a.m. Saturday, a Redwood Drive neighbor called deputies to say the woman was "screaming again and they have had it with her," a deputy reported. A deputy determined the woman was screaming because she feared an imaginary friend might be hurt. She was transported to the county crisis unit at Marin General Hospital.
WOODACRE A Fir Avenue resident at 11:06 a.m. Saturday complained that one month ago a thief had stolen $2,000 worth of tools from his truck, which was parked at his house.
MARSHALL Medics responded at 11:29 a.m. Saturday when a 30-year-old woman got something lodged in her throat. The woman was having trouble breathing and was suffering pain, which was getting worse, under both sides of her jaw.
WOODACRE A six-year-old boy on Saturday walked into the county firehouse with head cuts that needed to be stitched. He told medics his parents were away and that hed had an accident while at a friends house. His sitter took him to Marin General Hospital.
STINSON BEACH A woman at 12:16 a.m. Saturday complained about a loud party on the beach. A deputy contacted a parent who said she would bring children on a balcony inside.
POINT REYES STATION A deputy at 2:34 a.m. Sunday shot a possum, which had been injured in traffic on Highway 1, to put the animal out of its misery.
BOLINAS A woman at 1:50 p.m. Friday complained about a man living in a blue truck with a cover on Dogwood Road. A deputy contacted the man, who was sleeping in a small, white car and advised him that county law prohibits vehicular habitation. Nonetheless, at 8:40 p.m. Friday, officers received another complaint about the mans living in the truck. At 6:33 a.m. Sunday, the woman called again to report the man had spent the previous night in the truck. Deputies noted the owner of the lot where the truck was parked had given officers permission to have the truck towed off his land.
FOREST KNOLLS After a resident, who was having trouble with neighbors, went to Hall of Justice last Wednesday, deputies were told that he had left the Sheriffs Records Office lobby and gone into the Assessors mapping office, "making [the staff] very nervous," officers reported. He was asked to return to the Sheriffs Records Office lobby but wandered away. At 3:13 p.m. last Thursday, the man, who lives in a county-condemned house, according to a deputy, was taken to the county crisis unit for evaluation of his emotional health. At 6:34 p.m. Saturday, the man notified deputies he wanted to talk about an upcoming trial. He told an officer he feels "set up" by a neighbor, which is why he was in the crisis unit. He said he wanted to file a criminal complaint against the neighbor. A deputy gave the man advice and later reported, "The subject was just venting."
BOLINAS Deputies at 9:21 p.m. Friday received a 911 hangup call from an Olema-Bolinas Road address. Officers contacted juveniles at the phone number and determined their parents were having a party nextdoor. The juveniles admitted calling 911 as a joke. Their "parents advised they would handle the punishment," a deputy reported.
BOLINAS A deputy at 10:08 p.m. Friday cited a motorist on charges of driving although his license had been suspended and although he had no proof of automobile insurance.
CHILENO VALLEY A man at 12:49 a.m. Saturday reported 20 to 30 carloads of youths were parked at a bus stop, partly blocking traffic. When a deputy arrived, the party was already dispersing, and all the youths left.
BOLINAS A gray van and a gray Volvo collided at 1:07 a.m. Saturday and ended up 25 to 35 feet offshore in Bolinas Lagoon. Both vehicles airbags deployed, and no one was injured.
STINSON BEACH A Calle del Occidente resident at 1:31 a.m. Saturday reported hearing three loud firecrackers on the beach. A deputy checked the area but found no sign of fireworks. However, at 2:05 a.m., a Francisco Patio resident called and said he had heard fireworks that sounded as if they were in front of his home. Again a deputy checked but found nothing amiss.
BOLINAS A deputy at 3:32 a.m. Saturday found youths gathering at Brighton and Park avenues. He contacted them, and they agreed to leave.
BOLINAS A woman at 7:55 a.m. Friday reported her ex-boyfriend, 50, was trying to break into her home. He left in a white truck.
HICKS VALLEY A man on Friday complained that a vendor without any county permit to sell fruit was selling cherries at the corner of Novato Boulevard and the Point Reyes-Petaluma Road. A deputy determined the vendor had a permit to sell at that location.
BOLINAS After drinking vodka and ale for a day and a half, a man suffered DTs and went into a seizure in front of the community center at 3:32 p.m. Friday. He was taken away by ambulance.
NICASIO County firefighters at 4:11 p.m. Friday reported a motorcycle had crashed on Nicasio Valley Road. It was gone by the time a deputy arrived.
WOODACRE A woman at 12:15 a.m. Friday reported two men, who were traveling in a pickup truck, had just pulled down a stop sign at Central Avenue and Park Street. A deputy checked the intersection and found all four stop signs in place and that the county Department of Public Works had merely taken down an old sign.
MUIR BEACH A man at 4:12 p.m. last Thursday called deputies from Sunset Way to report that his mother, 78, was not breathing. She was taken to a hospital by helicopter.
POINT REYES STATION A 54-year-old man with a blood clot suffered a swollen leg from ankle to thigh at 9:41 a.m. last Wednesday. County fire department medics handled the matter.
WOODACRE A Redwood Drive woman at 5:12 p.m. last Wednesday called deputies, saying she was upset that a neighbor had accused her son of hitting the neighbors car. A deputy gave her advice.
NICASIO A deputy on Nicasio Valley Road at 9:50 a.m. June 11 arrested a man on a petty theft warrant out of Sonoma County. The suspects vehicle was towed away from Roys Redwoods.
POINT REYES STATION A Knob Hill Road resident at 11:44 a.m. June 11 reported that a man had been kicked by a horse and possibly suffered a broken leg.
BOLINAS A woman at 1:50 p.m. June 11 complained that someone was living in a bus parked on Brighton Avenue.

NICASIO A Santa Margarita resident at 10 a.m. Saturday reported that for the second time, someone has removed screens from his windows while he was away.
POINT REYES STATION Postoffice staff at 10:30 a.m. Saturday notified deputies that all the express-mail envelopes, tax forms, slips, and receipts kept in the lobby were dumped into the outgoing-mail box.
HICKS VALLEY Firefighters responded at 8:44 p.m. Friday when a 27-month-old girl pulled a table over on herself.
DILLON BEACH Marine View Drive A woman at 11 a.m. last Wednesday reported that a camper began quarreling when she stopped him from driving on a roadway that had just been repaved.
TOMALES Deputies were summoned at 10:51 a.m. last Thursday after one student saw another student, 17, start a fire in a restroom trash can.
SAN GERONIMO A man at 10:41 a.m. Monday reported miscellaneous tools and a phone had been stolen from a Sir Francis Drake Boulevard building after its window was forced open.
FOREST KNOLLS A man on Juarez Avenue at 11:53 a.m. Monday complained that a neighbor "came after him with a hammer," a deputy reported.
MARSHALL A new motorcycle crashed at 4:25 p.m. Monday on the Marshall-Petaluma Road, but no one was injured.
NATIONAL SEASHORE A Park Service ranger at 4:52 p.m. Monday reported two people had been injured when a vehicle overturned at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and the Mount Vision Overlook road. The two might be trapped inside the vehicle, the ranger added.
FOREST KNOLLS A Montezuma Avenue resident at 9:58 Monday told deputies a contractor had obtained a key to her house and may have entered the residence. A deputy noted she had reported this before. When an officer phoned the woman, she said she wasnt sure the contractor was involved.
DILLON BEACH A woman on Marine View Drive notified deputies at 9:55 a.m. Monday that she had quarreled with a man who appeared to be drunk and who had a small child with him in his car. A deputy noted the woman said the man "called her every name in the book and then sped off with the small child in the vehicle." The woman said she was "very concerned" about the child.
BOLINAS A woman at 10:58 a.m. Sunday reported that while shopping, she came out of a store and found her ex-boyfriend standing in front of her car. This violating a court-issued restraining order that he stay away from her, she said.
POINT REYES STATION A woman at 3:43 p.m. Sunday told deputies that when she went to use the county-maintained portable toilets behind the Cheda Build, a man told her she was trespassing on the Grandi property and had to leave. A deputy gave her advice. On Tuesday, The Light checked with Marshall Livingston of Inverness, the new manager of the Grandi property, and he said there has been "no policy change" and that the public can still use the restrooms. He does not know what man barred the woman.
HICKS VALLEY The Sonoma County Sheriffs Office at 4:12 p.m. Sunday notified West Marin deputies that two juveniles had just broken into a womans vehicle parked on Wilson Hill Road. The suspects were described as 16 or 17 years old and driving a Pontiac Firebird.
BOLINAS A 39-year-old woman fell down at 4:28 p.m. Sunday while riding a bicycle on the Olema-Bolinas Road. The woman, who landed on the pavement, complained of neck pain and was transported to Marin General Hospital.
OLEMA Deputies and firefighters responded to a report of a fire near Olema Creek at 12:46 a.m. Monday. Firefighters noted that although smoke could be seen, it might be coming from a pile of fireplace ashes.
BOLINAS A resident at 4:38 a.m. Monday reported a pistol was missing from his house and said a houseguest may have stolen it. He noted that when he confronted the houseguest, the man "disappeared."
INVERNESS PARK The Highway Patrol at 5:21 a.m. Monday reported there was an injured deer on the pavement at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Bear Valley Road. A deputy could not find it.
STINSON BEACH A Calle del Piños resident at 7:45 p.m. Saturday saw a windsurfer who had fallen off his surfboard and appeared to be in trouble. Deputies notified the Coast Guard.
TOMALES Sonoma County sheriffs deputies Saturday asked West Marin deputies to take a domestic-violence report on a woman who had shown up in the emergency room of Sebastopols Palm Drive Hospital. The woman, who lives on Middle Road west of downtown Tomales, was suffering from head injuries, Sonoma deputies said.
SAN GERONIMO A deputy at 9 p.m. Saturday reported a woman was walking a horse on Whites Hill and could pose a traffic hazard. Another officer determined the woman was merely leading a horse from one stable to another, was not on the roadway, and presented no traffic hazard.
POINT REYES STATION Deputies at 9:16 p.m. Saturday received a report that a tree one foot in diameter had caught fire on Los Reyes Drive. The tree was removed.
POINT REYES STATION Deputies at 12:54 a.m. Sunday found two vehicles in a high-speed chase on Highway 1 and could not tell which motorist was trying to get away from the other. Eventually, officers arrested an underage motorist on charges of drunk driving and released the other driver.
BOLINAS A resident at 3:46 a.m. Sunday notified deputies that a man had tapped on his window in the early-morning hours. The resident said that when he did not let the man inside, the man got into a white van and smashed into the residents vehicle three times, pushing the vehicle to the curb. He then drove off.
NICASIO A Los Piños resident at 9:12 a.m. Saturday said her 46-year-old husband had been drinking and kept saying to her, "Give me my wine." Deputies noted no violence was involved.
WOODACRE A woman from the Improvement Club at 9:55 p.m. Friday notified deputies that 10 to 15 teenagers were in the club parking lot listening to music. She said she feared they would jump the fence into the pool area, as some teens have done previously. Several juveniles left the parking lot when a deputy showed up.
BOLINAS A woman at 11:36 p.m. Friday complained about bonfires on the beach. A deputy contacted the juveniles, and the fires were extinguished.
BOLINAS A goat herder, 59, reported two men had stolen three goats (together worth $900) from where they were clearing brush near Brighton and Park avenues.
TOMALES High school staff at 10:32 a.m. Friday told deputies that a 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old girl had gotten into a physical fight over money. Both were punched and received scratches, deputies reported. The 16 year old was cited on battery charges.
LAGUNITAS A resident at 12:02 p.m. Friday reported a 45-year-old man was screaming "F-ck you!" at his girlfriend.
WOODACRE A Railroad Avenue resident at 1:51 p.m. Friday reported a tree-trimming crew had damaged her silver-colored Honda. She said the crew may also have damaged a male friends car two days earlier, but deputies concluded "the damage is not consistent with a tree falling on it."
BOLINAS A resident at 3:33 p.m. Friday flagged down a deputy to report vandalism underway. The officer found people painting a wall that is often covered with graffiti. He told them to stop "for now" and clean up after themselves.
WOODACRE A resident at 4:43 p.m. Friday reported his neighbors were not home and that a black Chevrolet pickup truck (similar to the suspect vehicle in a previous burglary of tools) had just headed down Carson Road. A male and female were in the truck, he said, and the female threw something out the window.
STINSON BEACH A man at 8:15 p.m. last Thursday called deputies from a restaurants payphone and said a man and woman in a red car had "kidnapped" him at Carls Jr. in San Francisco. They "verbally forced" him to consent to go to a barbecue in San Francisco but instead took him to Stinson Beach, he said. Deputies took a drunk-in-public report.
POINT REYES STATION The Highway Patrol at 8:30 p.m. last Thursday notified deputies that a man might be trespassing at West Marin School and may be going into an air duct.
MARSHALL A deputy at 11:07 p.m. last Thursday aided a Highway Patrol officer in rounding up six cows on the Marshall-Petaluma Road and returning them to their pasture.
FOREST KNOLLS A resident at 9:29 a.m. last Thursday notified deputies that a man and woman on Rosario Road had been screaming "for two hours." He said the woman was screaming, "Help me! Stop it! Leave me alone!"
SAN GERONIMO A passerby at 9:24 p.m. last Wednesday reported that a man in his 40s and wearing a Panama hat was on his hands and knees at the side of Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. The caller said the man might be looking for something. A deputy could not find the man.
BOLINAS A deputy at 9:47 p.m. last Wednesday contacted a small party of juveniles, and the youths agreed to leave the beach.
BOLINAS For the second time in recent days, a man last Wednesday at 9:54 p.m. suffered a detoxification seizure and had to be taken to Marin General Hospital.
OLEMA VALLEY A deputy at 9:20 a.m. last Wednesday cited a motorist on charges of passing over a yellow line, trying to escape an officer, and reckless driving. His vehicle was towed away.
MUIR BEACH A man on Pacific Way told officers at 11:21 last Wednesday that his surfboard had been stolen off the top of his car Saturday night.
STINSON BEACH A deputy assisted firefighters when a vehicle ran off Highway 1 and into Bolinas Lagoon at 10:45 p.m. June 4.
WOODACRE A man at 2:19 p.m. June 4 told officers there were large pieces of plywood in the middle of Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. "Hazard removed," a deputy later reported.
FOREST KNOLLS A resident at 3:10 p.m. June 4 reported four males were drinking in the town park. The resident described the situation as "an ongoing problem." However, when a deputy arrived on the scene, there were only three youths in it, and none of them had alcohol with them. The youths told the officer they had been in the park 10 minutes and had seen nothing amiss.
LAGUNITAS A deputy at 3:12 p.m. June 4 cited a minor for possessing cigarettes.

Ginnodo said the Sheriffs Office will arrange to have abandoned vehicles towed off private property, as well as public property, if the landowner signs a release. BOLINAS An anonymous caller at 7:19 p.m. Monday complained that four males in a pickup trucks white camper shell were drinking and being loud. The caller gave deputies the name of a recognizable homeless person in the group. An officer contacted three people who had been drinking but were not drunk. He reported telling them to "keep it down and not to drink much more since theyre in a public place."
WOODACRE A Madrone Avenue resident at 7:56 p.m. Monday told deputies that a month ago a neighbor threatened to kill her. She said she just saw him and feels threatened.
INVERNESS PARK Members of a household complained at 8:12 p.m. Monday that a woman housesitting for them had run up their phone bill and caused damage to their house. A deputy gave them advice.
WOODACRE A Garden Way resident at 8:54 p.m. Sunday reported seeing three youths in an older Nissan shining spotlights into other occupied vehicles.
POINT REYES STATION A resident at 11:05 p.m. Sunday complained of revelers partying and setting off firecrackers for three nights in a row at the main street and second street. The caller also complained about noise from a bar.
FOREST KNOLLS Deputy Steve Debrunner at 7:53 a.m. Friday responded when the Highway Patrol reported a 62-year-old man was having heart problems on Montezuma Avenue at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. The victim was coughing severely but remained conscious and alert. At 1:56 p.m. on the same day on the same street in the same town, the same deputy went to the aid of an 86-year-old man who also had heart problems. The officer was told the man had been going in and out of consciousness and may have been unconscious for a minute. He was transported to a hospital by helicopter.
POINT REYES STATION A woman at 12:34 p.m. Friday reported a burglar had smashed the window of her car while it was parked at Millerton Point State Park and had stolen her purse.
POINT REYES STATION A 29-year-old man at 3:26 p.m. Friday reported his white, 18-speed, $128, new bicycle had been stolen from behind a restaurant.
DOGTOWN A member of the Point Reyes Bird Observatory staff at 9:29 p.m. last Thursday reported hearing a male voice calling for help. He told officers he could not determine exactly where the screams were coming from, but they sounded as if the noise might be originating a mile up a park trail. He said he would wait by the trailhead until a ranger showed up.
NICASIO A woman at 11:26 p.m. last Thursday notified deputies that someone might be trying to break into the county corporation yard. A deputy tried contacting Department of Public Works staff but was unable to do so.
PT. REYES-PETALUMA ROAD A man about 40 years old suffered a seizure from the DTs and was taken by ambulance to Petaluma Valley Hospital.
BOLINAS Deputies at 9:03 a.m. last Thursday received a report from Brighton and Park avenues that a surfer in his 40s had developed chest pains. A helicopter was summoned.
SAMUEL TAYLOR PARK A deputy at 9:13 a.m. last Thursday assisted a state park ranger in dealing with three uncooperative people, a 16-year-old girl and men aged 22 and 26. An officer arrested one man on charges of possessing marijuana for sale, possessing hashish, and possessing drug paraphernalia. The girl was charged with possession of marijuana for sale, possession of LSD, obstructing justice, and destroying evidence. The second man was charged with possession of marijuana for sale, possession of LSD, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a false identification.
SAMUEL TAYLOR PARK County paramedics at 11:43 a.m. last Thursday reported a raccoon had bit a park employee.
STINSON BEACH Deputies at 3:24 p.m. last Thursday received a report that a silver Honda Accord had just hit a black sports utility vehicle that was parked on Calle del Mar. The Accord then drove off, heading south. The SUVs owner was not around.
NICASIO A Camino Margarita resident at 9:01 p.m. last Wednesday notified deputies she could hear someone walking around on gravel under the studio where she lives.
LAGUNITAS A motorist at 11:34 p.m. May 28 complained that a second man, who was drunk and high, had tried to jump on the hood of the motorists pickup truck. The motorist said the other man was attempting to hitchhike.
POINT REYES STATION A deputy at 4:30 p.m. Sunday arrested a man on public drunkenness charges after he passed out in the postoffice.
NICASIO RESERVOIR Two cars collided about 2:30 a.m. Sunday near the spillway, causing a vehicle fire.
INVERNESS A man at 4:13 p.m. May 28 went to the sheriffs West Marin substation to report that someone had dumped trash all along Sir Francis Drake Boulevard from Inverness to Inverness Park. The trash included old suitcases, garbage cans, and garbage bags, he said.
BOLINAS A man on Mesa Road at 4:36 p.m. May 28 told deputies he had lost his cell phone on the beach.
FOREST KNOLLS A Sir Francis Drake Boulevard resident at 4:50 p.m. May 28 asked deputies for more patrols in the area because vandals were "tagging" property with graffiti.
LAGUNITAS A man at 5:51 p.m. May 28 notified deputies of an ongoing dispute with his neighbors. He said that a few minutes earlier, his 16-year-old daughter had been backing a car out of their driveway when the neighbor woman began screaming at the girl and throwing rocks at her. After speaking to all of those involved, a deputy reported there is litigation in progress between the families.
TOMALES A woman at 2 p.m. Friday asked a deputy to tell a merchant not to call her a "bitch." The merchant agreed to stop calling the woman names.
BOLINAS A man on Brighton Beach at 4:05 p.m. Monday was taken into custody for violating his state parole. The arresting deputy said the man had been drinking alcohol although he was prohibited from doing so and had been warned the previous day.
PAN TOLL A motorist on Panoramic Highway was arrested at 4:40 p.m. May 24 on charges of drunk driving.
OLEMA A motorist on Highway 1 at 4:40 p.m. Saturday was arrested and cited on charges of having false tabs on his license plates.
