April 28, 2005 Sheriff's Calls

BOLINAS – A woman at 7:18 p.m. Sunday reported that her 58-year-old housemate, whom she said suffers from bi-polar disorder, was being verbally abusive. A deputy determined that the 58-year-old woman did not appear to be threatening herself or her housemate, and reported that the problem had been "abated."

WOODACRE – A woman at 10:31 p.m. reported returning home and smelling a strong natural gas odor, possibly from a gas leak. Firefighters determined that there was no leak and all the gas appliances appeared to be functioning normally.

TOCALOMA – The Highway Patrol at 1:45 p.m. Saturday reported that a large RV trailer had broken its rear axle and was stranded near the junction of Platform Bridge Road and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. A flatbed tow truck was dispatched..

INVERNESS PARK – A man at 2:13 p.m. Saturday told a deputy he had questions about a past theft out of a vehicle that he had not reported. He said it was a, "long story and was just looking for some advice."

BOLINAS – Deputies at 2:55 p.m. Saturday received a report that an 81-year-old man had fallen down and was unresponsive. Medics speculated that he may have accidentally overdosed on a new diabetes medication he had recently been prescribed. The man was flown by helicopter to a hospital.

FOREST KNOLLS – A woman at 5:35 p.m. Saturday reported that people had been trespassing on the property of a recently deceased relative. The only people allowed on the property are building contractors hired to fix the place up, she said. Deputies agreed to increase patrols of the area.

DILLON BEACH – A man at 7:57 p.m. Friday reported that a 20-year-old man was seen urinating in the Lawson's Landing parking lot about 15 minutes earlier. He said the man was part of a group of three or four people who had been drinking in the area that day.

BOLINAS – Deputies at 10:40 p.m. Friday received a report that a 16 or 17-year-old girl was extremely intoxicated and might need medical help. The girl "is outside a concert in downtown Bolinas and there are 50 to 100 people in the street," the report said. County firefighters from Point Reyes Station drove the girl to Marin General Hospital.

BOLINAS – A woman at 1:39 a.m. Saturday reported that there was a large group of young people crowded in the streets and she could hear swearing and a verbal confrontation. A concert had just finished, she said, and asked deputies to check the beach for bonfires.

FOUR CORNERS – Deputies at 8:53 a.m. Friday received a report that a bicyclist had hit a parked car near the Nicasio Reservoir. Medics responded.

WOODACRE – A woman at 9:57 am. Friday reported that an electrical contractor, whom she had hired to do some work for her, had challenged her to a fight in front of the Lagunitas store and had threatened to kill her mother. A deputy took a report.

POINT REYES STATION – A woman at 10:30 a.m. Friday told deputies that she wanted to file charges against someone she said assaulted her more than 13 years ago at the Olema Ranch Campground. A deputy gave advice.

WOODACRE – Deputies at 2:46 p.m. Friday received a report that a woman had been dragged by a horse and been hit in the back with a wheelbarrow. The woman was conscious and not bleeding. Medics responded.

BOLINAS – A man at 5:11 p.m. Friday reported that his female housemate, whom he said suffers from bi-polar disorder, had chased nearly everyone out of the house. The man asked deputies for advice on how to go about getting her to move out. A deputy gave advice.

TOMALES – A man at 5:57 p.m. Friday reported that he was having problems with a colleague he had asked to leave the premises. A deputy responded, but was unable to enter the property because the gate was locked.

INVERNESS PARK – A woman at 7:07 p.m. Friday reported that a 50-foot tree had fallen across her front yard and was blocking Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. Public Works was called while firefighters on the scene attempted to clear the roadway.

LAGUNITAS – Firefighters at 8:28 p.m. Friday responded to a report of a fallen tree about a half-mile west of the Lagunitas Store on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. Firefighters drove all the way through to Samuel P. Taylor State Park, but were unable to locate the fallen tree.

BEAR VALLEY – The Highway Patrol at 11:02 p.m. Friday received a report that a truck had gone off the road and had fallen down a small ravine just west of the Bear Valley Visitor Center on Bear Valley Road. Rescuers reported that the driver was not injured and passed a sobriety test given by a Highway Patrol officer.

NICASIO – An man at 2:20 a.m. Thursday reported that his 84-year-old father had fallen and needed help. The residence "is unlocked and has a small dog that barks, but does not bite," he said. Medics responded.

POINT REYES STATION – A woman at 9:14 a.m. Thursday reported that her daughter was being stalked. A deputy took a report.

INVERNESS – A man at 10:11 a.m. Thursday reported that he needed advise regarding an ongoing problem in his neighborhood. A deputy gave advice.

WOODACRE – A man at 12:43 p.m. Thursday reported that his 13-year-old daughter may have been a victim of date rape during the spring break holiday. The case was referred to the Investigations Division.

SAN GERONIMO – A woman at 1:09 p.m. Thursday reported that computer equipment worth approximately $650 had been stolen from a locked office. There was no sign of forced entry, she said. A deputy took a report.

WOODACRE – A man at 9:05 p.m. Thursday reported that he had accidentally hit a neighbor's fence that morning and had apologized. He then began receiving threatening phone calls, he said.

LAGUNITAS – A woman at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday reported that her neighbor's pitbull had been barking constantly for the past three days. A deputy found the dog home alone and left a copy of the county code regarding animal noise at the house.

POINT REYES STATION – A care provider at 2:17 p.m. Wednesday reported tha a 91-year-old man had taken three days' worth of medication and had passed out. Medics responded.

FOREST KNOLLS – A man at 2:22 p.m. Wednesday reported that he had been in an argument with a woman and she had passed out, possibly from an anxiety attack, he said. Medics and deputies responded. A deputy noted that the argument had been verbal and there was no evidence of an assault.

BOLINAS – A man at 5:09 p.m. Wednesday reported that two youngsters were riding up and down Poplar Road on a dirt bike. A deputy contacted the youths and they agreed to take the motorcycle home.

BOLINAS – The Highway Patrol at 7:04 p.m. April 19 reported that Bolinas Mesa residents had complained of a reckless driver on Birch and Mesa roads. Neighbors had yelled at the driver to slow down and the man had become verbally abusive. A deputy found the man walking away from the scene, determined he was drunk, and booked him for public drunkenness at the county jail.

BOLINAS – An anonymous Ocean Parkway resident at 8:26 p.m. April 19 reported that someone was blasting loud music from a car. A deputy could not find the vehicle.

BOLINAS – A man at 10:33 a.m. April 19 reported that former tenants had trespassed on his property and had dug up plants in the garden. A deputy gave advice.

NICASIO – A woman at 11:54 a.m. April 19 reported that he wanted to talk to deputies about rock-throwing kids who had damaged his car on April 12. A deputy took a report.

MUIR BEACH – A woman at 12:28 p.m. April 19 reported that she had discovered fraudulent bank transactions from an ATM card that had been in a missing wallet. Deputies took a report.

WOODACRE – A woman at 3:54 p.m. April 18 reported that her husband's ATM card had been used fraudulently while he was in France. A deputy took a report.

 

April 21, 2005 Sheriff's Calls

INVERNESS – A woman at 7:24 p.m. Sunday reported that her neighbors were beating a dog. The neighbors also were keeping six chickens, which she suspected might be illegal, she added.

DILLON BEACH – Deputies at 8:01 p.m. Sunday received a report that a 78-year-old diabetic man was breathing but otherwise unresponsive. Medics responded.

BOLINAS – A man at 12:15 a.m. Monday reported that he had severely cut his hand while whittling. He told a dispatcher that he was an Emergency Medical Technician by training and had applied pressure to the bleeding. Medics responded.

DILLON BEACH – A woman at 8:31 a.m. Sunday reported that a woman in her 20s had been found unconscious outside and was breathing irregularly. The young woman had been drinking heavily and had spent the night exposed to the elements, she said. Medics responded.

TOMALES – A man at 10:41 a.m. Sunday said he needed help removing a drunken employee from his property.

OLEMA – The Highway Patrol at 11:43 a.m. Sunday reported that a man was seen shooting at a road sign from a moving car. The vehicle was described as a brown Chevrolet El Camino headed west on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard towards Olema. Deputies were unable to find the car, but passed the description on to the night shift.

WOODACRE – A woman at 12:54 p.m. Sunday reported that she had been out-of-town for two weeks and had returned to find two iPod music players, a docking station, wine, and foreign currency missing. She said she had a teenage housesitter watching her house, but that the youth had denied any knowledge of the theft.

STINSON BEACH – A woman at 1:19 p.m. Sunday reported that a large umbrella had been stolen the previous night from her business. A deputy recovered the umbrella, which had been blown by the wind into a nearby marsh.

DILLON BEACH – Deputies at 4:10 p.m. Sunday received a report from a patient at Petaluma Valley Hospital that a woman brought in by county firefighters who had passed out drunk in Dillon Beach may have been sexually assaulted. Deputies spoke with the 19-year-old woman who told them that she had been with friends the whole time and was certain that there had been no assault.

BOLINAS – A woman at 7:28 p.m. Sunday reported that a man in his late 40s had fractured his ankle and bruised his ribs after a fall. Medics responded.

POINT REYES STATION – A man at 8:31 p.m. Saturday reported that an employee was missing after he failed to show up for work at 6 p.m. He said he had heard second hand that the man’s car had caught fire on 13 turns on Highway 1 around 1:30 p.m. and was concerned about his welfare.

BOLINAS – A man at 8:36 p.m. Saturday reported that a 16-year-old boy had fallen down and hit his head. He said that the boy didn’t look good and was leaving the scene in a white Nissan.

POINT REYES STATION – A woman at 9:13 p.m. Saturday reported leaving her purse at the Greenbridge Gas Station. A station attendant found the purse and turned it over to deputies.

DILLON BEACH – A woman at 9:26 p.m. Saturday reported that a group of people were trespassing on private property and had made verbal threats to the owner of a café. A deputy ordered the group to leave the premises.

DILLON BEACH – A man at 10:39 p.m. Saturday reported hearing someone breaking into the store. A deputy found evidence of a forced entry. Eight to 10 bottles of liquor were reported missing. Deputies dusted the premises for fingerprints.

WOODACRE – A woman at 11:53 p.m. Saturday reported returning home after being away to find the lights on in her house. She said she heard voices call out the name of the person she had entrusted to take care of her cat. The intruders, realizing that the owner had returned, then escaped through an open window. Alcohol was missing from the liquor cabinet and three jackets were left behind, she noted.

POINT REYES STATION – A woman at 2:38 a.m. Sunday reported hearing her tenant below yelling off and on. A deputy contacted the man, who was reportedly drunk, but had quieted down.

NICASIO – An anonymous caller at 11:26 a.m. Saturday reported eight or nine vehicles with bike racks parked on private property. It was an ongoing problem with cyclists, the caller said. Deputies took down the license plate numbers.

MARSHALL – The Highway Patrol received a report at 1:07 p.m. Saturday that a motorcyclist had gone down on Highway 1. The man had made a report from a cellular phone, but the connection was bad and they could not understand him. Medics responded.

DOGTOWN – A man reported at 1:30 p.m. Saturday that a yellow pickup was on fire after hitting a tree. Initial reports suggested that a dog might have been injured. Witnesses said the driver picked up the dog and took off running. The Highway Patrol found the man and dog and arranged for the truck to be towed.

INVERNESS PARK – A woman at 1:46 p.m. Saturday reported that a group of kids were stripping a parked car. A deputy found the car, and noted that it was hard to determine if the car was damaged as it appeared to have been abandoned a long time ago.

WOODACRE – A woman at 2:01 p.m. Saturday reported that two children were riding two-stroke motorscooters on public roads without helmets. It was an ongoing problem, she said. A deputy contacted the youngsters, advised them of the law, and they agreed not to ride on the street anymore.

DILLON BEACH – A woman at 4:45 p.m. Saturday reported that her wallet was stolen from her house a week ago and now checks were being written in her name. Deputies took a report.

STINSON BEACH – A restaurant manager at 5:48 p.m. Saturday reported that a man in his late 40s said he was told by "people" that he was supposed to meet his wife in the restaurant. His wife has a temporary restraining order against him, the man reportedly said, and added that the man is "creeping out" patrons and waitresses. A deputy gave advice.

OLEMA – A man at 8:12 p.m. Friday reported that a man in a pickup truck and horse trailer appear to be illegally camping along Highway 1.

STINSON BEACH – A man at 9:07 p.m. Friday reported that five to six young people were having a bonfire on the beach. A deputy was unable to locate any fires.

INVERNESS – A woman at 9:39 p.m. Friday reported that neighbors were partying and smoking marijuana. A deputy found the house all quiet on arrival and was told that a group of friends had just left.

MARSHALL – A caller at 11:42 p.m. Friday reported that a trailer full of kayaks parked in downtown Marshall appeared to have been hit. Kayaks and oars littered the roadway, the caller said. The driver knocked on the door of a nearby house and used the phone to report the accident and was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving by the Highway Patrol.

BOLINAS – A woman at 3:38 a.m. Saturday reported hearing fireworks or gunshots and voices on Bolinas Beach. A deputy checked the downtown and beach area, and heard a few fireworks, but was unable to locate the source.

BOLINAS – A woman at 8:47 a.m. Friday reported that her landlord had been yelling at her to have a friend’s Toyota removed from the property.

NICASIO – A woman at 9:51 a.m. Friday reported hearing 30 to 40 gunshots. A deputy checked the area and found nothing unusual. PG&E was working in the area and could have been the source of the noise, a deputy noted.

MARSHALL – A woman at 11:17 a.m. Friday requested advice over an incident of harassment that had occurred the previous weekend. A deputy gave advice.

STINSON BEACH – The Highway Patrol at 12:25 p.m. last Thursday spotted the car of a man wanted in connection with a domestic violence case in Sonoma County. Deputies arrested the man and drove him to Valley Ford, where he was taken into custody by Sonoma County sheriff’s deputies.

STINSON BEACH – A caller at 8:36 p.m. last Thursday reported seeing a large fire on Seadrift, possibly a structure fire. It was determined to be a bonfire and was extinguished.

INVERNESS – A woman at 11:18 a.m. last Thursday reported hitting a deer and injuring its hind legs. The Humane Society was dispatched to rescue the animal.

INVERNESS PARK – A woman at 3:48 p.m. last Thursday reported hearing a man yelling on and off since 9:30 a.m. All was quiet when a deputy arrived.

BOLINAS –  A man at 8:09 p.m. last Wednesday reported that a man was sleeping in the bushes. A deputy checked the area, but was unable to find him.

WOODACRE – A woman at 11:45 p.m. last Wednesday reported seeing two youngsters walking around with lit flares.

BOLINAS – A woman at 12:45 p.m. last Wednesday reported that she was concerned about her 32-year-old son whose face was scratched up and was very drunk.

FOREST KNOLLS – A woman at 1:07 p.m. April 12 reported that a man she knew was sitting in the park, was very drunk and yelling at her as she walked to the postoffice. A deputy was unable to find the man.

BOLINAS – An anonymous man at 2:02 p.m. April 12 reported that he suspected that a local man was contributing to the delinquency of minors. The man, he said, was seen "hanging-out" with underage girls and may have provided them with alcohol, although the caller said he had not seen any evidence of this.

BOLINAS – A Bolinas firefighter at 4:37 p.m. April 12 reported that a man, whom they had treated for a drug overdose the week before, had been verbally abusive towards firefighters that day. The man had yelled profanities as the firefighters drove past, the firefighter reported.

BOLINAS – A man at 9:52 a.m. April 11 reported that a woman was living in a white camper with Washington State license plates. A deputy told the woman that overnight camping in a vehicle is illegal.

POINT REYES STATION – A woman at 4:04 p.m. April 11 told deputies that her sister has a person growing marijuana on her property and wanted to know what the law was regarding the growing of medical marijuana. A deputy gave advice.

 

April 14, 2005 Sheriff's Calls

BOLINAS – A man at 11:52 p.m. Sunday reported that he was worried that his ex-wife’s boyfriend, who was expected to arrive from southern California soon, would try and assault him.

POINT REYES STATION – A woman at 1:02 a.m. Monday reported that her 18-year-old son had not returned home. A deputy gave advice.

INVERNESS PARK – A man at 7:52 a.m. Sunday reported that a young deer had been hit by a car about two miles north of Perry’s Deli and was injured. A deputy assisted the humane society in removing the animal.

POINT REYES STATION – At 9:42 a.m. Sunday deputies received a report that an 80-year-old man had fallen unconscious inside the Presbyterian Church. The man had a history of cardiac problems, the caller said. Medics responded.

BOLINAS – A man at 11:10 a.m. Sunday reported that he was having problems with his landlord. A deputy gave advice and referred him to the civil division.

BOLINAS – A woman reported at 12:20 p.m. Sunday that a 25-year-old man had taken as many as 30 pills of anti-anxiety medication, possibly Xanax, around 11 a.m. The man is now sitting in a church and is crying, she said.

POINT REYES STATION – A man at 12:29 p.m. Sunday reported that a man in a white van was ‘squealing his tires’ and had done it several times that day.

INVERNESS PARK – A woman at 3:48 p.m. Sunday reported that her 75-year-old husband had been missing for about an hour and a half. He has Parkinson’s disease and is easily confused she said, adding that he was out back chopping wood and may have wandered off.

MUIR BEACH – A man at 4:21 p.m. Sunday reported that his vehicle was splashed by water from the tires of a fast-moving car leaving Muir Woods. His windows were down and water got inside, he said. The man gave deputies a description of the car.

BOLINAS – A woman at 8:41 p.m. Sunday reported that her boyfriend is having "anger issues" and is yelling at her and her young daughter. The yelling has stopped, she said, and the man is now outside in a van. A deputy gave advice and the parties agreed to separate for awhile.

MUIR BEACH – A firefighter at 1:28 a.m. Sunday gave deputies a description of a suspicious truck seen near a fire. Deputies were unable to locate the vehicle and forwarded the information to the Highway Patrol.

POINT REYES STATION – A man at 10:41 p.m. Saturday reported that there were speeding vehicles in the downtown and that he had complained before and felt something needed to be done as someone is "going to get killed," he said. He has small grandchildren in the area, he added.

POINT REYES STATION – A man at 11:26 a.m. Saturday reported seeing a small Chihuahua dog on Highway 1 that was trying to climb into the trunk of an abandoned car marked for abatement. The man said he thought the dog’s persistent attention to the trunk was suspicious, and that the dog is with him now.

BOLINAS – A man at 4:36 p.m. requested that a deputy stand by while he inspects a property he has rented out. He has given the tenants three days notice, but one of them has a temper problem, he said. A deputy gave assistance.

SAN GERONIMO – A man at 6:42 p.m. Saturday reported that a section of trail between Juniper Avenue and a water tank has been hit by a mudslide and appears impassable.

LAGUNITAS – A caller at 7:17 p.m. Saturday reported that a hitchhiker standing on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard was throwing rocks at passing cars. The caller said they were concerned that the man might fall into the path of a vehicle, as he appeared very drunk. A deputy spoke to a man matching the hitchhiker’s description and determined that while he was slow and walked with a limp, he was sober.

POINT REYES STATION – A gray Honda car that was stolen in Berkeley was found abandoned on Highway 1 at 9:09 p.m. Friday. The car was towed and the Berkeley Police Department was notified. BOLINAS – A woman at 8:20 p.m. Friday requested advice on a dispute between a landlord and tenant. The woman was told a deputy from the civil division would call her.

FOREST KNOLLS – A man at 11:13 p.m. Friday reported that an 18-wheeler rig was parked outside his house with the engine running. He said he believes the driver keeps the engine running to keep warm. A deputy found the semi-truck but the engine was off and there was no answer from the sleeping cab. The caller did not answer his phone either. The man called back at 1:41 a.m. Saturday to say that the truck’s engine had restarted. A deputy contacted the truck driver who promised he would not start his truck again before morning.

BOLINAS – A woman at 8:29 a.m. Friday reported that her house had been robbed. The thief had used a key to steal $1,200 from a lockbox and said she believes she knows who did it.

BOLINAS – A man at 10:27 a.m. Friday was arrested and booked for public intoxication on Wharf Road. The arrest was made due to an increasing level of alcohol-induced violence in the community, the deputy noted.

INVERNESS – A woman at 8:50 p.m. last Wednesday reported that she believes her ex-boyfriend may be stalking her. She is afraid he could become violent, she said.

INVERNESS – A woman at 10:54 p.m. last Wednesday reported that she was feeling a little dizzy and that her hands were numb. She had begun taking a new medication, she said.

BOLINAS – Deputies received a report at 7:22 p.m. last Thursday from the San Francisco Police Department who had received a call from a woman whose sister in Bolinas was very distraught. The caller said she was afraid for her sister’s welfare as she had been suicidal in the past and has a history of alcohol abuse. A deputy found the woman to be slightly drunk, and after she made several suicidal statements, he admitted her to the crisis care unit.

BOLINAS – A man at 8:07 p.m. last Thursday reported that another man had grabbed him violently, but said he did not want to press charges. A deputy cautioned the suspected assailant.

MUIR BEACH – A man at 8:30 p.m. last Thursday reported that his house had been burglarized. He said he found his front door wide open and discovered a coin jar, jewelry, and a digital camera were missing. A deputy took a report.

BOLINAS – A man at 10:44 p.m. last Thursday reported that a bartender had threatened to "belly flop him" out of a bar and then abruptly hung up. The dispatcher noted that the man sounded drunk. Deputies called Smiley’s Schooner Saloon and spoke to the bartender who confirmed that he had told the man, who he said was extremely intoxicated, that he would have to leave or that he would call the sheriff. A deputy could not find the man.

BOLINAS – A man at 1:46 p.m. last Thursday requested that a deputy be present while he speaks to his tenants on Saturday

HICKS VALLEY – Deputies at 1:50 p.m. last Thursday received a report that a couple were having a verbal fight on the Point Reyes-Petaluma Road and that the woman was now walking towards the cheese factory after being forced out of their parked car. A road crew waited with the man until deputies arrived who interviewed the couple. The woman was found to be mentally unstable and was taken to the crisis care unit.

BOLINAS – A woman at 6:48 p.m. last Thursday reported that her son and friends were harassed while walking home by people in a passing vehicle. A soda bottle was thrown at them, she said. A deputy gave advice and agreed to increase patrols in the area.

TOMALES – A man at 1:31 p.m. last Wednesday reported that he had accidentally cut off his left pinkie finger with a Skilsaw and was feeling dizzy. The bleeding is under control, he said, but the finger is completely off. Deputies called his employer and wife while medics responded.

OLEMA – A man at 11:35 p.m. April 5 reported that a hitchhiker in front of his house was talking to himself and yelling at every car that drove past.

TOMALES – A woman at 1:18 p.m. April 5 reported that her son’s fiancé was interfering with her business on the ranch. A deputy gave advice.

BOLINAS – At 10:44 a.m. April 4 deputies received a report that a boater was bothering seals on Bolinas Lagoon. A deputy was unable to locate the boat, but said the seals appeared to be undisturbed.

NICASIO – Lucasfilm at 11:42 a.m. April 4 requested that extra patrols be stepped up around their two Lucas Valley Road ranches from May 1 to May 21. The company will be releasing a new film and anticipates that fans will show up at the ranches, deputies were told.

WOODACRE – A woman at 2:27 p.m. April 4 reported vandalism to real estate signs the previous Friday night. A deputy took a report.

 

April 7, 2005 Sheriff's Calls

LAGUNITAS – A woman at 10:29 p.m. Sunday reported that a man was sleeping inside the postoffice. She said she was startled by the man but had not gotten a good look at him. A deputy was unable to find him.

BOLINAS – A resident at 11:52 p.m. reported a loud party with six to eight young people outside. The party was contacted and they agreed to turn down the music.

BOLINAS – A man at 9:54 p.m. Saturday reported hearing fireworks near Brighton Avenue. Deputies were unable to find anything.

DILLON BEACH – A resident at 11:10 p.m. Saturday reported 15 youngsters drinking around a bonfire which was shooting sparks at surrounding trees. Firefighters were called and the bonfire was extinguished.

DILLON BEACH – A man at 11:53 p.m. Saturday reported a vehicle stolen by two men he knew. They had swiped his keys from inside his house, he said, and they were now headed towards Tomales. The Highway Patrol responded.

POINT REYES STATION – A firefighter at 12:42 a.m. Sunday reported hearing a gunshot near the firehouse. Deputies found nothing amiss.

BOLINAS – A resident at 9:29 a.m. Saturday reported the theft of an air compressor

WOODACRE – Deputies at 9:56 a.m. Saturday received a report that a woman in her 40s had fallen off a horse and was now vomiting. Medics responded.

MARSHALL – A woman at 10:24 a.m. Saturday reported elder abuse.

BOLINAS – A Brighton Avenue resident at 3:48 p.m. Saturday reported that several motorhomes were parked on the street and thought people may be sleeping in them later that evening.

BOLINAS – A man at 8:23 p.m. Friday reported that a 14-year-old girl had thrown a metal object at his car and was threatening him. He said she was now in front of Smiley’s Saloon and that he knew where her parents lived.

TOMALES – Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office reported at 10:18 p.m. Friday that a search and rescue truck sent to track an aircraft distress signal became stuck in the mud on the side of Fallon-Two Rock Road near Burbank Lane. A tow truck was called.

MUIR BEACH – A resident at 10:37 p.m. Friday reported that a vehicle had gone off half-way off a bridge near the Pelican Inn.

NICASIO – A resident at 10:48 p.m. Friday reported spotting a party of underage drinkers heading out on Nicasio Valley Road.

BOLINAS – An anonymous caller at 11:08 p.m. Friday reported that six people were on the beach with a bonfire. A deputy found three fires, ordered them put out, and informed them that fires were never allowed on Bolinas Beach.

NICASIO – A man at 11:59 p.m. Friday reported that a loud party had gotten out of control. The host of the party then called deputies, complaining that the party was being crashed by uninvited revelers.

INVERNESS – Deputies at 4:30 a.m. Saturday received a call that a 79-year-old woman was feeling nauseous and dizzy and was afraid she may be having a stroke. Medics responded.

SEADRIFT – A man at 9:16 a.m. Friday reported that someone had broken down the Seadrift security gate in the early hours of the morning. The break-in had been recorded by security cameras, he said, and provided the license plate of the assailant to deputies.

STINSON BEACH – A man at 11:11 a.m. Friday reported that a camper might have people sleeping inside. No one was home when a deputy checked.

BOLINAS – Deputies at 2:58 p.m. Friday took a report from a woman for apparent identity theft and fraud and passed information on to the Woodland Police Department.

WOODACRE – A woman at 9:12 a.m. last Thursday reported that earlier that morning a convertible pickup truck driven by teenagers had deliberately sprayed mud all over her eight and seven year old sons who were playing out front.

POINT REYES STATION – A woman at 10:41 a.m. last Thursday reported that she had been audio taped without her permission. A deputy gave advice.

POINT REYES STATION – A man at 12:50 p.m. last Thursday reported that four motorcycles were illegally parked on the sidewalk.

WOODACRE – A man at 5:43 p.m. last Thursday reported that he had been burgled. Thieves took $27 in change from on top of his dresser, he said.

WOODACRE – A teenage girl at 6:18 p.m. last Thursday reported that classmates had posted a derogatory website about her.

WOODACRE – A resident at 7:15 p.m. last Thursday reported that a dead or injured deer was lying in the middle of Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.

STINSON BEACH – Deputies at 9:13 a.m. last Wednesday received a report of unconscious females of indeterminate age. The subjects were helicoptered to a hospital.

FOREST KNOLLS – A woman at 9:52 a.m. last Wednesday reported that her father had knocked her down. She said she confessed that she was having suicidal thoughts and that he handed her a knife and told her to kill herself before driving away. She agreed with deputies to check in to the crisis care unit and the father’s details were forward to the District Attorney’s Office for possible felony charges of aiding and abetting attempted suicide.

SAN GERONIMO – A man at 12:42 p.m. last Wednesday, complained that his neighbors were verbally abusing prospective buyers for his property that was up for sale.

POINT REYES STATION – A man at 2:42 p.m. last Wednesday, complained that he was the victim of a scam on <Craigslist.org>. He had made a deal but had been paid with counterfeit money orders, he said.

FOREST KNOLLS – A man at 4:38 p.m. last Wednesday, reported that two women were chasing two loose horses on Ramona Avenue. Deputies were advised not to use their sirens so as not to spook the animals.

DOGTOWN – Deputies at 7:08 a.m. March 29 received a report of cows in the middle of Highway 1. Deputies found a hole in the fence where the cows had escaped.

POINT REYES STATION – A woman at 1:44 p.m. March 29 reported discovering the body of a 72-year-old man in his home. He had been very ill, she said.

BOLINAS – A woman at 5:36 p.m. March 29 reported that she had caught her daughter’s ex-boyfriend in her house without permission. A deputy gave advice.

FOREST KNOLLS – A man at 10:02 p.m. March 28 reported hearing a woman screaming to call 911. Things had quieted down when a deputy arrived.

INVERNESS – A resident at 10:35 p.m. March 28 reported a group of eight to 10 rowdy youngsters in his yard. The juveniles jumped a fence and fled when a deputy arrived.

POINT REYES STATION – A found German passport was left in the lobby drop box of the Sheriff’s Substation on the evening of March 27.

INVERNESS PARK – A man at 12:03 p.m. March 28 reported identity theft and fraud. Money had been withdrawn from his bank account, he said.
